You can be such a dumbass sometimes. I hated the Batman sequels after Batman Returns, and I never got into Batman: The Animated Series. I never saw Batman Begins, but I'm super fucking pumped for this movie.

I just saw this today, and it was the first time a blockbuster, critically acclaimed, movie ever lived up to the hype for me. I think the messages of not letting the Earth go to Hell and embracing personal and global responsibilities should be universal. The backlash by SOME on the right (Other conservatives love the message of taking personal responsibility) is retarded. Yes, Disney releasing such a film is hypocritical, but I think they just let the writers go where they wanted to. I’m sure if I ever took a stroll around the toy aisle of Wal-Mart, I’d be horrified by the amount of plastic Wall E crap being pushed, but it’s not the writers fault. The audience I saw it with was 90% 21 plus, mostly middle aged and elderly. I’m wondering how the kids are liking it? This film worked on so many levels. Whether intentional or not, I saw influences ranging from Land of the Dead to 2001, just to name a couple. While not the in the Top 10 of all time, like it had been on IMDB recently, I hope this gets some Academy Awards.

We should have been investing a shit load of public dollars in stuff like Amtrak and public transit a long time. People should also think of money spent on road construction and maintenance as subsidies for the automotive industry. Passenger rail in Europe, which is very popular, could not survive without government subsidies. Like most Americans, I live in an area with very poor public transportation and suburban sprawl. I’m going to have to deal with the absurdity of driving my lone self in an one ton car just to get to work and grad school for the foreseeable future. As many have noted, we’ve been talking about our dependency on oil (at least of the foreign variety) for decades. This situation has been totally foreseeable for a long time, but we’ve been too stubborn to change our lifestyles. The transition is going to be WAY more painful than it ever should if we had real leaders who could look past an election cycle.

I would agree that the WM X Ladder match should be on the HBK DVD. If your a super HBK fan buying the DVD for HBK's greatest moments, you'd be shocked that it wasn't on there. But I agree their are plenty of other releases by WWE releases with the match, so any super wrestling nerd shouldn't complain.
