Major Miscommunication With Smackdown: "We didn't think putting a black man on a symbol that strikingly resembles a cross would be a bad idea, atleast...we didn't think about it at the time. This is Kansas for crying out loud!" Smackdown was put in a bind when they could not find John Cena in the arena. After a quick phone conversation, it was revealed he didn't think he would be needed for the show, even with a somewhat high-profile feud going on with him as a centerpeice. Luckily, he was outside a Big Lots only a few hours away, and a camera crew quickly rushed to get a hastily put together promo for Cena that ended up airing on the show. Everyone could tell it was hastily put together as he rhymed "Booker T" with "Booker Stephanie", though everyone had a good laugh and it has since been swept under the Creative Rug. No word as of yet if Cena was following dress code procedures while at the Big Lots, though he did say 50 cents a foot on chain and another dollar off each of his "collectable" Master Locks. You're asking a company to research that didn't even know what they were going to do for a show at 12:30 in the afternoon ON THE DAY OF THE SHOW! God, that just's appalling. You would think if it was YOUR JOB to write a show or two a week you could figure it out at little bit before 8 hours before showtime. EDIT: Maybe GreatOne meant the public in general, simplying generalizing that the people that use this messageboard fall into a demographic of people that seems like they would have been sick of it 24 hours after it happened. Or maybe he's just waaaaay out there. Who knows?

Wait, I thought Kane was stalking Lita, and just wanted her to consent to sex, hence the "yes, Kane, I'll do it" while standing over the downed Matt Hardy. Now, that isn't exactly love-making, it's more "giving in" than "rape". Rape in and of itself is an incredibly traumatizing thing, and Lita didn't seem like that after the incident happened. She might have been quiet or whatever, but not for long. Basically, she gave in to having sex to save her boyfriend, and they did it. It wasn't the true definition of rape at all. There was consent, it just wasn't attained in the best of manners.

Greetings WWE Folder-ites, it's time for a little Lively Discussion! Tonights Topic: Pick one brand (and only one brand) and choose one thing you would like to change about it that you believe would make it better. If you want to do both brands that is fine, but the one change for each must be different. Remember, the WWE *really* wants us to see the shows as two seperate entities, so we have to start seeing them as such. Remember, when you answer try not to just simply throw out a one-liner. This is DISCUSSION. If you want to debate another post, do so. If you want to add to another post with your own ideas, do that too. Take the criticism and use it to your advantage. Stay with the topic, and it can be anything you wish to change having to do with the general runnings of the show all the way to the roster and how they are shown on TV. Hopefully this will catch on a bit, and I'll be back with my ideas later (or sooner depending on what kind of responses I get).

I have come to the point not to care WHY the reaction is there (other than X-pac heat), and as long as someone, man or woman, gives a shit about him...that's fine with me. And frankly, I don't care whether or not Orton is getting cheered cause he's against Trips, I'd be more worried if he was getting dead silence against Trips. That's the WORST thing that can happen. Some disjointed heat is better than none at all.

I was only saying "No" to trades because I personally don't like the idea. If you think it could help, that's your opinion, but it drives me bonkers. It needs to be the old way... let a contract "run out" every few months or something, add that into a character's storyline or something. It could work well.

Well, it could always be rigged. I'd just rather see Benoit/HHH headline SurSer instead of TT.

Trading: No. It is, at it's essence, supposed to be Smackdown against Raw. I love the idea, they played it up during the draft and a little with Booker T, but now it's a dead issue again. That is exactly what I would change about how things are run. I want it to be a damn war. Sure, let the wrestlers all have their feuds, but keep Eric and Teddy's mind on beating the other guy. Have them make new rules and decisions that are "for the best interest of the brand" and not "for the best interest of So and So". It wouldn't be hard to do it, but apparently the Creative Team lacks the talent, skill, and finesse to pull such a storyline off. They couldn't do the Invasion properly, so I don't give them much hope for this, but damn it would be sweet to actually see a version of how the Invasion could have gone.

Oh yes, it has to be Benoit even though he was in one backstage skit the whole show. And NO sign of the tag champions whatsoever... Wait...the best part.... HHH and Evolution spend the night chasing Orton when they could have found and beaten up HBK AND Benoit AND Orton...because that would, ya know, make sense and stuff. This storyline is just SCREAMING for HHH/Benjamin at TT so that HHH can finally get his win over him. If HHH puts Benjamin over during the match, then he is on his way to stardom as his pops are already pretty loud. I mean ... look at the four guys... HBK - busy with the X/J feud Orton - busy with Flair (and now out of the running anyway) Edge - injured or something Benoit - lost in purgatory. Benoit was given no screen time (hardly) tonight despite the fact that both Benjamin and Benoit have never lost to HHH. I mean, if HHH wants to be the true dick that he is, he can take out Benjamin at TT, Benoit at Survivor Series...and then have a VERY good storyline leading into the Rumble with: Benoit, Benjamin, and Orton...along with guys like Edge, Jericho, and HBK looking like possible Rumble winners because all can have viable storylines with HHH, though the first three are the main ones and Orton is liable to be the one to get the ME Spot, but it still makes the uppercard look alot better than it was last year at this time. Still, they could play off the history between HHH and Benoit, Benjamin, and Orton leading into the Rumble (Benoit's win last year, Orton coming close but showing more fire than ever, and Benjamin being a thorn in HHH's side even after losing to him at TT). It's a flawless set-up, and it seems gauranteed that SD will have almost NOTHING besides Angle vs. UT planned for WM, and those guys are too far above the Rumble to compete in it at this point, especially after looking at the last three winners.
