WWE General Discussion - November 2007
The Amazing Rando replied to Craig Th's topic in The WWE Folder
Oh boy, I think you just called the finish to the match. Speaking of Teddy Long, maybe they can have him return to being a manager and re-form his memorable "The Black People" stable. The WWE.com thing says that if HBK "attempts" the SCM he'll be DQed. I can see him, groggy, climbing up in the corner and having Vince ring the bell on him and say that he was in the position to "tune up the band". -
At the very end of that show they just point blank asked him again, and after a second of silence he started to laugh in that way that was like "yeah, I just can't really say anything about it" and everyone was like "well, we know what THAT means" and kinda left it at that. He never said a definitive date or anything. Who was the smarky redhead that they had on there? Was that an O&A intern or just some smart ass wrestling fan? Sam, former intern turned assistant producer. During the Vince Limo angle, they did bits where Sam spoke on the angle as though it was real (with horrible realism) while O&A tried to debunk it all.

OAO 11/05 Raw Thread...... no longer thinking about "Y2J"

I didn't slow-motion it or anything, but my initial reaction was that he was trying to hold his head (or an invisible hat) onto the rest of him. Hence why I dubbed it the "Charlie Chaplin Sell" -
The four things my local area is known for ... Lefty Grove, William H Macy, Eddie Deezen, and Greg Garcia.

To be fair, it's pretty rare that you see the so-called "leader" of the team actually being a leader and being all "you go in, now you, oh crap, he's out, you go!" If anything, you pretty much can assume the leader will be there at the end. -
That's my favorite scene. Also anything involving the Penguin pilot.

King says he'd rather be on Umaga's SurSer team than against it, when Umaga was the first one out last year after smacking RVD and Sabu with TV monitors. He was almost a non-factor, lasting less than a minute. -

He lost to Jeff and Rey, two crazy over faces. Sure, he was teaming with Finlay, but he's over with the net crowds and fairly over as a heel.....AND at least there was a decent reason (the two feuds coming together in a big televised match). Could Finlay have taken the pin, sure? But in the end it doesn't really matter. -

How is Nash is that bad of shape? He looked pretty fit when he attacked Angle the other week on Impact. You can tell his knees are still a major issue with him everytime he walks. He's far from mobile - was he ever though? But I would be one to think he's worse than ever these days. He had some bursts of speed back in the day. The opening of the WMXI main event he is almost scary fast for that first little bit during the rope running sequence. I don't think I'd ever seen him move that fast, even if it was for only a short time. -
The SWF has always had periods of unbalanced heels and faces. It just means that the people in storylines might have to work a little harder.

Oh you dirty girl. After this trilogy, I have to agree with other people in the theory that Cartman is gay. There's no doubt about in my mind now. It's subconscious. Really, he just wants to be humiliatingly correct. He wants to embarrass you in just how wrong you are and how right he is. And to him, the most embarrassing thing he could have done to Kyle was make him suck his balls. Still, he does have some subconscious homosexuality. Also, Cartman was pretty much dressed as the pope, so a jew sucking the figurative Pope's balls (or the King's balls, or whatever) is hilarious in and of itself.

But, Sting could in kayfabe believe that if if his partner does win the title, that he could have the first shot by saying "hey, if it wasn't for me you wouldn't have the title." Also, it's not completely a 2 on 1 handicap match if both Angle and Nash are fighting each other for their own side's victory because Sting should know even better than Kurt that Nash can't be trusted. So basically, it's a Fatal Four-way with tag stipulations. It's been done plenty of times before, and hopefully they can book it correctly. I don't really want to see Nash involved in a title feud, but I could see him eating the pin if they do indeed want to give the belt back to Sting (or the new guy) leading to Angle and Nash having a short-and-sweet battle on Impact for the number one contendership AFTER Sting (or the new guy) defends against the other.
