Man, Orton is bloody well F-U-C-K-E-D. I have a better chance of winning the world championship than he does at this point.

Here's my question. If you're already putting together a relaunch of Wrestling/Sports/Pop Culture for the site, where exactly would this stuff fit in? If you put it in an "Editorials" section, all on its own, then TSM has to make it worthwhile to keep that section up with articles that, somehow, don't fall into those first three categories. Politics could work (Thumbtack's "Red vs. Blue" essay would be a nice standard) and maybe some discussions on psychology can fall into place, but what else would be put in that hodgepodge folder to make it worthwhile? And by worthwhile, I mean "enticing enough for a user to visit the section repeatedly." There are some facets of pop culture that aren't necessarily "pop culture" as they fall into other categories. For instance, talking about whether or not Homer Simpson is a good role model for humanity is based on a pop culture subject (The Simpsons) while actually getting into more of a sociological discussion. It falls into the sociology realm better than the realm of television and it wouldn't look right sitting next to a review of the latest episode of "Lost". (sorry about the double post)

Simpsons Season 7 DVD Box set
The Amazing Rando replied to Failed Bridge's topic in Television & Film
Okay. I agree. Though you could also say he fell asleep cause he always falls asleep in church. Though that is doubtful as the reasoning behind this particular sleep. -
^^ what he said. While i'm not exactly political, I like the idea of it branching out to cover whatever topics writers so choose.

She wouldn't have to say anything polite at all if she had more dick in her mouth.

I haven't heard anything about Jason Biggs recently, though. How does Ashlee collapse? What's so physically rough about fake singing? Just blame it on the drummer and move on.

I think this man needs to turn the static down in his head and maybe he'll be better able to express himself in a manner that fits proper use of grammar, puncuation, and quite possibly even the English language itself. KEEP REACHING FOR THE STARS, STEVIE!

Simpsons Season 7 DVD Box set
The Amazing Rando replied to Failed Bridge's topic in Television & Film
1. Homer's Enemy really did showcase alot of what was wrong with Homer Simpson's personality and included some of the bizarre almost meta-references of him going to space, winning a Grammy, meeting presidents, and other such things that a man of his qualities should have never had happen, but at the same time Frank Grimes is SO over the top playing a "please love me" character that they nearly cancel out with Grimes being his own downfall. Grimes tried so hard for recognition that it killed him when he finally snapped, while the episode makes Homer out to be uncaring towards the guy, why would Homer care about him in the first place? It's not Homer's fault that he got to meet presidents and had the opportunity to go to space or even win a Grammy. Homer's life has been quite "right place, right time" including him getting a job at the plant, while Grimes has had the opposite. Hell, Grimes gets pissed cause Homer was eating lobsters (that he bought just for that occasion) and that Bart owned a factory (didn't he buy it for like 3 bucks?) when, had Grimes NOT flipped out and took a better look, he would have found out that he bought them just for the dinner and that the factory was a piece of shit empty warehouse. Blame everything you want on Homer, but Frank Grimes lost his mind in that emotional explosion at the end, and it led to his demise. It was very much a "right place, right time" vs. "wrong place, wrong time" episode. And Homer does have redeeming qualities, as seen in episodes like Lisa's Pony, Lisa The Vegetarian, Homer vs. Lisa And The 8th Commandment, Saturdays Of Thunder, Hurricanne Neddy, When Flanders Failed, etc. Sometimes it takes some big shit to go down and some hard judgment on his part to get to the redemption, but he's made it there. Grimes simply went from being a hard-luck character to being an attention whore in the span of the 22 minute episode, whereas Homer's line at the end of the episode (and "whatever happened to that guy?" remark in a later episode) that Homer is the community's comic relief, and has been for so long that nobody even questions it anymore, and when someone DOES question it, they seem almost stupid. 2. What about episodes like Lisa The Greek that showcase a Super Bowl, regardless of how they edit it? There are a few episodes that put them in the real world that came long before that one. -

Murdoch Getting Pushed, Cade Getting Depushed
The Amazing Rando replied to a topic in The WWE Folder
Yep, I'd mark out about a billion-fold if Murdoch came out to the ring to "Let's Hear It For The Boy" and did that little bizarre walk with the finger-snap as his taunt. -
According to "View all new posts" and a little subtraction, it seems the 2 millionth post was either made by CM Funk or MisterJerk. Not sure on that though.

What is the point of giving Batista and Rey the tag titles? Are MNM going to Raw? And if so...WHY? Because Melina wants the women's belt? MNM already got destroyed by Kane/TBS *once*, I doubt they want to try their hand again, because going by the characters of the Raw Tag Champs, they are so physically dominating as a team that it would take nothing sort of guns and/or roses to defeat them. Who will Batista/Rey lose them too...and why? Unless MNM get them back on the first Smackdown after Xmas, then it makes no sense for them to even have them, UNLESS Rey is going to somehow turn heel and try to challenge for the World Title.

Big Show could have started in the Chamber too, to avoid any problems with the booth.
