My EB.com order has shipped. W00t~! It should be at my door by Wednesday (got the 3 day shipping). What sucks is that the day after I ordered, EB's "Deal of the Day" had 2-day air shipping free. I got $5 off, so shipping was pretty much free for me anyways. Am I pathetic for pumping my fist when I saw that my order had shipped? Don't answer that.

And if Embree came in and gave up a 3 run jack on the next pitch, Grady would get hammered for taking out "one of the best pitchers in baseball who was mowing the Yankees down all night." It's lose-lose.

I'm willing to bet that the brass wasn't going to bring him back anyway, unless they won the whole thing. During the regular season, the general opinion among the fans was that if Grady got them to the postseason, he'd get an extension. That didn't happen. Then we thought he would if they got to the ALCS. Didn't happen. They treated him like shit, lauding him for his great ability, but clamming up when asked about his contract. Again I ask, who the hell will they get now?

Ok, so who the hell do they get to manage now? Whoever it is, he'd better be ready to handle that clubhouse (Manny's antics, a bunch of guys (including Pedro) in the last year of their contracts) I'm sorry, but I just think this is a muy estupido move by the Sox management. Little won almost 200 games in his two years as manager, handles the egos in the clubhouse well (hell, even MANNY wants him back) and he's canned? Dumb. The Sox won't win 90 games next year.

And the boo birds re-emerge in Philly. I'm liking a 7-2 record going into the bye for the Patsies. Today's game sucked, of course (the Miami game wasn't that great either, but at least there was some damn OFFENSE).

He means that teams like the Royals and Orioles haven't made the playoffs in a while, and have a reason to gripe while Yankees fans are getting all in a huff after losing one Series after dominating the 90s and making the Series 3 out of 4 times in the 00s (winning one). I'll say it: You guys have no reason to be getting this angry and pessimistic. The Yankees have had their time; it's time to move on.

You know what, for all this bitching, I hope the Yankees become the Braves of the 90s: making the playoffs every year and losing. Time for someone else to shine, fellers.

What? Were you guys expecting the Yankees to make the postseason every year for the next 30 years or so? It happens. Guys come and go. Guys get old and lose their skills. It happens to the other 31 teams in MLB, so it's not unusual. The New York Yankees.....becoming........*gasp* NORMAL!!?? Perish the thought.

I'm sorry, but you guys just won't find much sympathy since your team has 26 FUCKING WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS, the most of any team in American professional sports!!! I can understand anger after losing the World Series, but c'mon, it's not like the Yankees haven't been successful in the past 20 years. The team is on a downturn you say? Well, making the World Series 3 out of the last 4 years is a downturn I'd like to have.

Once. At the end of one cartoon, they ran through a pipe that got progressively smaller, ending up with both being really tiny as they came out of the other end. They went back through it, and RR came out back to full size, but Wile E. was still tiny. Wile E. ran under RR's feet and realized where he was and grabbed RR's leg, but looked up to see a huge head looking down at him. I think the cartoon ended with Wile E. holding up a sign saying "Now what do I do?" ........Don't ask me why I remembered all that.
