Interleague play is kicking my ASS. I took 2 out of 3 from the Phillies, but the Marlins swept me (got beat down each game) and now I'm on the verge of getting swept by Atlanta. And I have the Yankees at the Stadium next. Ouch.

THIS year? I'd call total bullshit on those rumors. Sony would have probably unveiled the system at E3 this year if that was true. Besides, I'm pretty sure they would release PS3 in Japan before the US (that's how almost all console launches work.) Maybe you're hearing about the PSP, Sony's new handheld. But they have announced that the PSP is held off until 2005, so the rumors are still bunk.

Most of the ire is really towards Nik that I can see. But really, how long has he (and I and the other new mods) been doing this? Not even a month yet? FS already said this, but the new mods are still adjusting to becoming a mod. We didn't go through a week at Mod Boot Camp and we didn't take a Moderator Qualification Exam. Let's just calm down for a while and stop ripping every single decision. Loss was criticized when he started, and that blew over, this will too. I'd really like to go to a baseball game with AS, just to witness 8 different emotional outburts in 3 hours. Congrats to Youklis and his first HR. GREAT outing by Arroyo, too. If he at least remains consistent and gets around 10 wins, I'll be perfectly happy. It sucks that Nomar could be out until possibly the All-Star break, though.

I haven't been to that many stadiums. The only MLB one I've been to outside of Fenway is Olympic Stadium, so Fenway wins by default. I've been to Pro Player twice for football games, and I really liked the view I had even from WAYYYYY up at the top of the place (but I don't know how you can watch a baseball game there; the field looks like it's 20 miles away). I'd LOVE to go to Gillette this season. My father went to the Jaguars game last season and I almost went to the Dolphins game (the one where the place was buried under 2 feet of snow).

See that's what pisses me off. You say that you want nothing to do with that part of the board and its mods, but still you take little potshots like that. If you don't like the job someone is doing, but don't want to offer any advice or anything constructive, then clam up.

And I HATE how Bonds has to stand there and admire every single homer he hits. The fact that people jump all over a guy like Manny Ramirez when he does it (Game 5 of the 2003 ALDS, as an example), while ignoring Bonds doing it is really hypocritical.

I know that, but I'd rather have someone take an issue with a mod up with the mod himself rather than drag threads off topic with their complaints. I happen to think Nik is doing a pretty good job with a folder that has as many problems as the WWE one. Gearhead WAS creating thread after thread without seeing if there was already a topic on the subject matter. He even created two threads about video games in the Sports folder. Mods act on their own discretion, and I just wish people would try to work out problems off the board rather than on.
