I think George is calling in the tanker of Jim Bean and the hose and funnel set right now.
-
And Williamson says "Uh, yeah it is."
-
Looks like this one's guaranteed to go six now.

This just in: George Steinbrenner calls Pope John Paul II, revokes the Vatican's season tickets. This helps Boston in a BIG way in that it allows for Derek Lowe to pitch at Fenway, where he's extremely effective.

IT'S A FUM-BLE!!!! That's a Stomach Punch. TD Chiefs!!!!! Wow. Chiefs are ROLLING.

Oooh, someone got a hand on that kick. Packers are still in it.
-
Guess KC-GB is going to OT too. I think I'm in for a good game in Miami next week.
-
They're just too old. They really need a big injection of young players in that franchise.
-
Oh COME ON on that penalty!! The refs today have been too flag-happy.

"Wait a minute, th-th-that's Don Zimmer's music!"
-
I thought it was Wells at first too, I thought to myself "Uh oh, David must have visited the Cask N' Flagon after BP today." I too found Zimmer's antics to be absolutely hilarious. Another memorable moment in a very interesting postseason. Everyone did something stupid and overreacted, except for Clemens really. He's the only one who kept things in check. But Karim Garcia is a friggin' baby for getting into such a huff from this that he got into a fight with a GROUNDSKEEPER!

Believe me, if someone came into Fenway with one of those things, they'll leave with a brand-new inflatable tail. 2-0 Sox. Roggggggggger Roggggggggger Roggggggggger.

Britain, yes. Lloyd George was headed into an election and needed a big victory to get reelected. This was actually one of the few times that France ended up being correct. They were more interested in returning things to the status-quo, but they got out voted at Paris by the US & Britain. I thought the US bowed out of the negotiations over disagreements with France and Britain and negotiated their own treaty with Germany, which was signed a little after Versailles, if I recall correctly?

The game has "gone gold", so that means it is completely finished and is off to the production line to make all the discs and packaging. They could make some changes, but that would mean stopping production and destroying the discs that have already been made. -

Looks like THQ really did their homework on this one. If it is as good as everyone expects, those guys deserve some major kudos. Since it's gone gold, I assume we'll be starting to see some reviews in the coming week. -
The Fish sees all. The Fish knows all. Obey the Fish or die.

I don't think so. Germany probably would have still gotten raked over the coals by England and France in a treaty, sending Germany spiraling into the depths and giving Hitler the chance to rise to power.
-
Well, 1-1 going to Boston. I kind of thought Pettite was going to pitch well, but they had him off his game early but couldn't take advantage, so that's a bit frustrating. Still, the next 3 are in Fenway, and the Sox are undefeated there so far in the postseason, so....we shall see. And is anyone else digging Bret Boone in the booth? The less McCarver gets to talk, the better.
-
Well, ratings for the Championship Series are up more than 50% from last year. Ok, ok, that may be because the teams in it aren't the Angels or the Twins, but people are getting back into baseball because of this postseason. A Sox/Cubs WS would do gangbusters, if only for the people who want to see Sox and Cubs fans voluntarily go through such torture.
-
Seeing as how I've yet to watch a moment of baseball since about June or so, couldn't tell you (and, judging by ratings, I'm hardly alone). Not a baseball fan. Ask me about football and you might have a discussion. Even worse, like most of the country, I don't care. Boston could make the World Series --- and it would STILL get crap ratings. But, odds of them making it are still REALLY slim. -=Mike Dammit, Mike, and I used to respect your opinion and everything. I wish you and Jango would take your spat elsewhere so you don't have to pull stuff out of your ass to try and one up him. Game 5 of Sox/A's outdrew MNF this week, I believe
-
I still think the Yankees take Game 2. Pettite is just too good and the Sox really haven't hit lefties well.
-
Really? I must have forgot about that. I'm right on the Sox point, anyway.

Oh geez, IT'S GAME ONE for God's sake!!!
