Because Raw is the better show and he doesn't see the Big Gold Belt v2.0 as "WCW"s, even if some fans see it as such. Also, HHH's Belt is on Raw, which is the "A Show" whether anyone likes it or not.

Hogan used to do that in the WWF ALL the time. When I first started watching wrestling I didn't think he could walk off from an interview normally. He did the same thing at Summerslam 90 talking about a water ski, and I think at Rumble 90 as well. I really need to see these...especially the motorcycle one.

Didn't ABC air "Saving Private Ryan" a few years ago with Eisner at the beginning basically saying "yes, this has bad language and graphic violence in it. deal with it."

Sure, if you can explain how the belt gets to Angle in time for the Mania title change to mean something. Yeah, right....like it's going to "mean something". Smackdown has Survivor Series, a december PPV (apparently), Rumble, and No Way Out before WM. Hell, for all intents and purposes JBL could keep the belt on PPV and lose it in two weeks to Booker after some crazy ass interference at SurSer. Getting the belt on Angle isn't hard, but then to build Angle vs. Taker (which was a comedy feud last time) and make it into a *ahem* serious storyline is going to be the part they are going to screw up. The title change at WM (if it happens) really won't mean anything except "hey look, now Taker is champion". In all honestly they need to have a long term championship reign with Angle, that way it erases the stigma of the JBL reign.

Funny thing is, when I watched last night I was thinking to myself "I wonder what casual fans and NON wrestling fans think of this show"? Then that came to mind. Shit, I loved that show. They need to bring it back and show it again.

It would work great if Burt played Boss in a similiar manner to the way Gleason played Justice. Because I just am having Smokey & The Bandit flashbacks right now. East bound and down...

Well alot of it is the writing, and some of it is lack of credible storylines. They don't have a Lesnar or a Goldberg to throw at each other. They can't do a Taker/Kane situation, Trish is just "there" as the bitch that gets into everyone's business (but mostly Lita's), Jericho is sitting on the cusp of the main event, as he seemingly always is. The only wrestler they are planning to "push to the top" is Randy Orton, and he has already had a half-assed attempt at being there. Even the guys that have been around for years seem like nothing but "flavors of the month". Look at the Dudleyz...stale as hell, even though they can be truly effective heels (the interaction with the crowd being a big part of it) but everything they could do to be as they were in the past has been taken from them. The Dudz are just that...duds. There is no true "big name" tag team left anymore in either brand's division. That is pathetic. The sad thing is that if they worked at it they could use alot of the wrestlers that they can't do anything with and create a very good tag scene, but they don't. "Tag teams don't sell shows"... well not by themselves they don't. Shows are built on the products of the whole. Vince needs to realize that PPVs aren't always sold on the main event, and a solid undercard can make up for everything. I would rather watch a great 2 hours leading up to a crappy ME than a crappy 2 hours leading up to a perfect ME. I'm sure I'm not the only one. The rosters are depleted, weak, and even unknown. Sadly, they need to make new stars, but it's very hard to bring in NEW fans with new stars. They need to step up their advertising agenda and look at where they need to go to sell their product, which is their wrestlers. That right there is a big reason TNA isn't as well-known as it could be. The fans that watched in 97-99 see guys like Jeff Jarrett and just don't know what to do. I have talked to many that were fans during that age, and they LAUGH IN MY FACE when I say "Oh yeah, well Double J is a World Champion". Same thing for Raw and Smackdown. Sure, some fans (especially WCW fans) would love to hear the names of Jericho, Benoit, and even Booker T thrown around at the top of the card, but when they hear John Cena, Snitsky, La Resistance, Luther Reigns, and BRADSHAW WORLD CHAMPION... they can't help but go "waaaaaa??" Why are they making these blunders? 1) We say we want new stars, but for the most part what we want is for the independent scene to get more recognition. Most want to see guys like Low-Ki, AmDrag, and others have their time to shine in the WWE, but instead we get the new stars of Snitsky, Hussan, and other guys who from all accounts aren't exactly GOOD, but HEY...they are NEW. Just what we "wanted". 2) The "homegrown" idea. Vince needs to look in the mirror and realize that if money is his sole purpose, he has to use what works, no matter what ANYONE says. He has (sort of) started to give the outside a good push with Benoit and even Booker T as of late, but they are still way behind guys like HHH, Orton, and even Bradshaw. Vince has a MYRIAD of options at his fingertips and he touches none of them because they aren't "his". The biggest example of this is WarGames. 3) Booking & Writing Favoritism. There were stories all this year of the writers not finding anything for guys like Rey Mysterio and other very talented workers to do, but it seems to me that the big reason is that if the writers know what Vince wants, they give it to him. Why should they waste their time working on a long drawn out Rey Mysterio storyline if Vince is just going to veto it. Instead, they say hey "what if Lita gets pregnant!" and we get stuck with that for months. Number 3 leads into Number 2 which leads into Number 1. Let the writers write what they want and throw it against the wall. Chances are it's going to stick more times than it's going to fall off. Let the writers talk to the workers and see what THEY want and work that in. It's not rocket science and it would not even take that much time each week, though if it is taking the writers until 30 minutes before Raw to get a show done, then they need more help than that. As always, I throw my hat into the ring to be a WWE writer.

Ahhhh Hell No. WWE can not keep doing that. Also, it would completely nullify everything they did with Kane, which is stupid beyond reproach. Like I said in the other thread, I wouldn't mind seeing Kane do a run-in and help eliminate Snitsky. Also, on the front of JBL coming to Raw...It would be different, but he wouldn't last long on the HHH Show. He's a different breed of heel than HHH and I would only want to see JBL on Raw if HHH went to Smackdown....but that would never happen since they are building to HHH/Orton and Angle/Taker as the WMXXI title matches.

I thought the blurred out Snagglepuss and Elmer Fudd dancing were pretty hilarious...even though it was done on the Simpsons with Huckleberry Hound. "I was soooooo gay, and I couldn't tell anybody!"

But it's been shown that seemingly no matter whose team wins that everybody is looking to go after HHH. 1) HHH was paranoid that all the faces would give themselves title shots. 2) Snitsky said he would come after it 3) Edge has made it PERFECTLY clear that the belt is what he wants 4) Batista seems on the fence about it. Sure, HHH can go through and beat each of those guys, thus burying them all, but... ...but.... ...well shit.

I am actually hoping for a KAAAAANE! run-in during the Raw SS Match, as it would be somewhat unexpected and I bet it would get a huge pop.

I'd definitely rather get hit by the dodgeball. As for bad recess stories, I was suspended for 3 days back in fifth grade for punching a 6th grader in the face. The punch did not faze the kid at all, and had the teacher not stepped in I probably would have gotten ripped apart by him and his friends, who were fucking with me in the first place. It was, looking back on it, that harmless kind of put down bullshit that every school bully does...name-calling, some shoving, all that shit... but I have a short ass fuse, and I let the kid fucking have it. DIDN'T EVEN FLINCH. Before the punch, I probably might have walked away after a few punches in the arm or something, but this got me pinned down in the grass with him standing over me and his friends playing gaurd. In the end, I got the 3 days.... they got NOTHING. Absolutely NOTHING. To this day, I see that kid sometimes around and I get really pissed off.

This is my favorite Downhome. Also, I thought JBL's "Booker T only won the WCW Championship because I wasn't in WCW" laughingly bad and yet at the same time completely awesome. It was EXACTLY what he needed to say at that moment, even though had Bradshaw been in WCW he would have been nothing.

They wouldn't put him on Raw, I don't think. He wouldn't "fit" with the roster, at least to the WWE standards. Like I said, he would end up being a cruiserweight killer and could very well be a decent edition to the US division.

I echo this. Jesus titty-fucking christ. WWE - I don't care how much you hossify this guy up...but let him keep the C4. That shit is a bonified Cruiserweight Killer, and that more than likely means that if he ever gets to the big show, he'll be the new A-Train.
