I find EVERYONE on Futurama to be incredibly annoying. Seriously, that's an awful show. I'd even take present day Simpsons over Futurama, 10 times out of 10. Oh, no, you didn't.

Wait, wait, wait: 5 "went in to law", but only 1 got arrested? C'mon. </tasteless joke>

::cancels flight to Indiana:: You'd need to stick it in a non-obvious spot. Get up underneath the undercarriage somewhere.

Might want to pick up 1 of those "hide-a-key" things, and hide a spare key on the truck somewhere.

"Behind the Music: Electric Mayhem" Beautiful.

And yet they do it over and over and over and over and over and over...

Pearl Jam's supposed to be touring, so needless to say I'll be there.

The last 2 years, yeah, but in '03 and '02 it did pretty good (in '02 it outdrew Summer Slam, and in '03 was pretty close to Slam).

Armageddon and No Way Out, respectively. Going back to last May, 2 of the 3 lowest bought PPV's involved JBL in the ME (No Mercy & NWO).

What bad breaks are you referring to? Eddy couldn't handle the pressure of being on top, he was so disappointed in himself that ratings and buyrates didn't improve with him as champ. I wouldn't necessarily say he caught a bad break, he just couldn't handle the pressure. Bad breaks: -Angle was hurt -Show was hurt -Brock left -Book turned heel, but they were flirting w/ the voodoo character for him, as well as making him Taker's bitch -they didn't want to turn Taker heel (or Taker refused) -they refused to put RVD in the ME -JBL's mega-push was beginning Eddie was never really given any support elsewhere on the show, so when the show started to go south, Eddie felt he had to shoulder all/most of the blame, even though circumstances were largely out of his hands. If they would have elevated RVD and Book into the ME spots, as well as feud Taker w/ Eddie, and then use the cruisers & the tag scene to hold up the mid & lower card, while slowly building up JBL, things would have (IMO) turned out much better for both Eddie & the SD brand.

How awesome has Palpatine been in the prequels? So far, he's been keeping it on the down-low, pulling *all* the strings in the background to orchestrate his rise to power, and then he finally, finally goes balls-to-the-wall bad ass in Episode 3. "Are you threatening me, Master Jedi?" Dude should have "Bad Motherfucker" engraved on his lightsaber hilt. I thought Yoda busting out the lightsbaer skills was a mark-out moment in Ep. 2, but, man, I can't wait to see Palpatine do the same in Ep. 3.

Movie moments you marked out for.

Yeah, save us a spot in line.

A couple times, I've had a thread open for a long time, and then I'll refresh it, only to see it say 0 users are reading the topic, even though I'd be logged in & in the thread. -
Dead Like Me Mason, George, & Daisy are running the seance scam, and the "cops" show up. Mason dives out the window in the back to get away, while George just opens the door & walks out.

NewsRadio Dave: "Bill? I stole your cane." Followed by Bill running through a series of new canes. "This one displeases me." The news blurb about the Death Star's destruction in the space episode. Dave: "What really turns me on is when Lisa's mad at me." Lisa (off screen, angrily): "DAVE! ARE YOU COMING!" Dave: "Oh, yeaaaah." The scene in the dark at the end of the episode where Matthew went to Japan. Jimmy James's bookreading. "I'm Bill McNeil...on CRACK...I like...BOYS." During the episode when the building was on fire, and Dave is explaining the benefits of the key-card entry system for the office. He shows the 1 particular visual aid w/ the Hamburglar-looking guy on the horse, and Matthew says "hey, I've seen that guy!" (seen most notably in the episode where Katherine leaves, and that same guy knocks the coffee pot out of Matthew's hands in his version of the events). GI Joe The end of "The Viper" episode. X-Files Pretty much the entire episode w/ the vampires (had Luke Wilson and the 1 kid from The Sandlot in it). Not for those 2 guys, the episode was just so funny. In "Diary of a Cigarette Smoking Man" (I think that was the title), when CSM says the Buffalo Bills will never win the Super Bowl as long as he is in power.

I knew they were going to square off, but seeing it "live" made me all giddy. When I saw him throwing the pods, I was like "Daaaaaaaaamn!"

Oh, shit, I can't wait to see this movie. Yoda vs. Palpatine in the Senate? Palpatine w/ a lightsaber?!?! Oh, baby.
-
What's wrong with that?

Bashams have been picking it up lately. They've had some good matches vs. Rey/Eddie as well as vs. Haas/Holly last week on Velocity. Put me down for liking SD over Raw, too.

Colts thinking about trading Edgerrin? I'd take Edgerring over Alexander, but apparently Saban isn't interested in Edge. At least see what it would take to get him. Maybe you could keep either the 2nd pick or Surtain, rather than giving up both for Alexander.

I'll wait until I get home to watch it. I guess this means I won't have to keep tabs on "The OC" tonight to watch it (hooray!).
