White House "drug czar" John Walters says new cultivation methods mean marijuana sold today in the US is much stronger than in the 1960s. "We have a growing problem with the expansion of particularly high-potency marijuana coming from Canada," he said. Hockey might get some decent rating if ESPN had the commen sense to do a little promotion. They has not been ONE segment about the NHL on Around the Horn or PTI the past two weeks. Totally none events like the release of the NFL schedual has gotten more air. I was really exicited yesterday when PTI had "playoffs" listed in the five good minutes spot. Not suprisingly, it was about the NBA playoffs that haven't even started yet. If you tell a general sports audience why they should care about the NHL playoffs (You've got bitter rivals Philly/ NJ and Toronto and Otttawa going at it, the 1 seed Wings are tied 2-2 with the 8 seed Nashville for starters) pepole might tune in. And if you decide to air filler crap like the Yankess on Trial when you could be showing NJ and Philley (teams in some the countrys largests markets) you just make sure the NHL is viewed as unimportant.

The last episode was a big let down after the last two kicked so much ass. The Mel Gibson thing was pretty good, and Cartman as Hitler was kind of funny, but not as much as I would have thought. And you'd think JC would have made an apperance considering he's a reoccuring character.

Two bad high school teams and JV in general does in dead make for some pathetic baseketball. I'm a big fan of College ball, where pepole actually have skill and fat girls aren't out there throwing up a bunch of junk threes. I don't give a fuck about the WNBA, maybe it'd watch a little if they actually played during basketball season. The dunk was mad weak. I think it's actually going to hurt women's ball because ppl are making such a big deal out of it. There's never going to be a whole lot of dunking unless the world sees a big jump in the number of 6'7+ women. The women's game is best when you've got skilled players who can show them off better than in the men's game because no one is going to physically dominate.

I've always found it funney that drugs are not the answer unless they're made by a giant corperation and prescribed by doctors. If your going to use drugs to effect your feelings, might as well take some of the fun kind.
