My team, with a VERY shitty defense and an offense that relies mostly on a great running back and me as the main WR, ends the season (or WILL end the season) at 4-12... eeck. It really sucks. Our defense's average level is like...9 or 10. On the plus side, I had a 59 yard reception last game.

I think the newspaper clipping has been debunked because it was a prop piece and the producers said even though people would no doubt try to read it that it was nothing more than something they found and used. One could assume that the person in the coffin died by hanging himself (which is what I think the clipping said) but other than that I'd just wait to see who was in it and then see if the clipping matches up.

I've been reminding people about Owen all week. It really fucks with the head to realize it was nine years ago. -
I believe the footage helps explain who the eight were that initially survived the crash, so you can see who the O6 tell who 'died'. If you want to know, it's

I think that's Lance Cade's finisher.

I think this is the first time I've ever seen a contendership match where the winner didn't get to face a champion.

I don't think Jin is dead, but I think now that Sun has been through the time on the island she has seen that she has the ability (and now the cash) to stand up to her father. I think her throwing the thing in about Jin really was just to hit him extra hard below the belt.

Fucker could coach an entire baseball team made up of just his sons, and have his daughters play cheerleaders. A few more years and some more boys and he could have a respectable bench and pitching rotation. -

So We've Established That Everyone Can Write Wrestling Matches.

So, I finished the beast. A scant 361 pages and so-very-nearly 110,000 words. I'm mentally exhausted. -
Sam Peckinpah?

That shot in the preview of them is going to be huge. Looks like we find out what happens to the non-Oceanic 6 by the end of the season, but where does that put us for Season 5? There will still be things happening on the island between those left behind and Widmore and such, plus also how Jack falls deeper into whatever made him decide to go back to the island. Season 6 will probably be everybody back on the island for all kinds of crazy shenanigans.

When did they show that?

Someone already came up with that theory on Lostpedia. And I think Locke was supposed to pick the grains of sand, because he apparently already belonged to the island at that point and vice versa, and the sand was from the island.

I'm more concerned with what 'eye muffs' are. I took a three day suspension in fifth grade for punching a sixth grader in the mouth. Him and two others had me pinned against a fence with some physicality and were harassing me and I snapped. I basically uppercutted his jaw and he barely even blinked. It probably hurt my hand worse. His next words were some variant on "you are dead" as I was able to get away from the three and sprint across the playground, only being caught when I hit the hill leading up towards the school. He pinned me down once again but we were caught by the playground supervisor. Separate interviews with the two of us led me to a suspension and he got jack shit for punishment. In fourth grade I threw up on my desk during the Pledge of Allegiance. It covered the entire desk and dripped onto the floor. A similar thing happened in 8th grade, except I made it to a bathroom and vomited nothing but white foam.

So we see the Doc bite the dust around 24 hours after he washes up on the island. We see the rocket take around an hour to hit the island after Regina said it should have been there. But we must remember that when Daniel called the boat for the experiment that on the boat it would have been further in the future than the island thinks it is. Hell, when Naomi/Jack talked to the boat and they said they were sending the chopper, it still took around a day for it to get there, but to the people on the boat it took just as long as it should have taken to get there. I can't wait to see their explanation on where all this "lost time" is coming from or going to, or whatever.

This is legitimately impossible. I find the fact fascinating. They did it on Mythbusters. I think they had to hold their eyes open to do it, but they were trying to prove false that the reason you blinked was so that your eyes didn't shoot out of your head.
