Really, it's funny how the only person that seems to want Pedro on the Yankees is the only guy that can do anything about it. I saw that a NY Post poll had something like 3/4 of the responders say that they don't want him, I'll bet quite a few of the Yankees don't really want him, and even the Yankee baseball gurus don't want him. Pedro's going to have to revert to 1999 Pedro if he wants to get everyone off his back, especially since everyone will lump it all on him if they don't win. Imagine, A-Rod AND Pedro in the same clubhouse......

Will Pedro and Roger signing with the Yankees turn AS to the Red Side? *Suspensful organ music*
-
Yup, the market correction is over. Now I wouldn't be surprised if someone gave Varitek the contract he wants.
-
See? They should have used Eva Longoria. Then everyone would be happy.

"Your honor, my client pleads guilty. OH, I mean NOT guilty! That's the good one, right?" I'll be the court artist. I can draw a mean stick figure.
-
Nah, just another misguided Yankee fan. That's not a bannable offense. (Yet) EDIT: Upon further review, Max was right.

Actually, I think it was the jetpack they were covering As for Spike, you asked for it.: After Officer Tenpenny gets aquitted of murder, Los Santos riots. You and Sweet decide to take out Big Smoke once and for all at his crack factory. CJ goes at it alone and you fight your way up to him, and take him out. Tenpenny arrives, and takes the money that Smoke has earned, ready to hop a plane out of San Andreas. You chase him out of the compound (which gets blown up) and he takes a fire engine and races for the airport, with you and Sweet in pursuit. Rioters and police try and take both you and Tenpenny out, tossing molitov cocktails into the road and chasing you on motorbikes and poilce cars. Tenpenny loses control and crashes off a bridge, landing on Grove Street, where CJ and crew watches him die.

From what I'm reading, the Sox hope Pedro signs with New York and take him off their hands. They already gave him a good offer, so this won't be like the Clemens "twilight of his career" situation, since Pedro will be the bad guy (in the eyes of Sox fans) for taking the money with the Yankees. Imagine if Pedro struggles next year? He'll have "Who's Your Daddy?" chants in TWO stadiums. Also, the Sox seem to be perfectly willing to let Varitek walk as well, since, according to the Herald today, they've already made a 2 year offer to Damian Miller, who led the AL in runners thrown out (something Tek struggles at) and looks like every bit the defensive player Jason is. Boras is asking for way too much for him. Catchers aren't that high on anyone's list, so who's going to give 11M/yr for 5 years AND be saddled with a no trade clause?

They're better than Vicky and the Douche, because the girl could probably kick the shit out of the guy if he pisses her off enough.

Watch Jonathan fall into the lake now. "Leave me alone!" "How does my BUTT look in these, Lana"?
-
We need one of the wrestlers to give Jonathan a chairshot, or suplex him on his head or something.

The Old Couple seem to be the "just happy to be there" team. SNOW WRASSLIN~!

Yeah, I move to knock Maximo 2 off the platform category and put Sly 2 in it's place, only because I rented Max 2, and it really blew. Like that time I made beef stew. I bought a shirt that's fairly new..... Sorry.

Where did they go for dinner? Did Pedro order the steak or the chicken? We need more updates here! Money is no object when it comes to George in getting Pedro. He'll give him $15M+/yr for 4 or 5 years EASILY. The Sox pretty much offered him the same contract that they gave Schilling, so he can't bitch about them treating Curt better that him ('course, Curt did what he said he was going to do in his first year.) If the Sox lose him, but end up retaining Varitek while signing either Pavano or Clement (or both on the outside chance), I won't miss him. Pedro's age is going to start to become a factor sooner than later.

I'm offended. They should have used Eva Longoria instead.

How about doing like the baseball awards, and have a 1st, 2nd and 3rd place vote, assigning points for them (1st is 5 points, 2nd is 3, 3rd is 1, or whatever)?

I always thought the first Jak was too "kiddie" for me, even though it was really colorful and had tight gameplay. As soon as I put some time into the first Ratchet, I was completely hooked. I'll probably grab Going Commando now that it's a Greatest Hit, and UYA is definitely on my X-Mas list. I loved the first Sly as well, but Ratchet and Clank just tops them all.

Nah, that was when Dames decided to make a milkshake and almost burned the board down. Almost everyone got banned.
-
Well, that was a whoopin'. This puts the Pats and Steelers on equal ground as far as I'm concerned (ok, I'll put Pittsburgh at 1 and NE at 1A because of the H2H).

Ow....that's not good for Bruschi. And he's walking off on his own. Lucky man. Losman fumbles. Welcome to the NFL, rook.
-
And to top it all.....Brady really hasn't had that great of a game. He's missed about 4 or 5 wide open passes, and he just threw a horrible pick. The whole Bills offense is sad to watch right now. EDIT: Their defense isn't looking too good right now, either. But that's probably because they're dead tired since the offense can't stay on the field.
-
Uh, Drew......Troy Brown isn't your teammate anymore.
-
This is almost a carbon copy of the first game: the Bills D is at least keeping them relatively in it, but the offense can't do ANYTHING. *Awaits Bledsoe fumbling and Seymour returning it for a TD*

To be fair, that wasn't a good call either. And there goes Theismann again.
