I got talked into paying to get Great American Bash 2000 because my brother convinced me that "the event that will change sports entertainment forever" was Shane McMahon jumping to WCW. I still pissed that I never bothered to send away for the free Hogan inflatable raft you could get if you sent in your cable bill.

Is anyone else worried about another "trap door" incident with a TNA wrestler happening if Warrior is brought in? It never seemed like having magic powers were an important part of his gimmick. Warrior got over by being super intense and kicking ass.

- JR's blog. Coachman's at MSG for sure now. He's one of the regular broadcast crew for telecasts of the WNBA's New York Liberty. I watched part of tonight's game just because I heard Coach on commentary when flipping around.

As a fellow addict, I can really sympathize with people who relapse on drugs and alcohol that get you high. For the non-addict, the behavior just seems like pure idiocy, but it's a disease that can come back and hit you even when you're at your the best. (I think the pressure of a major push also helps people to use as well.) Wrestling seems like a biz were alcohol flows freely. Booze is still a drug, and after having a few beers with the boys its so easy to take some illegal drugs. But if it's just roids for ascetic purposes I have far less sympathy. I know a certain look is needed in this biz, and I'm pissed obvious roiders like Batista, HHH, and Cena never get caught for SOME reason, but roids aren't a physical or physiological need.

Well, it was slightly less akward than Bush dancing with the Africans. And far less awkward than Hacksaw Jim Duggan hosting WWE Kiss Cam That's by far the best Kiss Cam ever. All I know is that, after I went to the Duggan Kiss Cam link, the top of the related videos queue had a video featuring a whole lot of Mickie James and I immediately jumped to that. I as well.

I thought it was an entertaining enough hour of wrestling. Nothing activly sucked IMO. I liked the build of Big Show as a monster face. Eh, suppose you're right. It didn't actively suck, but it didn't stand out, either. I'm not sold on the Singapore cane match. Why is Punk in it if he already has a title shot whenever he wants? That's generally what WWECW has evolved into. I just look at it as Tuesday Night Heat. I think the Singapore cane match has potential, but it's nothing I'd consider to pay to see.

I don't know if that was sarcastic. If it wasn't, you care more about storylines than the health of wrestlers and the industry as a whole? I'm a big Regal mark, and I would rather see him get some help if he needs it as oppossed to getting a push and passing before his time.

I sort of get the feeling he felt the need to get roided up for his push.

If you don't mind running to a few gay pepole, the bar scence in Lakewood is great. It's pretty easy to tell the gay bars from the regular ones if you have the slightest bit of common sense. The club scence in the Warehouse District North of downtown was taking off when I left Ohio three years ago. The Flats seems to be dying out. The Gateway District around the Q and Progessive Field has good sports bars.

And it's always the same people over and over again. I hate them too The worst thing is at basketball games when pepole wait until 2 minutes into a TV time out to decide to get up and they never wait for a stopage in play when they come back.

I did. Looks like my year and a half of being shut out is about to end. I'm sad we're about to lose the arch-liberal of my life time.

Keep deluding yourselfs Knicks fans. I can see LeBron playing out his last few seasons in NY, but he's more than happy being the King of NE Ohio. I'd kind of like to see Lakers-Celtics as a fresh but retro match up , but I hate both cities and the ESPN hype would be retarded. Detroit and SA in 6. SA in 6. Boring, but better than having an annoying douchy fan base win.

I'd say it's not a matter of if but when concerning Warrior flaking out. I thought this story would get it's own thread, it generated close to 100 comments on 411. TNA shows intrest in Warrior. I think they could pop a ratting up to a 1.3 just out of curiousity.

I agree completely. SummerSlam 2004 was single-handedly ruined by the Toronto fans, who seem to be the leaders of "proving how smart they are." I was at SS 2004 and the only thing about the Toronto crowd I didn't like was that they cheered Trips over Eugene when I was in full HHHate mode at the time. Best time I ever had doing the wave.
