Damn, quite the discussion occured here didn't it, and it seems something positive came out of it to boot. Wonderful. I'm glad to stand on both sides of the fence. I do throw out one-liners alot, but I do try to bring the content when I feel the need to, which is getting more and more frequent.

Well it's kinda sad that Batista is the tiniest guy on there and the Undertaker is just crowding everybody out like the demon on the mountain from the finale of Disney's Fantasia.

I stated in the thread that i was in shock. Cause, I was... I mean, I didn't expect to come online and read "Bossman passes away". Main Event wrestler or simple jobber...whatever... i mean, of all the guys you could have listed that would have died next, Bossman isn't one you'd pick out. So i was in shock. I don't want to hit the melodrama button, but he was an entertainer. Maybe someone has a connection to Bossman like many had connections to Cobain. I mean, I don't want to piss of CWM (if he's even around anymore), cause even I was like "shit, Kurt's dead" when it happened...but again, that's all the farther I could really take it. I didn't sit around and listen to his music and ponder his life or anything, and same with Bossman. I looked back and said "You know....such and such moments were really cool and it sucks that he's dead." and I think I would do that for anyone that I didn't have a really close personal connection too. Honestly, of all wrestling deaths...Owen's hit me the hardest. It's not that I knew the guy or ever even met him, but he was one of the first few that got me into wrestling and was a person that I always wanted to see win and get the upperhand on everybody whether he was a heel or a face. That was as far as melodramatic as it gets, although everytime I see clips from Raw Is Owen I tear up a little bit, because i was watching OTE when it happened and when it was announced, and up till that time it was the closest I've ever been to actually witnessing someone's death. It just brings back those memories of being a mark (i was 16 at the time and wasn't online at all in the IWC) and just being completely in shock of such a thing happening and i just didn't know how to take it. I couldn't just be "meh" toward any death, because I am by nature an emotional person.

Bret Hart: I hope the people watching in five or ten years look into the ring and say 'hey, those guys are good, but they're no Bret Hart". paraphrased, but still an awesome quote.

but each guy can logically win a fall... 3 guys... 3 falls... and the last isn't really a "fall" since it's a ladder match and TECHNICALLY whomever gets the belt should keep it at that point. I'm not trying to rag on you, but I was just trying to get a logical answer. Not a "one guy will win one fall and blah blah" but a "The following contest is a two out of three falls match where-in the first fall will be contested under triple threat rules, the second fall will be contested under Falls Count Anywhere rules, and the third fall shall be a LADDER MATCH! Now, the superstar who is pinned during the first fall WILL be eliminated, and from there the first of the remaining two to reach two falls will be the INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPION" Something like that
-
I only put them in my match with La Rez just to kinda put an end to that little story and give Rhyno/Tajiri the tag belts finally...then Benoit could move on to do whatever.
-
I'm not talking how you would BOOK it...but how the true RULES of the match were to be explained.

"Kurt Angle is RAPING Big Show of his dignity" - Michael Cole

Angle Fudd... You wascally nasty bastawd....huhuhuhuhuhuhuh
-
I would assume for this match that whomever loses the first match would be eliminated and then if the winner of the first match wins the second then there would be no ladder match (but of course...that never happens).

Another reason to love the Piss.

It (Velocity) got beat by a WWPV? Makes sense I guess, as that show does appeal to a wider audience, cause hey...who doesn't love a crazy ass car chase?

I heard a local DJ basically saying that while he has heard songs he liked off their more recent albums (i.e. in the last 8 or so years), none of the albums were "good". I don't know how many other people think that, but it seemed as he took callers they all agreed.

not where I was (sports bar). Only me and one other person really cheered for Brock, and it was celebrating in front of a few dozen others when he won.

From the Taboo Tuesday page...a quote from Chris Jericho... "I’m hoping to see Funaki challenge for the World Heavyweight Championship.” gold.
