The fact that he didn't and Matsuzaka did shows that most voters just look at the record and ERA and vote based on that.

Entertaining game, despite NFL Network's efforts to the contrary. 1) For a league that pulls down as much scratch as the NFL does, you'd think they would be able to have a game presentation better than a step-up from a network affiliate's preseason broadcast. 2) That Papa guy is worse than Joe Buck doing football. At least Buck shows some fucking emotion. And twatfucks, Moss was dragging his foot on that TD pass; it was clear as fucking day. Collinsworth on NFLN is like Martin Scorcese doing a high school play. 3) Way to keep the field mics on during the anthem so you have to bleep out the last verse. 4) Is Chad Johnson even relevant anymore? I know his team is on next week, but nobody cares about the Bengals anymore. And fuck the Jets. That is all. They should have put it away early, but instead they let Matt Freakin' Cassell throw for 400 yards.

The OAO Mystery Science Theater 3000 Thread
KingPK replied to DMann2003's topic in Television & Film
Even though I hate most of season 1 and I have both Sci-Fi episodes on tape, Soultaker and Final Justice in the same set? Fucking SOLD! -
I'd love to agree with you, but I'm still not completely sold on the offense and the secondary. Cassell has improved by leaps and bounds and BenJarvus Green-Ellis (and Associates At Law) has been a very pleasant surprise -- I actually wouldn't be adverse to letting Maroney go next season if he keeps it up -- but I want to see how they fare over this next stretch (vs. Jets, @ Miami, vs. Pittsburgh) before I call them the #2 team. That fourth quarter drive today was a work of art and something they have been doing all year (they have 22 drives of 10 or more plays this year). It definitely reminds me of the '01-'04 teams who would grind out drives on offense and play bend but don't break defense.

FIRST PLACE in one of the most mediocre divisions in the league!
-
11 wins may be enough to take the #2 seed in the AFC this year. After Tennessee, who is the second best team in the conference? We've got eight teams within two games of each other and they all have some sort of flaw.
-
Herm Edwards should be fired for that playcall alone. Just take the fucking tie and go to OT you idiot.
-
Gus Johnson is doing this KC/SD game. It doesn't get any better than that. And that PI call was absolute horseshit.

My full picks are in my first post in this thread, if nobody saw them. Jets (8.5) (8.5) Carolina Pittsburgh (2.5) Kansas City N.Y. Giants Arizona (9.5) BAL: 28

The secret to the fire ants mission? A hunting rifle. You'll want a longer range weapon that keeps you away from the fire breath (or at least on the edge so you don't take massive damage) and that is the best one since it is accurate and fairly powerful. Most Super Mutants have them. Also, if there are a bunch surrounding you, use VATS to shoot one or two in the antennae to make them frenzied, which causes them to attack the other ants so you can stand back and watch them charbroil each other. I made my way to Rivet City and wandered around the area for a good 10 minutes trying to figure out how to get on the ship before I saw the intercom box. I'm an idiot.

No. Co-op is online only.

I downloaded the 20 free songs. They're....not so good. I only played the guitar parts and a lot of them are incredibly repetitive. A few aren't that bad, but it sucks that you only download all 20 at once in a big file which prevents you from deleting individual songs.

That Buddy Landell promo was funny and sad at the same time.

What, did you think they just put a handbook on his desk in the Oval Office titled So You Just Got Sworn In As President....?

If anyone's wondering, the bonus clips are working for me so I guess they fixed that problem. Always nice to see the Fingerpoke of Doom again (along with Tony's "What the fuck's going on?!").

I'm trying to stay good, but I'll do what I have to do to survive. If that means offing the occasional scavenger, so be it. One way to build up caps and items is to go around at night around the elementary school or the supermarket that Moira sends you to. Both places usually have stuff to pick up and Raiders to kill. In fact, I'd recommend doing her quest (the first part at least) early on. Not only does it get you familiar with the surrounding area, you can get some decent stuff. Once you get the house in Megaton you'll be able to use the lockers to stockpile things, which is a great way to hang on to important stuff that you can use at the workbench of Craterside Supply since it is just a short trip.

#17 is the Midnight Express vs. The Rock and Roll Express Scaffold Match from '87. I think this is the one where Cornette blows out his knee. EDIT: HHH has had one Starrcade match vs. Alex Wright in 1994 and he lost. I doubt that will be here. EDIT 2: #16 is Lex Luger vs. Ric Flair for the title from 1988.

Part 2 is up now with Tully Blanchard hosting. Haven't watched it all, but here's the next three matches: 20: Dustin Rhodes vs. Steve Austin (2 out of 3 falls for US title) (1993?) 19: Tully Blanchard/Arn Anderson vs. Road Warriors (World Tag title) (1987) 18: Rey Mysterio Jr. vs. Jushin "Thunder" Liger (1996)
-
Their coverage overall was pretty vanilla, though Brit Hume was hosting and you can't really call him an "emotional" guy.

I killed the guy that asked me to blow up Megaton. I don't roll that way (at least, not now). I also started ransacking Moira's place and the mercenary there didn't like that so I had to take care of him as well, leading to me being chased out of Megaton by all the irate townspeople. I also just got the Fat Man. Cooooooooool.
