I'm curious as to why you think Buffalo should be on that list. The Bills might not have a star WR but the recieving unit is above average as a whole.

I think WWE is dumb to try and pop a rating on New Years. I'm guessing just a .3 ratings bump, I'll be shocked if it bumps over .5.

Snitsky's main upside is his comedy. ECW is nothing but blande hosses and Punk.

Everyone who picked Saddam better get ready to revise their picks. Saddam could hang in hours: Iraqi officials

If it made economic sense to go on the road every week I'm sure they would have done so by know. I think the Impactzone looks fine. At this point TNA is happy with the niche of the wrestling market they got so they don't really need to worry about going to large arenas to compete with WWE.

I'm more concerned with poor Kevin. Wrestling in the WWE is one step above Celebrity Boxing on FOX. He still has a little steam left to not be a total sideshow. I think the two kinda deserve each other at this point. After all, they've both had pure gold handed to them and managed to piss it at every turn, almost as if they didn't want it to begin with. K-Fed got to leach off of and bone Brittany for a few years and still stands to get a good settlement. I think he comes out of the whole affair doing pretty well. The guy's are great heat machine, I think he could be the next Bobby Henan as far as heel managers go.

WWE thinks fans will be confused if two wrestlers have the same first name, so you would be correct in your assumption. I'm a big Benoit mark and can't stand Cena, but Benoit's merchandise hasn't exactly been flying off the shelves. WWE wants to protect there money maker. It's not fair, but it makes sense business sense.

http://www.wwe.com/shows/raw/tribute/ On Christmas night, WWE and its Superstars will present its annual Tribute to the Troops special. The Raw, SmackDown, and ECW Superstars and Extremists will compete for the nation's troops stationed in Iraq. You can witness history for yourself as the USA Network broadcasts "WWE Tribute to the Troops: Christmas in Baghdad."

That games deserves a lot more love. That was the best game of hoops, men's or women's, at any level last year. Another one not mentioned: Itaily beats Germany with a late goal in the WC semi-final. Great atmosphere as the Germans can actually show thier national pride in a positive manner.

Yeah, Jaron does a great job coaching overall but every once and a while he makes a call stupider than anything Malarky would do. As soon as I heard they were going for it I knew JP (who to his credit now looks like a solid NFL starter) would panic, run around forever and get sacked or picked off. The odds of Lindel making a 45 field goal into the wind are a lot better than converting a 4th and 5 with an inexperienced QB. Even if they got the first down they wouldn't have been that much closer and they could have given up a sack after that and ended up with worse field position.

I agree. Khameni might be a autocratic thug, but he never went around making it look like he wanted to nuke Isreali for fun. I'm sure Khameni wants to get nukes to increase Iran's balance of power in the region but I wouldn't worry about Khameni actuallying using them. Learning to live with a nuclear Iran is probably the least bad option at this point. Obviously a ground invasion is off the table. Airstrikes might set back the nuclear program a few years, so the US would have to go through a cycle of airstirkes every few years. Inside Iran, the hardliners would become more popular and emboldened and any moderate or opposition political forces would be destroyed. Iran also has the ability to mine the fuck out of the Gulf, wreeking havoc on shipping, sending oil prices soaring to previously unimagiable hieghts.

Did his lawsuit against Time Warner go anywhere?

I think this angle could be entertaining if the dosn't take up too mutch TV time and run out of steam. Raw has been a lot less entertaining w/o da Bish. Thanks for writing this stuff out.

It's not as good as the JR megamix, and I'll be forever greatful for anyone who can dig that up.

The really screwed up part is that Iran wanted to come to the table in 2003. It would have helped vindicate the Iraq invasion, but the Bush adminstration didn't want to talk to "evil." Iran's gulf of misunderstanding with US

The win streak is a very lazy way to get just about anyone over, simple as that.
