Robin Williams: Live on Broadway
The Amazing Rando replied to The Mandarin's topic in Television & Film
Nah, my favorite "Live on Broadway" quote is one still repeated by me and my friends 2 years after we first saw it, and is about those ab muscle belts that they used to sell on TV. "All you have to do is strap it to your head, turn it on full blast, and repeat over and over... I. WILL. NOT. BUY. STUPID. SHIT. FOR. NO. REASON!" -
"...you were cheering for every act of humiliation Austin committed against me. But what you enjoyed most was when Austin forced me to the ring. He made me get down on my knees. He made me beg. He made me...he made me cry. He made me...urinate myself!" The week after the infamous BANG 3:16 incident, right before Shane let it be known that he hired back Stone Cold Steve Austin and then I believe that led into the SurSer screwjob of Austin. Shane's speech during that promo was awesome, too. I'm watching it now on Best of Raw Volume 1.

That's fucking WORKRATE right there. Who needs Benoit, Hart, or that silly puro nonsense... give me Steve Austin and "Steiner" (apparently in the match both merged together into a giant middle finger) in a 60 minutes Stone Cold Salute Iron Man Match. EDIT: Fuck...who needs DNA when you got YNA. He's your daddy.

^ now I won't be able to get that out of my head. not that I mind persay but shit, that's a long song.

Why do I get the feeling that this action figure would be best packaged with an Ahmed Johnson one.
-
Ones that I don't think have been mentioned: Eagles - Desperado Neil Young - My My Hey Hey Tool - Eulogy Bob Marley - Redemption Song
-
So? I mean, it accomplishes what it's supposed to. Nearly every song has some sort of hook at the beginning that just catches people or at least makes you know exactly who is coming out. I don't really care that it's generic, at least i know who the hell it is when i hear it

Edge/Christian: This TOTALLY REEKS of Heinousity. [paraphrased] (during a Rock/Angle match, Angle is on the outside yelling at the Pittsburgh fans) Angle: How dare you boo Kurt Angle, I'm from Pittsburgh, I was born down the road at Mercy Hospital! (Rock strikes Angle from behind and steals the microphone) Rock: It doesn't matter where you were born! (Foley/Rock meet the Dudleys) Rock: Who are you two roody-poos? Bubba: You should know by now that we are the Duh-Duh-Duh-Duh-Duh... Rock: I-I-I-I-IT Doesn't Matter What Your Name Is!
-
What's the point of using that now? With an opening of "Christian, you're finally on your own!" doesn't work now. He should go back to Blood Brother, although it was a James Johnson creation, you knew he was coming out. they could easily have made it into... "CHRISTAAAAAAAIN, CHRISTAAAAAAAAAAIN!" and then BOOM! right into the music. It's not hard to cut out a few sparse words of operatic chant.

Gifts of Artwork and/or Visual Aids usually lead to a brawl or a breaking of said art/aid over someone's head.

The building exploded. It's one of those reactions that is barely seen these days. I get nostalgic for how much people cared and really went off the handle when they marked out.

Of the WWE matches, it's hard to choose with me. Most of them had some kind of bizarre interference in them. - Vader/Sid at Mind Games - Austin during his first title win - The Rock coming from NOWHERE at the Street Fight - The Undertaker at Over The Edge 98 And what was the oddest was that in the last three examples there were times when he was both aligned with them and against them (though maybe not Taker, I'm not sure...they may have been tag champs at some point). I love the Streetfight, but once the handcuffs come off, the rest of the match is just boom boom boom tacks finish. Is first title win was very good until the clusterfuck and the glass shatter. I love them all, but if you go by everything else in the seperate matches besides the ending, I'd probably pick the Streetfight. That match had the most emotion going into it, and that is something I love in wrestling. Mind Games and the Title Win are tied for 2nd, MG for the match itself, and the Title Win for the emotion around it (Big Daddio Did It! and the run around the ring still tear me up)

1. I once heard "Out Of My Head" by Fastball SIX TIMES in one day (i was sick and laid in bed next to a radio). 2. I once heard "Hotel California" 3 times in 2 hours (thanks to a CRAPPY AS FUCK mid-day request show. 3. I <3 XM.

well that's pretty f'n silly, as the song comes up as a download when I click the link showing the title to (apparently) be "Over The Edge".

1. Forklifts are routinely left unattended with the keys in them OR 2. Forklifts can be hotwired by damn near everyone. 3. If you do something, and no one is around to videotape it - it didn't fucking happen. Corollary: If it did happen, expect everyone to forget about it in two weeks.

oh geez... I forgot Mr. Luther Reigns. oh well, then I have no idea what Show should do... maybe go after the Cruiserweight Title or something.
-
Actually... Big Show as "reluctant heel" would be better at this stage, with Kurt using him to his advantage after the "olympian tossing" incident. So basically Kurt would be forcing Big Show to work for him even though the injury was "fake" EVEN though he fell off a high ass platform onto concrete. If built right, Show could play the role for a few months and could be Angle's "leverage" in an eventual Cena feud (Cena could be forced to fight off Show in order to get to Angle).

In this thread, every sentence of every post must end with the words "in my pants". I think I will have a classic thread here soon in my pants.

I always thought it was the HUGGLE Bunch. God damn they creeped me out. The kids would go through a mirror and into the Huggle Bunch world. -
Booker T/ John Cena at SummerSlam...
The Amazing Rando replied to UseTheSledgehammerUh's topic in The WWE Folder
It will be an amazing athletic competition between two men who wish to show that they are the best in the business (/company line) without going near their brand's world championship. -

The One And Only "In My Pants" Thread!
The Amazing Rando replied to The Amazing Rando's topic in No Holds Barred
Oh yeah, like this board has ever been full of "innocent smarks" in my pants. -
Yes. Fuck THE THING. The ending was pathetic too.

I would love to see Eugene play a "Bang 3:16" Austin role, spending his night always right over HHH's shoulder, messing with him...putting HHH in the "cerebral crosshairs". Every time Evolution tries to outsmart him, Eugene slips through...possibly showing that there is something else hidden behind the goofy smile of the "Special Superstar"

I rescind my F.I.R.R.I.B. comment from earlier... and i'm PRO-FIRRIB, definitely.
