I got Rams/49ers on FOX and the Jets/Phins on CBS. I'd rather have Steelers/Chiefs.

I think this was a test run of a TNA-style weekly or bi-weekly PPV series. After the Taker-Hogan controversy at SurSer, I think Jack Tunney annouced the rematch and TTiT on WWF TV the weekend after.

Well, the way things are going now, that hurricane is going north and won't even come close to Miami. Don't have to worry about that cancelling the game or anything. I think. Anyway, of course the Pats-Eagles is my focus, but that's at 4 so I don't know what I'll watch at 1. It'll be interesting what happens with the crowd if the Eagles don't score on their opening drive.

Well, I use the 10 point system, which is a little better to use IMO because you have more numbers to play with. Basically, my criteria boils down to (in order of importance): 1) Entertainment value 2) Cleanliness (less for blown spots, sloppiness, etc.) 3) Psychology (I'm not really familiar with the whole psychology bit yet, so that is weighed less.)

I really think the Pats should set up their running game like the Jets and Raiders do: give Faulk the ball for the majority of the time and bring in Smith on goal line and short yardage situations, where straight-up-the-gut power running works the best.

Hey, he just had a bad game from the get-go. If Faulk (or Smith) can get the running game going, that should open it up for some long ones against a weakened secondary.

I think I've got an idea for a WarGames match come Summerslam. I haven't really thought of the details, but it will involve Hass and Benjamin splitting and Hass going back with Angle while Benjamin wins the US title from London. I'll throw a couple of heels together with Shelton, and there you go. And I'm also thinking of making a heel stable of all Asian wrestlers (Tajiri, Dragon, Funaki and TAKA), but I need a good name. I kind of like the Triad, but I think I can find something better.

I haven't forgotten about this. I've plugged in about half the people so far and will get the rest done probably by the middle of next week.

I agree with Tom, actually. And for the reasons he stated, too. When you have guys like Ward, Buress and even Riemersma (as the TE option) to throw to, good things usually happen. I've got Maddox on my Yahoo team and I probably would have started him, except that I've got Gannon and he's playing Cincinatti, so......

No....Scotland is part of the United Kingdom, which is made up of England, Scotland and Ireland, all separate countries. On the subject, I have only seen a few Batman movies, and they all blew IMO. With a new Crusader and a new director, this one will probably not. Insightful, eh? EDIT: Huh, guess I was wrong about the UK part. I always thought each island was it's own country.

Actually, I found the coverage to be as low key as you could get for the anniversary for something like this. The majority of it was on the news networks, which it should be. Getting sick of it? Don't watch CNN, FNC, MSNBC (well, no one watches that anyway), etc. It's just 24 hours.

One of the best ideas the new ownership has implemented. It actually improves the look of the park IMO and they sell right out, no matter who is playing. It seems they are making the best of a crappy situation (having pretty much no chance in hell of getting a brand new park anythime soon) And for those who bitch about the Monster being plastered with ads: look at pictures of it from the 50s. It's not unusual.

Yep, they gotta go with the old wrecking ball. I'd really like to go to Pac Bell at least once. It really looks like a nice place to watch a game. I'm kind of surprised Fenway was rated high. The new ownership has really made the place look respectable again, I guess.

How about you have until midnight on Saturday to finalize your Sunday picks, and then you have until midnight on Sunday to finalize your Monday night pick. Perhaps if you want to change your Monday pick, you could PM either Bravesfan or KKK with it so they won't miss it.
