I have a 4GB Sansa SanDisk player and I use it all the time. You can get one for $100ish (I got an older model on clearance for $50). As was stated, unless you are going to play videos on it, 4GB is plenty of space. It also has a great interface and scroll wheel.

The contract is for $5M guaranteed this year with a team option for $5M in 2010 or a player option for $3M with $2M in incentives based on how many starts he makes. If he reaches .250 next year I'll be shocked.

- Final: Cardinals 28 Steelers 20 - MVP will be Larry Fitzgerald with 2 TDs (also the receiving leader) - Parker will be the leading rusher, but it will be a "quiet" 80-100 yards with no scores as Arizona's rush defense continues to be stout. - Both Warner and Ben throw for 250+ and two TDs, though both will throw 1 or 2 INTs

I just picked this up tonight. Even though they take some getting used to, the new controls (I haven't played a hockey game since....geez...2K3?) are fantastic and Be A Pro is fucking addictive. I'm just starting out on the Baby Broons in Providence but have 1 goal and 2 assists in two games. I like that you get constant feedback from the coach during the game.

It's Tag Team Mania this week as they really are putting over the US Tag Title tournament. Of all the duos I could have thought of, Jimmy Garvin and Tully Blanchard would be pretty far down the list.

Not hot. I actually liked this one a lot. I've had debates like this with co-workers; I think our subject was Gwen Stefani (not hot). Of course, it wasn't as in-depth as the Swank Summit tonight, but it killed a slow day at least. And is it me or is some sort of showdown coming between Michael and David Wallace? I think as the season winds down Wallace offers him a corporate position but Michael realizes that he isn't the type that's cut out for the cutthroat corporate world (he's too sentimental for his employees). The fact that Amy Ryan is coming back probably means that Michael has to choose between Holly and New York.

Another suggestion for Marvin: Leaping from a tall bridge

So I'm guessing Prepon will be the girl Barney starts to hang around with to try and get over Robin because it's kinda late in the season to slap Ted with a love interest.

Before my 360 died I was watching the first season again via Netflix. If you watch it episode by episode without having to wait a week for the new ones, the story seems to flow a lot better and I got hooked again. I'm at the episode where they block the bridge to prevent the mercenaries from raiding the town right now and I'll pick it up again when I get my 360 back next week.

I always refer to Game 5 as "2004's forgotten gem". Backe and Lidge combined on a one-hitter while Woody Williams allowed only one hit through 7 before Isringhausen blew it. Problem was, Game 5 of Sox/Yanks was still going on at the time, so the NL game got shuffled to FX for most of the country. I think Sox/Yanks didn't end until around the 8th or top of the 9th of Cards/Stros because I remember the network going over to it and seeing Kent's homer not too much later.

Yes, Bioshock definitely has it's own creepy atmosphere. One umatched by any other game out there. L4D seems more like a game to be enjoyed online with others and Bioshock is more a single-player experience, so what she prefers might be the decider.

God that game hurt. My entire body was hurting for three days after that game. I damn near gave up baseball after that game. I walked around in a stupor for days. I can recall almost everything my about experience while watching that game, including where I was, what I was doing, who was with me and what happened afterwards. Every little detail is just ingrained in my head. I was in Miami for the Pats game that weekend and had massive jet lag, so I left the hotel bar where everyone was watching the game to go to my room and lie down after Clemens was pulled and watched the rest in bed. I still remember the rest of my group drunkenly stomping to their rooms while the two or three Yankee fans we had were whooping it up. It actually was good that I wasn't in the area for the game because just about everyone I knew was incredibly depressed. It was my generation's 1986. The Pats won that weekend so that saved it a bit.

The Rays may regress, but they got Burrell, Longoria will play a full season and guys like BJ Upton should be healthy, so I don't think their offensive production will take that big a hit. I don't think it'll improve to better than middle of the pack, but it won't drop. Their pitching is still there and David Price should have a bigger role, possibly as the new closer. It'll be another dogfight in the East this year.

But they didn't really kick Goldberg's winning streak angle into gear until a few months into '98.

Is it me, or could the WWF have done a Goldberg-esque run with Kane about 6 months before WCW got the idea? He had the cool entrance, did nothing but destroy people, and came across as an unstoppable monster. It always seemed like they were kind of gunshy to just run with Kane running roughshod over the fed leading to a Hell in the Cell match with Undertaker at a WrestleMania. Obviously the way they went turned out ok for them, but I wonder why Kane never got a title push aside from the brush with Austin later in '98.

On most monitors, it takes about 5 seconds to scroll to the bottom. If you are too lazy to do THAT, you don't deserve a computer, let alone the ability to post.

That's the problem right there. How can you decide anything if you haven't been paying attention to it? Just because YOU don't think the wrestling folders matter doesn't mean that others don't and come here mostly for that. I'd be for having WWE, TNA and a General folder for everything else, but maybe it would be a better idea to actually ask the people that are active over there what they think? (Oh God, I sound like Bob now. I don't wanna feel like this!)

Now we need someone to find the pizza clip and all will be right with the world. Have Clarke and Leary been in the booth together since, or did NESN put the kibosh on that after this?

Plus, with how the free agency period has unfolded so far, it seems like teams are being cautious with their spending and are reticent to dole out the big money (the Yankees are the only exception) so guys like Papelbon who are waiting for a big score probably wouldn't find as many offers as he would have 2 or 3 years ago. That's why I think Manny hasn't been signed; his demands that would have been acceptable in 2004 aren't in 2009.

I'm actually pretty satisfied with Boston's offseason so far. The talent they had last year, even with the injuries, got them to the edge of another World Series, so it wasn't like they needed to completely revamp like New York and thus toss out giant contracts like candy. They're doing what I think they should: lock up the young nucleus of the team while picking their spots with low risk contracts to fill whatever holes they do have. If Ortiz and/or Lowell don't bounce back next season, they still have the prospects to swing some sort of deal at the deadline.

Must have been the finger in the Dodger Dog that did him in.

I had completely forgotten about "NWA North American Champion" Jeff Jarrett. I echo Penguin's thoughts; it wasn't a bad show, but nothing special.

Why is the Bash there? Booker's title win? -
Dear God, who the fuck thought giving Pete Doherty 10+ minutes was a good idea? And he WON! I guess that's one of his five wins.

A #1 seed might as well be like throwing a box of black cats in front of the team.
