I've gotten robo-calls for the 26th Congressional District race. In 2006, Jim Kelly called telling me to support Tom Reyonlds. In the Democratic Primary, John Kerry called me to support Ron Powers. I've been robo-called by Dem canidate Alice Kryzan a few times. I like being pandered to like I was when I was attending Kent State in 2004 as oppossed to being totally ignored. It was cool that Steve Buscemi showed up on campus to register voters.

Ohio State fans are the worst. At lot of kids going to the MAC Ohio schools well sit in there dorm to root on anther school than to go to an actual game at the school they actually go to.

I enjoy college football and basketball more because they have a more interesting style of play. In football I enjoy watching teams play the option or a spread offense. I basketball, I enjoy seeing a whole variety of offenses and defences. I enjoy seeing a good zone trap wreak defensive havoc, I love a good give and go, I love a well timed pick. I'm nerdy like that. Plus, I have a really hard time getting into an 82 game regular season. And atmosphere is an important factor. I enjoy seeing schools from East bum fuck middle America getting national attention. I enjoy having students right on top of the action instead of the best seats going to the ultra rich who are there just to show off their status and can't be bothered to get into the game.

There's been speculation over the years that Big 10 would grad someone like Rutgers or Syracuse (at least before that program became one of the worst in college football) to get to 12 teams for a conference championship game and to get into the Northeast TV market.

I think this Series is a toss up. I say Rays in 7 just because I see another no history Florida team breaking the hearts of an angst ridden city like Marlins vs. Indians in 1997.

The blurred logo's don't really bother me at all. When I first see them, I remember what a dumbass Vince was concerncing the whole WWF agreement, then I really don't think about them as the match goes on.

Agreed. Jim and Pam have to go on cruise control for a while until they either break up or get married. Still, they're doing a good job just being on cruise control. Call me a girl, but the whole voice mail scene was super cute.

I've been saying the same thing. I wish someone would do the statistics showing the percentage of FGs made w/o icing the PK vs. FGs attempts after calling at time out. PK always say they like being able to take their time to set up. I'd rather have the chaos of having the kicking unit rush on the field and try to get the kick off in under 40 seconds.

That video would have been nice if it had some hockey clips.

What sucks about living in Western New York is that the NFL thinks you're part of the NY Metro media market and I get stuck with Jets/Raiders instead of Colts/Packers for my only 4:00 game.

I really advise against reading that spoiler if your going to watch this at all. I'm sort of interested, but I keep hearing they keep metioning it 1973 in really forced ways that distracts from the show.

I caught the original Stepford Wives last night on TCM. It was a great watch even knowing the ending beforehand-9/10 I though the remake was fairly bad before (I gave it about a 4.5 out of 10 when I saw it), now I want to kick whoever was responsible for that abortion in the nuts. It was awsome to Robert Osborne went out his way to trash the remake when giving his post movie thoughts.

I'd like to think most conservatives aren't that stupid/xenophobic. The campaign's a referendum on Obama. Other than long time McCain supporters who buy into the “Maverick” image, the only people I could see being enthusiastic enough to attend a McCain rally are those who think Obama’s somehow a leftist radical and an Islamic jihadists.
