    Spoiler for 10-02-2008

That is something they should have addressed early on with some sort of storyline, or it is something that needs to be addressed and put out there. So that's why I say just keep it as their own little cruiser belt (which it pretty much is now) and then have a secondary title. Having a World, Tag, Midcard, Women's, and Cruiser titles isn't THAT bad, even with just one two-hour show a week. The problem is that TNA doesn't have the best time management skills, so it might be harder for them to do it. Keep the World title as the focus of every show, and then just kinda have the other four rotated in and out in groups of two, doing more backstage stuff with two while doing matches based around the other two and then switch it up the following week. Use the backstage stuff to set up next week's matches and there could even be some backstage brawling type segments and things like that.

It seemed they just edited the spoilers wrong. It seems that after Khali's thing, HHH comes out for the Show/HHH match, in the middle of the match Taker comes out, attacks Show, and then Kozlov comes out to attack HHH. Hardy makes the save and then Hardy attacks HHH with the TOF to end the show.

    Spoiler for 10-02-2008

The entire point of the X Division was to be "no limits" and that anyone would be able to challenge for it, but it has pretty much been TNA's Cruiserweight belt outside of a few title reigns. Also, the point that is lost between the titles is that most people refer to the top championship as the "World Championship" when in fact it is the World HEAVYWEIGHT Championship. If they wanted to do it correctly, than nobody that is able to challenge for the World Cruiserweight Championship should ever be able to challenge for the Heavyweight Championship, unless it was some sort of "I want to prove myself" storyline. It makes the Cruiser title look meaningless when a guy in that division wants to bypass it. Those are the two championships that should be on close to equal footing - not the Heavyweight and a proposed TV title. I can agree that TNA might need another championship, but I would rather see them push the X Division as what it should be as use that as a belt for midcarders and such to fight over and create situations where it would seem more feasible that a guy like Creed/Sonjay/Lethal/whomever can stand on equal footing with some of the bigger guys. Since that will never ever ever ever happen, create a North American Heavyweight Championship, relegate the X Title to the smaller guys, and give the upper-midcard something to do besides meaninglessly fart around until staleness demands some new challenge or champion for the World Heavyweight. The point is, though, that this new belt would not be on the level of the World, but would be that step up that a guy could use to get to the World title at a later point.

I'm not watching, but are you sure he didn't say "Triumvirate" or however that is spelled.

So apparently the Wrestlemania show on Thursday is every match from WM24 cut down and into their own separate music videos. That is what it sounds like when checking WWE.com

I liked the anklelock from Punk, especially if it leads to him trying to take out the right foot/ankle/leg of the Priceless Crew in retribution for Orton punting him in the head.

    Goal line blitz

Trust me. I saw it. It's just next to impossible to get a human to sign on this team. I am sending out some offers though (one to a higher level CPU just in case everything else falls through)

    Taco Bell big box meal

I never saw that at the one I worked in years ago. KFC had there own pressure fryers (for bone in) and two open fryers for the stripes and etc. LJS had 4 or so of it's own. LJS fries went into the KFC cookers though, and in on instance almost led to me getting fired for exploding on one of the 'supervisors' for trying to pull the fries about 90 seconds before they were done (they cook for 2:45) just because "we needed them". I don't know about anyone else, but I'd rather wait 90 seconds for cooked fries than get soggy shit early.

    Goal line blitz

You'd have to ask him. I am investing in some CPU players, even though Human >>> CPU, in the hopes that we can at least have some depth and get a decent winning team to hopefully attract some more human players.

They should re-do Slamboree 97 and have a mini-battle royal with the winner facing Jericho immediately afterward.

Can anyone give a reason as to why Rey isn't just going batshit insane toward Kane? I mean, fuck, I'd be coming out with a chair and laying down some big red chairshots if some big motherfucker tortured and assaulted me. Instead it's all bird shit and playing to the crowd.

    Google Chrome

I ended up uninstalling Google Chrome and the Google Updater. I run on about 1.5 Gig RAM and it was zapping nearly a third of it, which isn't good on a Vista run machine.

Sure, nitpicky. But that was basically every single complaint in this thread balled into one. I *like* Jericho with the belt, it just wasn't the best way to give it to him.

Let's break this down, really... Punk loses the title: Not cool, but at least he can bring out the fact that he didn't actually lose it in a match (much like Cena, Edge, and many many others have thanks to injuries these past few years). Had he lost it in any match everyone would have probably been in an uproar. He wasn't going to hold it forever, and while I agree that first reigns should be used to make someone look strong, it didn't hurt Edge in the way he won and lost within a span of three weeks. He was still kept in the uppercard and Punk *will* be kept in the uppercard, even if it means dealing with Priceless/Manu/Orton for a bit. Jericho wins the title: Good, but not in execution. As many have said it would have been better to have Jericho put in Cena's place, have Jericho be the third guy in the match, he gets attacked by HBK and then could eventually come back into the ring late and do the exact same pin, maybe after Rey gets involved and takes out Kane. Batista can be messing with JBL and have the barely awake Jericho roll Kane into the ring and pin him just after Batista pins JBL. Then they can continue with Rey/Kane, Batista getting screwed, HBK/Jericho, and Orton taking out Punk. CM Punk will get other chances to hold that belt. It might not be for a few months but he will. HBK (and even Rey) won't be able to go forever and Punk would fit nicely into one of those face spots. It wasn't like they threw the title on Batista or JBL. They gave it to the most over heel on the Raw roster, and a guy that is very well-rounded character and in-ring wise. Next week's cage match will more than likely have a shitty END (regardless of who wins) but getting to that end will at least give us an entertaining match. and sorry, Truthiness, but as far as professional wrestling goes, this is "A Post-Benoit World." Not every single person in the lockerroom does steroids, but there is more than enough documentation of a drug-use history in the business. It was only cause of Benoit (and maybe baseball) that people are starting to have to face tests. Sadly, the tests have kept a lot of potentially good storylines from happening (Regal and Hardy are prime examples) and while one would think that failing once might make people wake the hell up and not do them anymore...old habits die hard. And, even worse, sometimes even when you break the habit it has still done enough damage physically to make a 100% recovery impossible. I want to think that eventually the business would be drug-free, but it's never - ever - ever going to happen. We will always have guys failing tests and disappearing for months. We will always have the sad news that someone we loved from ten years ago was found dead in their house, and we will always have to just shake our heads at the fact that people decided that a needle, a joint, whatever was more important than their job. The worst thing is - some of those guys actually consider those things a necessary part of their job.
