It's not that football wasn't working out for him. He just got injured.

i thought it was against the rules of the gods to mention that old front page.

I hope Mayweather does the Slice Drop. It's not like Melina's done it since that one time.

Well, for at least tonight, I'll give him benefit of the doubt.

Yeah, the roster has 64 guys on it right now, and 42 of them are CPU. I think it might come down to people having two players to cover positions. Most positions only have one human player in them, except for G, QB, DT, DE, and LB, those have between two and four each, respectively. I don't know how many "start" in each position, but if I move over to the team next season I'd be more than willing to ride the pine more often and take the field late in games when the starters start to get tired, and ask to start like one out of every three games or something just so my players don't get too far behind in the whole XP/Skills growth average.

Is that the first time they've made mention of Yokozuna actually being Samoan?

He had this look on his face like "...in the palm of my hand..." and did look quite touched.

    Random Thoughts 3-27-08 to 5-28-08

In all fairness, Knox was using it long before Kennedy started using it Steviekick and I actually had a long discussion about the seemingly rampant use of the Reverse STO and it's variations in pro wrestling. It just feels like I've seen way too many people using it right now as a signature or finish. Up until the last few years, it was very rare to see one wrestler use a move of another as a signature. I mean, there are always overlaps (DDTs, certain suplexes, powerbombs and chokeslams, etc), but when guys are winning matches with similar moves and they are being put over as a match finisher it is just kinda bizarre.

    WWE Smackdown (3/28/08)

The previous match should have had "NOT GENE SNITSKY~!!" superimposed on the screen, complete with Val Venis facial expressions from last week's Raw.

Hey Ced. I know I can't get on the team until next season starts (which I favor for more than monetary reasons and will be willing to take the paycut at that point). But, can I be co-GM? *begs*

TSM Town Hall: Legacy of a Great Match at Mania

I think Brock was "made" from his match with Angle. I mean, he missed the SSP, but anyone could see that he had the ability to do it, and even though we never saw it again he still proved he could bust it out in front of a large audience. Had he never attempted it and still won, I think he would have been still a fairly blah champion until the stretcher match with Show where he dove off the huge lift. That spot really put Brock over the top, almost like Lashley throwing himself through the cage, but so much better visually.

    The WWE Tag Team Division

Does no one remember the HBK/Cena team from last year? They were both tag champs and one was gunning for the other's world title. It really sucked. WWE could easily create competitive divisions without having to double-dip guys (except in very rare occasions for the second tier titles). If Jeff and Matt Hardy want to wrestle for the tag titles, they have enough 'seniority' to be able to do it, and if Jeff or Matt happen to hold a secondary singles belt, they can defend that too. Honestly though, I'd rather see a few core teams that CONCENTRATED on winning and keeping the tag team titles without worrying about the singles belts at all. Makes the titles more important.

The OAO LIVE Impact thread (3.27.08)

It wasn't like he was enjoying himself and holding up a "I (heart) Samoa Joe" sign. Nobody would have even known if they hadn't thrown him on screen.

    Black People Slowdown

"Black People Slowdown" sounds like a right-wing morning radio show or the name of a group Wyclef Jean would put together.
  16. He'll probably have to work that day and won't be able to ask for it off.
  17. Marvin wishes he had twelve friends, and possibly that he could die at the age of 33. He's batting a thousand on that "never tempted by the flesh of a woman" thing though.

James Rando and Tony Mazon, respectively with the Manitoba Maniacs in Canadian Pro West. My current team is paying me 1200 a day plus a 10,000 bonus. It's swank. And i'm only a lvl 1. There is a post in the forums about how much to pay a player.

    Grand Slams in the WWE

Not the CW title. Maybe if he would have won the TV Title back in the day. Rey also won the Tag Titles with RVD and won the WCW Tag Titles with 3 guys as well. Rey has actually held tag titles with more people than Kane.

    Grand Slams in the WWE

How about a Raw Triple Crown and a Smackdown Triple Crown. The ECW title is by itself and the CW title is defunct. So each brand has a world, secondary, and tag championship. Any wrestlers that were considered Grand Slam before the split can still be referred to as such, and it would have the same sort of "legacy" that being a Brand Triple Crown Champ would be now. So... 1. You can be a WWF Grand Slam Champ by having won the World, IC, Tag, and Euro titles. 2. You can be a WCW Grand Slam Champ by having won the World, US, Tag, and TV titles. 3. The Hardcore and CW championships don't count toward the status due to their niche rosters. 4. You can be a Raw Triple Crown Champ by having won the World Championship on Raw (or having the World Championship and being drafted to Raw), IC, and Raw Tag. 5. You can be a Smackdown Triple Crown Champ by having won the World Championship on Smackdown (or having the World Championship and being drafted to SD), US, and SD Tag. 6. If you won any title....WWF World, WCW World (now SD Championship - I don't care what you say), IC, WCW US, or WWF or WCW Tag...before Survivor Series 2001, then those championship reigns count under the Triple Crown. If you won the title during the InVasion, it still counts toward whatever brand's Triple Crown it is on now. 7. Should the current IC or US champions switch brands, the Triple Crown would change (so someone that has won the US title on Smackdown but not the IC title could not win the SD Triple Crown until they won the IC title). 8. Should someone win all six championships (which right now I think is only Edge) then they can be called the "Double Triple Crown Champion" or something similar. Edit: 6a. If you won the Undisputed Championship (so...Jericho, HHH, Hogan, Undertaker, Rock, and Brock) then you technically held both World Championships and it counts for both brands Triple Crowns now. Only Jericho really benefits from it, as he hasn't won the WWF/E championship any other way, but was a WCW champ during the InVasion). If he would win the US title he'd be second only to Edge as to have held all six Brand Championships. Brock would also benefit, because he still technically won both titles before becoming SD Exclusive and having the WCW/Current SD World Championship stripped from him and handed to HHH.

You get credit for 30 a season, a total of 850 points (50 for the first 10, 25 for the second 10, 10 for the last 10). My link is in one of my posts this thread, I just edited the first one I found.
