A recharge stand, most definitely. It pays for itself after a few months. Also, maybe some of those Nerf armor sleeves for the controllers; they're thicker than the standard ones so they should be able to better protect against abuse. Other than that, a lot of the stuff is just extraneous crap that really isn't worth the money. That's what I tell most people I sell them to, anyway.

Penny maybe, but I'd rather they keep developing someone like Masterston or Buchholz instead of giving an injury risk like Sheets 3 or 4 years. Varitek I'd only like back for one year so they can focus on finding their catcher of the future; I have very little hope that he will be anything but a sub-.250 hitter.

Shaun Ellis got fined the same amount for throwing a big chunk of snow into the crowd in Seattle. Obviously hurling a large mass of frozen water into the stands is just as bad as a snow angel. I really don't get these "excessive celebration" things in the first place; in most stadiums fireworks go off after a TD and some sort of rock song blares through the PA, how is a guy taking 5-10 seconds to flex his muscles or something excessive?

When I was involved, I considered it as sort of a creative writing experience. You basically think up promos and matches and write them out yourself or along with someone else. It isn't an everyday thing; usually you do something once a week for the weekly show (even though you didn't need to do it every week) and then something for the end of the month show. I kinda fell out of love with wrestling so the well ran dry, but it was fun to think of situations and crazy gimmick matches to write. This is pretty much right. It's gone from a joke fed to a creative writing exercise, slowly but surely. It's still stupid when it needs to be, we just write more words than before. The only thing I'd contest is that people write something once a week. The work-ethic isn't nearly so high. Also, we have like 8 mods and 6 regular(ish) writers, so figure that out. I'm one of them (the mods) and I haven't written anything in, what, 2 years now?
