Wait, Miz is suppossed to be face? I can't stand him at all. He gets X-Pac heat from myself atleast.
-
So, let's see how they fuck it up tonight! I'm expecting lots of bad comedy based on that report.
-
I'm getting the same vibe, but I don't think Raven is on the mind of anyone in WWE.
-
If there had been, they might have got away with that film being as stupid as it was. I'd love to see a modern remake of the 60s Batman. I just don't know who you could get to recreate Adam West's goofiness.
-
I just saw Platoon for the first time. I think it's right up there w/ Apocolypse Now for best Nam movie ever if pepole want to get into a best Nam Movie debate. Also, everyone needs to go see Rescue Dawn now.
-
Well, the ratings for TNA are up a .1 or .2 points but the buyrates are have fallen significantly since Russo took over. I don't hate Russo, I think he's good on a booking team, just not as the lead booker.

I've enjoyed house show more than any of the Raw I've been to. I actually have the most fun at SD! tapings for whatever reason.

When Was The Last Time You Were Surprised By A Match Finish?
RepoMan replied to Chazz's topic in The WWE Folder
1. I didn't know what to expect heading into that match. I know WWE loves Lashley, but Kennedy really needed a win to be remotly credible. I thought it was 50-50. 2. That suprised the hell out of me. -
I'd love it if they did that. They are under pressure for to get a major storyline to pump up ratings. The only thing I've really liked about Raw lately is Umaga, Kennedy and the lack of Vince.

The Next Gen Hart Foundation debut on OVW TV [JULY 28, 2007]
RepoMan replied to Oldschool's topic in The WWE Folder
I saw Harry Smith at an Indy show wrestle Charlie Hass. They were building a great match until the ring started to fall apart. I give them props for working through it, though I think they should have just stopped the match and fixed the ring. -
His return is the perfect time to give him a mouthpiece and turn heel but well probalbly just get a bunch of videos like Trips is in the weeks leeding up to his return.
-
I think enough time has passed since the HHH/Angle/Steph triangle they can pull that storyline out of the vault. I was looking forward to a good whodunit? angle with Vince's death (though the pay off was going to end of horible).

I actualy liked Santino is his role as a whiney heel. I wouldn't mind having him stick around for a while before he's sent down and repackaged. Come to the ring every week, start complaining, and have someone come out and kick his ass. His segment was the most entertaining thing or Raw yesterday.

Raw has been stale as fuck for a long time now, I've only been watching out of habit and nothing better to do on Monday nights. I'm not suprised ratings go down, but big a fall from one week to next is something I've never remembered seeing. I was actually pretty entertained the first hour, the second hour blew expect for me marking out that Cena jobbed. Face it, Lawler vs. Booker as the big advertised match and Carlito vs. Cena in the Main Event isn't going to draw. Cena's been "overcoming the odds" for so long and you just throw a guy who's been the lower mid-card lately and you have no reason to watch. I thought it was one of the worst main events ever in terms of getting pepole interested, though I thought it was a good match and liked the result.

WWE General Discussion for July 2007
RepoMan replied to Hunter's Torn Quad's topic in The WWE Folder
He's got a great pop for beating the crap out someone annoying. Just have random mid card heels run their mouth's and have Umaga destroy them for a few weeks and he's over as a face monster. I'd love to see Estrada come back as well. -
I'd love to see Cuse move the Big 10. I was super pissed when the move to the ACC got screwed up. I don't that leaving the Conference for football would be a bid deal at all. It's only been around since the early 90s and Cuse lost it's top rivals VT and Miami. As far as basketball goes, I guess it would be "sacrilidge," but bastketball has gone through so many realignments and over bloated with 16 teams. If the B10 is looking to the East, Rutgers seems like the mutch better choice at this point in time, and it would fit the profile of the other Big 10 schools a lot better than Cuse.
-
I don't see Trips coming back tonight. WWE will use hit return to pop a rating whenever he's ready.
-
I know I might be the only one here that liked the Vince death angle, but that was the last angle on Raw that has been remotely interesting to me. The show has been overall boring as hell overall with the ocassional entertaining mid-card match. The Raw writing staff does need to get some angles that are going to hook viewers to come back everyweek.

I wish Lovitz killed Andy Dick so I could finally get on the board in the Death Pool.

WWE Preview SAN JOSE, Calif. – One swift kick to the knee and John Morrison had locked up his first win under his true name. CM Punk fell victim to the ECW Champion’s vicious style as Morrison got the three-count and retained his gold. “The problem with Punk and the straightedge lifestyle is that he doesn’t experience the things that John Morrison experiences,” the champion explained. CM Punk seemed to be a man in tune with destiny, simply waiting for his moment at The Great American Bash. Like his first championship opportunity against Morrison at Vengeance: Night of Champions, however, this moment was denied. “CM Punk playing Skee-Ball at Chuck E. Cheese is never going to reach the intellectual heights and experience the life that John Morrison experiences and, therefore, he will never know what to do in the ring against John Morrison,” said the ECW Champion. Just as CM Punk is a Superstar whose principal morals revolve upon abstaining, Morrison is a man chiseled out of knowledge and understanding. “William Blake once said the road of excess leads to the palace of wisdom,” Morrison said. “And that’s where I dwell. John Morrison is enlightened.” Morrison may sooner be referred to as arrogant than enlightened; however, he does know something nobody else knows. He is the only man who can call himself the ECW Champion. And it does not appear that CM Punk can do anything about it. “CM Punk, I suggest cashing in your tickets at Chuck E. Cheese for a replica ECW Championship because that’s the closest you’re ever going to get to the gates of paradise.”

When should John Cena Drop the Belt?
RepoMan replied to JaMarcus Russell's #1 Caucasian Fan's topic in The WWE Folder
They're not going to turn Cena heel anytime soon. He still sells a buttload of merchandise. I'd still like to Lashley get turned heel with a good mouthpiece like Estrada -
Baby killing Snitsky was way more interesting.
-
That would make sense given that Arco was built only with basketball in mind and thus no room for a hockey rink.
-
I don't know why I remember this, but there never seems to be a ramp in Sacramento.

A whole match of Santino's fake accent is hard to bare.
