WWE drops one talentless hoss, gains another...
RepoMan replied to The Czech Republic's topic in The WWE Folder
How do you sucessfully book tall guys with limited talent? -
Of the three, Hogan vs Cena is probably the preferable choice. Cena would need to go full-blown heel for it to happen, though, which WWE seem extremely reluctant to do. I'd rather Hogan never wrestled for WWE ever again, except possibly for a Hogan/Austin match with Austin going over. I think Cena in full blown heel mood vs. super babyface Hogan would be entertaining as hell, and I think Cena could get back over as a tweener afterwards.

I though his first name was Ultimate.

Does anybody think WWE is destroying Shelton Benjamin's career?
RepoMan replied to Wrestlefreak's topic in The WWE Folder
Shelton can be a little sloppy and I agree his timing is a little off most of the time, but it's nothing a few years of experience won't solve. When it does, Shelton can just be pushed as a wrestling machine like Benoit, until then he needs a manager, but looking like a Mama's boy isn't going to help him get over, its just entertaining in a wrestlecrap kind of way and sometime legitmently funny. I think a good idea would be a have some Diva that's doing nothing right now become Shelton's love intrest that Mama dosn't aprove. They can have a slow burn angle over which women will come out on top in Shelton's wife. After he picks a diva, his Mama can manage whoever he happens to be fueding with or start a feud w/ wrestler x over that reason. I don't think a lot of pepole want Shelton maineventing, but seeing pepole like Carlito and Masters who also can be sloopy and lack Shelton's wrestling ability flirt with the main event turn Shelton into a smark mytar. -
I think it has something to do with his delusional arogenece.

I can relate, all my friends have gfs that they have to spend every waking moment togeather. It's really fucking annoying and they say shit like "when are you going to get a gf?" Maybe if we didn't spend every Friday and Saturday in the same apartment complex I might get some action. I'm about ready to go bar hoping by myself but I'd feel like and look like a loser.

Ralph Wilson is cheap and uncreative.

Anyone else want to see this thread pinned?

The gimmick has been a lot more entertaining than I would have ever expected but no way it's ever going to get out of the mid-card. It will be played out in a few months if not sooner.

Weekend Box Office Estimates (U.S.) Jan 13 - 16 weekend
RepoMan replied to BlackFlagg's topic in Television & Film
Hoodwinked seems like it did good with piss poor promotion. I had no idea it existed until Friday and I've been laid off and watching a shit load of TV. -
Stepford Wives, b/c my ex really wanted to see it and the DVDs at Family Video were out.

Buffalo has no depth and are going to have a tough time winning MAC road games. Only 3 MAC schools have a shot at an at large imo at this point, Miami, Ohio and Akron, but they must tear through a MAC East that also includes Buffalo and Kent State. Arguably, the top 5 MAC teams are in the East. (Northern Illinois and UB seem like a toss up, NIU escaping with a 2 pt win vs. UB at Home). The MAC is going to canablize itself and the MAC East standing are going to be a giant cluster fuck, meaning one bid for the MAC again. Being ranked behind the MAC and Horizen in RPI really hurts too.

Pretty much everyone I know started with Reds and then moved on the finding their own brand.

I'm woundering if the HIAC pops buyrates buy itself. I watched it a guy only gets the Big 4 ppvs unless one of the others has HIAC.

IIRC, they had a pretty good match back in 2003 (I believe) in a contender's tournament. Course, Taker was still Bikertaker at the time. I thought Rey last w/ Big Show was excellent until the wacked out ending. I think they could tell a good powerful big man vs crafty little man story.

It looks like Kane is just some generic killer, I really wish he spouted some cheesy one liners.

Broncos over Pats. NE is way overated for beating up on ultra weak AFC East and inexperienced Jags. Double digit victory (10-13, not a rout though). Panthers over Bears close game Colts over Steeler, good game for 3 qrts until Colts pull away Seahawks over Skins in a stinker.

Henry hade a very touching poem during the Owen tribute show. -
MAC and CUSA. For me at least. MAC and CUSA seem the most logical. WCC could be considered as well.

Four words: First female world champion. Slightly off topic... But sadly enough, I was delusional enough to want Chyna to have that honor. This was back during Chyna's first IC title run. During Chyna's magapush I was into her, in part b/c were both from Rochester, NY burbs if that makes you feel any better. She's still one of the best fem workers ever.

I do, and I only got into WCW in it's final 18 months. I was a hardcore WWF mark and sticked with in exclusivly and missed the entire NWO good stuff and other mid 90s WCW good stuff I can't reminess about. I just have found memory of stuff like 3 Count, Cruiser tag division, Booker T and Stiener in their primes.
