NOT VAL VENIS~!

I didn't like the cruise one, and I never saw Campus Crawl. I kinda faded out somewhere during Season 7 (which was Latin America, I believe)

"Expecting someone else?" was a fantastic heel line for Randy last night.

Are you trying to say a black man couldn't afford a phone booth? -
I loved Road Rules, and actually own the MTV produced books for the first seven seasons (USA 1 & 2, Europe, Islands, Northern Trail, Real World All-Stars, and Australia). Season 2 is still my favorite.

I hope it's the band Slayer, and that she's going south of heaven on Tom Araya. -
I see that Taiga Star has been placed in the gulag.

Why would Snake hate Sonic so much?

No offense to anyone that was confused by the member/moderator thing, but if I don't see all that shit over there <-- in a color other than black, I don't take much notice of it. And if I did see my name or someone else's name in a color I didn't recognize or with a name I didn't recognize, I'd at least look into it through the "View Members" tab or something, or PM someone. Really I don't think she should have been banished either especially since 99% of what she does post is down south to begin with. It just seems like the two sides of this little war (at least the louder ones) are just fighting over which way is better to be an asshole to people. Czech and the others are more sarcastically and humorously childish while the other side is the loudmouthed attention whore army (some of which are placated by the sarcastic childishness of the first group). The Gulag seems to exist less for punishment and more for putting people in a spotlight. The ramifications of the spotlight differ depending on the victim, but it's a spotlight nonetheless. You can be like Leena or Marvin and wallow in the one-ring circus of filth like pigs or you can whine and hope you get your way and be seen like someone that just can't take a joke. Whatever works. And as much as I still hate that Slovakia nonsense, I'm not trying to attack Leena, Marvin, Czech, or anybody with this. These various arguments are somewhere around two or three years old at this point and it is and will always be a complete and total stalemate. Both sides will always think they are correct, will always do things that annoys or upsets the other side, and outside of fleeting glimpses will never truly be at peace with each other until everything explodes.

hopefully by the end of the season things will be more balanced out.

Behind The Match:Inaugural edition
The Amazing Rando replied to King Kamala's topic in The WWE Folder
1. Do you think WWE properly handled the storyline for this match? There was only so much that could be done to keep both parties happy, and making Shawn the asshole heel was perfect for it. It also EASILY (as if it wasn't easy enough to see already) who was walking out the winner. 2. Do you think Shawn Michaels' overselling helped or hindered the match? I noticed at the time, but only fleeting (it would have actually helped if i was watching on television rather than actually being in the building for it. There was no way the match was going to be some huge classic, so HBK overselling like a maniac did nothing but make the smarter fans laugh and the casual fans pop for Hogan's offense. 3. Has this match affected the way you look at either Hogan or Michaels as workers or as people? Shawn's always been a bit of an asshole, so him trying to carry Hogan to a ***** match a) wasn't going to happen and b) wouldn't have meant much anyway. It was Hogan, All-American Hero, defeating Shawn Michaels in Washington DC. That's all there is to it. Whether it had anything to do with a potential Hogan/Austin match is a moot point because I don't think ANY casual fan would have looked at Hogan 6 months later and laughed at him for losing to HBK. Hell, they could have just had nobody bring it up (like usual) and it would have just been Hulkamania vs. The Rattlesnake with just their names and a big event behind it. 4. What impact, if any, do you think this match has had on their legacies? Nothing on their legacies, because the match wasn't all that important. It wasn't like Hogan could continue on to some new feud and HBK was back to being a face again the very next night. The only thing it has done is give us memories of the storyline itself and how hilarious it was (in both good and bad ways). 5. Will we see another match between two wrestlers of this caliber (popularity wise) again? Have we seen one already, perhaps? Of course we will. It might not be Hogan/Austin, or Hogan/Anyone for that matter, but in five years we might see another Rock/Austin type of moment, where two guys who have wrestled each other for a few years and both slowly grew in popularity have some epic showdown for immortality. If things go the way the WWE seems to want them to go, Cena/Batista might be a huge draw next year at Wrestlemania. Just gotta keep Batista healthy and Cena over as a face and that could very well be a "dream match", although it won't be anything like a Hogan/Austin would be. -
1. What have we done that you like? There appears to be, on the surface at least, a desire to try and make improvements (even if not everyone agrees with them) and to listen to the fair majority of TSM regulars (besides the total loons). I think dealing with Mike and Mole for the past however-long-it-has-been has caused things to really go down the shitter. I do not even think it is either of their faults. Mike is just sort of "that admin guy" that keeps everything afloat technically and nobody ever gave Mole any respect because, well, he's Mole. I'm not even trying to bash the guy, but when you come into a position of power it helps if people care enough to voice their opinions and openly discuss improvements rather than looking at the person in charge and going "eck, it's Mole, I don't want to deal with that fruitcake." Me and Czech certainly have gone around the wagon a few times (well, fairly, he's gone around it while I sat in the wagon and got burned to death) but I think everything the past week or so has been much better overall. Whether it's the "Maff Clique" or the simple fact that it is not Mole in charge, there seems to be more LIFE around here (in the "more activity" way, not the "riotous rebelling rage" way) and things just seem to get done. Could it be that nothing really got done around here for the past year or so? I won't go that far, but there just was not the same sort of community around here that seems to be (re-)building now. 2. What have we done that you wish we hadn't? I don't give a shit about the number of moderators around here. I think everyone with a colored name knows that if something happens and it's hated on by the uncolored folk, there's a whole other board they can go, if they have to, and bitch (where the mods here would be bound to see it since most of them are over there anyway) and there is fantastic feedback that does not just turn into a bunch of whiny bitches fighting. So no, I don't think anything has been done wrong. The re-combining of that middle section of CE/Sports/MMA with the rest of the board sometimes messes with me, but I don't hate it. 3. Is there anything you'd like us to do? Make Leena stop using the name "Slovakia" in her goofy posts. It's not witty, cool, or otherwise, and makes me want to run a rusty rake (alliteration) across her asshole. 4. Would you invite people here to expand the community? Of course. 5. Are you optimistic that we're not going to be fucking terrible at this? Most all of you in charge have had some sort of modding experience (be it here or elsewhere) and so I am quite optimistic that things will be just fine if not better than they have been. This place doesn't feel like a total clusterfuck anymore. 6. Chicken tenders or chicken fingers? Fingers.

I play for the Manitoba Maniacs. James Rando, lvl 6 WR and Tony Mazon, lvl 7 OT I would say to try and trade for me but I don't know if the FC has anything they can give in my places.
-
My OT finally got a pancake, and my WR continues to "struggle" due to being on a team with a better starting receiver. I'm averaging only 7 yards a pass and like 2 yards per carry. I wasn't even put on kick return duty this game, and nobody else on my team made any more of a dent than I would have. I think I'll be a strong force on the Smartmarks FC once my contract runs out.

Seeing this live, I always point out a bloody Hogan posing with fans in the aisle after the match, going so far as to pretty much hug people with blood on his arms. -
It also happened in 2001 with Kane/Taker vs. The Two Man Power Trip
-
Well then, he must be really good at it.

There's a dude in my conference that has 52 pancakes. Must be a guy that alpha tested to get his stats up as high as they seem to be.
