Gotta love Joey Mercury posing as Matt Hardy breaks up a pinfall in the background.

I'm sure JR has seen worse injuries...and JR wasn't even there live. Given that criteria, I'd put Foley's missing ear above that just for starters. Wasn't he at Raw during Droz's broken neck or HELL...wasn't he there for OTE99?

they have to have that Wrestlemania banner there so they can get a shot of the Rumble winner standing in it's shadow at the end of the big match. Also, I wish Mercury was wearing an old Kane concession stand mask. ^Who would be the 30th Entrant.... A Rookie. (I'd say they automatically give him the actual number 30 spot too)

If they make it a 30th Royal Rumble, they should try and find a competitor from every single Rumble to compete. No overlaps (I mean, every year has to be accounted for, but nobody can be responsible for two of the years).

The Royal Rumble sponsor is THE MARINE, ON DVD THIS TUESDAY, KING

Didn't Raven almost break Kane's leg during that? Oh, the WWF hardcore division also had FIGHTING IN THE RIVER~ and one of my favorite gimmick matches ever... The Time Limit Hardcore Battle Royale.

I had been voting for Triple H all week. I can't believe he lasted this long. I love that fans forget that he was pretty much the most hated man in the company from 2000-mid06 except for like 7 months in 02.

That was a little bit before she got the oversized huge melons installed that made her look like she was about to fall over. Like a year or two later she went from looking pretty good to looking kinda like crap. Course she always seems to have good years and really bad years. I think it's the face that gets me. That's a definite "fuck me harder or I'm telling daddy" face.

Taken from my post over in the general wrestling folder.... I would also like to say that Miz could switch places with any of the guys in the first three positions, but if he takes Sandman or Sabu's place it doesn't give Shelton that "oh shit I don't think so" moment. But I stick with the fact that Miz is either in very early or at 29 with Khali following at 30.

"Thats not a bad thing, it's a good thing!" Remeber that story line? But the person is supposed to be from ANGLE'S PAST... DDP/Steiner is not at all. I wish it could be D-Lo Brown (The FIRST Ever Euro-Continental Champion) or Chris Jericho, of course (but even they never had a big feud). All the guys that would make sense are either working for the WWE still, dead, or are retired (like Brock). -
A 24 episode season with 1976 re-runs. Fantastic.

She looks pretty hot right there.

Are you sure that's his wife? Last I heard he got divorced and is single these days, I mean it could be his g/f. And hey, they brought Shelton Benjamin with them.

Sharmell goes from Kurt Angle trying to rape her to the Little Bastard trying to rape her.... Answering the age old question of what would happen if steroids shrunk your WHOLE body instead of just your nuts -

Greatest Royal Rumble Matches
The Amazing Rando replied to daileyxplanet's topic in General Wrestling
i assume they storyline it out... like in 01 with the hardcore guys all sort of being grouped together and usually they have one to three bigger names come in between 5 and 15 and the other big names usually after 18. In Rumble 92 they gave Hogan/Taker "special privledges" in storyline because of the stripping of the belt. If the big storyline is HBK/Edge/Orton... they will probably have those guys come in within a span of about 6 entrants, unless they want to throw one in early (probably HBK at around 14) and have Edge and Orton both in either by entrant 21 or have one come in and then the other comes in right before the first is eliminated (probably around 25 or 26). Another big storyline is Taker looking to want the title, so you know he'll probably get a number between 21 and 25. They'll probably try and keep the Hardyz and Nitro around the same set of 7 (maybe have Matt or Jeff in before the 10th and have the other Hardy and Nitro come in back to back around 11-13. Since 1 and 2 haven't been talked about much, i'm expecting them to be Sandman and Sabu. 3rd will be Shelton, who will be like "oh shit i don't think so" followed by Crazy, MVP, Viscera, Jeff Hardy, Dreamer, Thorn, Kane ... there's your first ten. Matt and Nitro follow, then Flair, HBK, Kenny, Masters, Helms, Carlito, RVD, Orton... there's 20. Punk, Chavo, Holly, Edge, Taker, Benoit, Booker, Finlay, The Miz, Khali in at 30. -

Hogan also basically helped Flair win the title at that RR by pulling Sid out (or trying to anyway). Sid was a face at the time, and Hogan (another face) helped heel Flair win. -

Hogan always had a heel edge to his character. Eye rakes, back rakes... that's heelish stuff. Hell, in RR92 he chokes guys out with his shirt. Not exactly very face-like (Duggan, for example, didn't bring his 2x4 into the ring...which is just as much a legal weapon as a shirt used to do chokes) -
I think that's saturating the market.

Couldn't they have Khali be the one to toss him? I don't think anyone would hold it against the guy if Khali dumped him over the top. I hope Khali is number one, just so he can throw guys out as they enter like it's WWF Raw Is War on the Sega Genesis. -
Greatest Royal Rumble Matches
The Amazing Rando replied to daileyxplanet's topic in General Wrestling
Hell, I'd probably say that every single person in the 92 Rumble (except for Dibiase, of course) probably at least was in some kind of physical contact with Flair during the match. It might have only been a few punches/forearms or whatever, but he did take some sort of punishment from 28 other guys. I don't even think Shawn can say that (though I haven't seen that Rumble in FOREVER) -
Luger's out... I'm voting for HHH.
-
Tomko also slipped and fell doing his first televised Big Boot, if I'm not mistaken.
-
Wouldn't WWE want him to compete...cause that would just DRIVE viewers away. Actually, I think Tomko can be pretty good in the role he has now.
