Truly sad. I was shocked when I first heard it, but after it sunk it was unfortuantly no surprise. I was lucky enough to see him live on numerous occuasions, including some house shows that we're virtually empty. Eddie always put in his best effort even if their was next to no one in the stands. Rest in peace.

I don't think the media is overexposing the issue, it's important and if you look at history we're due for this sort of thing, but the media is overhyping it and doing thier best to make everyone shit thier pants so if it dosn't become a pandemic the issue isn't going to be taken seriously by the public in the future.

I'm rooting for the Sox b/c I've been to Chomisky a few times, but the Astros should be allowed to do what they want at their home park, esp. if they we're allowed to do it earlier in the playoffs. When Angles wanted to give out artifecial noisemakers a few years to enhance their homefield advantage, MLB didn't due a thing. I think it's a similar kind of situation. It's not a neutral site, the home team should be allowed to do what it want's within reason, and closing a retractable roof in weather cool by Houston standards if certaintly with in reason.

The GOP has shown they can run as far a right wing canidate as they want to win. Rudy's socail views are not going to appeal to any Republican outside of the North East.

Any opinions 'bout the Bills @ Saints @ San Antonio? I think the loser's season is over.

I give a thumbs in the middle pointing up for the new Pacers unis. I really like the gold ones w/ blue pinstrips they had, but these are slightly above average too.

I'm not going to get drunk of my ass at 8 on a Friday when I have all night to go out and get shity later with friends.

Oddly enough, and I didn't expect this, but Mick Foley was exactly the same when I saw him at one of these sorts of events. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I agree. I got Foley's autograph at an Indy show about a month back and he seemed really disinterested. I don't hold it against him. He signed for everyone who wanted something (though their was maybe 500 to 1,000 tops). The nicest guy I got an autograph from was JR during his cookbook tour, and I didn't even buy his book. Maven and Hurican were pretty nice too. If a guy takes the time to sign something for me for free I don't really care if they're all nice and cheery.

I have a tape of the show from a dollar store I bought about 5 years ago. I thought the show very much stood the test of time.

Or... character development, but whatever. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Like the show was that realistic to begin with. It's strengh has always been over the top melodrama so I don't know what your bitiching about. On another point, I'd love to see someone re-mix the final couple of minutes w/ the Benny Hill theme instead of the overly dramtic music.

Methinks I won't be missing anything if I go to the Sabres/Wild pre-season game instead.

He could have just been having a bad day or whatever. It seems like a lot of wrestlers get labled as dicks based on one time experiences. But he could be a legitment dickhead so who knows?

Macrossa lot more credit than #80 and off the list between the two.

I'm in grad school for International Studies after getting a BA in History. If you can find a job in your field with a bachelor's than don't wast your time unless you love your field so much you want to be a Prof.

Once Upon a time In China is good if you like martial arts movies.

I agree that this was not one of the better FG efforts, but it not current Simpsons bad by any means. But they did seem like they were just going through the motions. I did like the Caveman and Lou Gerigh (sp?) drawn out jokes, but the Will Farell one did expose most of the flaws of the new episodes. AD was solid, it's really starting to gain momentum after I was ready to swear it off after the first few episodes.

That was my freshman roomate's Aunt's idea for 10 cent beer night. I think they did it a couple of times and the first attempt went well with only a few incidents that stayed in the stands. I belive the Rangers and Indians had a brawl earlier in the season adding to the tension.

You guys beat me to ripping on "huge" Maven news, but I'll watch that when I have nothing better to do, and Maven's was really cool when I meet him so good luck to him on VH1.

Has Greg the Bunny been mentioned yet? -
I'd love to go WM in Chicago, but the odds are I'd have to go with my markish Grandad, and I could'nt get shitfaced in front of him. It'd be like going on date with our parents shaporoning (sp? I'm way wrong I know) the whole time.

Exactly, hell I only paid $5 to my bro who got the webcast, but I can't accept a DQ finish without feeling riped off. This is a great way to further erode WWE's fan base when they F with the fans who care enought to pay for this. DQ finishes in ppv main events are a total rip off. If they wanted this ending, they could have saved this match for the USA Raw.

No reason for Taker to go over clean here, and that long count was totally unessacary. And do they expect pepole to turn in next week b/c they're trying to build suspense about whats in the casket?
-
I hope it's the cemment tomb of Paul Baur.

I suspose, but a Nazi would offend a lot of pepole, but I don't recall WWE ever doing anything anti-Semetic yet, so they might as well get it out of their systemes.
