You didn't see him when the Red Sox won the Series, did you? Lousiana to Bush.
-
Bush still seems to be holding his FLA lead, but I heard that it might take until the morning to count the votes in counties like Miami-Dade and Palm Beach.
-
The ballot I got was pretty bare (I'm in Bristol County), no propositions or anything. Just the president, a few local races (two which had only one candidate) and the county sheriff. Sorry.
-
It will be interesting to see A) How many young voters went to the polls (by the sound of things, they made their 20M quota) and B) How it broke down, and the reasons they gave.

FNC's calling a shitload of states now. 156-112 Bush.
-
Unofficially, maybe. We'll know by tomorrow morning. Then, they fire up the lawyers.
-
Why can't the networks wait until at least 50% of the precincts are reporting before "calling" a state is beyond me. And aren't Exit Polls the epitome of unscientific?
-
I'm watching FNC, but I do like NBC using the ice rink at Rockerfeller Center to paint in the states. I won't be glued to the set all night though (I bought a bunch of DVDs this weekend for a reason).

So I'm finally in Las Venturas. Is Woozie's casino the only one you can go into, or can you get into the others? And "Fender Ketchup" may be my favorite mission in the whole game.

Not if Hawaii becomes as pivotal as some people think it might. I just came back from the polls. I went for Bush but in MA, there is usually nothing else to vote for since two or three of the races only have one candidate. The only one worth voting for was county sheriff. The woman that gave me my ballot said that there were a lot of younger people voting today. Anyone else see the same?

So, anyone have any tips about increasing your lung capacity? Or do I have to spend a half hour in the water going under and coming back up for air? And thank GOD Zero's RC missions aren't pivotal to the story, because that helicopter in the last one is so goddamn hard to control. Shooting RC planes out of the sky with a minigun was boss, though.

I thought I posted this last night, but I guess it didn't show. What do the Mets have that could possibly persade the Red Sox to trade Manny? He's become a darling of Boston, and he's now very comfortable with guys like Ortiz and Millar there. They should have tried this last year, it would have been MUCH easier. Unless other teams get involved, the chances of a trade like that are slim and none, and slim is putting his jacket on and saying his goodbyes.

Damn, I was just going to say what Vyce just did. I'm also going to wait until more reviews come out and maybe make this a rental. It'll probably go on my Christmas list, anyway.

Just use the tag {spoiler}(Insert text here){/spoiler}. Replace the {} with [] for it to work. Like this I was playing the mission where you have to break up the roadblocks with a rocket launcher. I get to the last one and aim my shot and some jagoff drives right by me right when I fire, so the rocket blows up in my face and kills me. That pissed me off.

But you can't just dismiss Dillon's absence, since it altered NE's gameplan into a "90% pass, 10% run" offense, since no one in their right mind is scared of Kevin Faulk and Cedric Cobbs, which played right into Pittsburgh's hands, since they were able to pressure the shit out of Brady without having to worry about the play action (notice the near absence of that from Brady?). And Law's injury allowed the Steelers to pick on Randall Gay, which they did the first play he came in (which was incredibly smart of the coach, Ben, the co-ordinator, whoever made the call) But besides that, the Steelers simply did what ANY good team should do: force your opponents into making mistakes and then capitalize, and do it early. Not many teams are going to come back after getting into a 21-3 hole in the first quarter. The Pats fought back, at least. Alas, it's but only one game. But I think by the end of next week, we're not going to have any undefeated teams anymore.

Right, because that blowout loss to Buffalo last year REALLY affected them, didn't it? Anyway, the refs seem to be calling more taunting penalties this year. That's like the third week in a row I've seen one called.
-
Did they play a college game there yesterday, because that field looks pretty chewed up already.
-
Now the Steelers have to keep it up, because if they start letting their guard down (a la Seattle), it'll bite them hard in the ass. And that's a great way to do it.
-
Jesus, you say that EVERY GODDAMN WEEK!
-
And they take advantage of it by burning his replacement for a TD. Smart, smart play.
-
And already the Steelers are shooting themselves in the foot with two personal foul penalties.
-
You have to go to Board Settings in your control panel and uncheck the "Is Daylight Savings Time in effect?" box.
-
I now hope that TO drops the pass that would have won them the NFC Championship this year. That is, if Ray doesn't get to him first.

We're just going to padlock the door of CE and put the results on pay-per-view. Only $49.95!!!! Seriously, I'd recommend one thread for the Presidential election, and if someone wants to discuss a state election (Senate, House, mayoral, state propositions, etc.), they can start a separate thread. But I think just locking the door and mopping up the blood in the morning would be the best course for everyone. Besides, we already bought some nice mops.
