They'd have to somehow explain that whole "falling 30 feet to concrete" bump that Angle took, though.
-
Smackdown wasn't bad. Not as good as last week, but pretty solid.
-
You want Roberto Hernandez instead?
-
Fantastic. Roberto Horrendous loses the game for the Phillies.
-
Man, the Phillies suuuuuure love to go up to the plate hacking.
-
Hey, *you* can assume that. I'm going to assume he still sucks. Paul Heyman can do everything he can, but when the guy can't get it done in the ring, the fans aren't going to care.
-
Yeah, the crowds love him, but I wouldn't hold up WWE crowds as bellwethers of quality entertainment. Book & Cena really seem to mesh well in the ring. Book looks really motivated again, and the 2 are having some damn entertaining matches.

Any team with Stevie Ray.

And I'm LOVING Knoble's Tiger Driver.
-
Hey, Confederate flag gone from Knoble's tights, replaced by "01". And I'm not buying Spike dominating Chavo & Knoble at the same time.

I don't believe I ever saw that porno.

Hey, another Kylie sighting. Yikes, that grill... And Michael Ian Black just owned the "Reality Bites" segment from 1994.

Are you sure it's not a case of Jackson seeing the team falling apart, and getting the hell out so he doesn't go down with the ship? Besides, Jackson is overrated. Sure, he's a good coach, but I wouldn't call him great. He won his titles with tremendously talented teams. Let's see him take over a down-trodden team and build a title-winner.

Smackdown (*Spoilers*) for 07/15/04
Spaceman Spiff replied to Kurt Angle Mark's topic in The WWE Folder
Still means SD is missing a ME-level guy. Didn't have to go to Raw. HHH made that call. Show was busting his ass, and was pulling his own weight in non-Brock feuds. He was a legit ME/upper card guy on the show. Riiight. He carried Brock the whole time. They may or may not still be on Raw, but the fact is they moved them to SD, and then dropped the ball on each. These 2 could have been used to freshen up the ME/upper card, but instead get buried in go-nowhere positions in the midcard. And, IIRC, we did hear reports that Book was unhappy with jobbing to Taker, but by now he's likely resigned to the fact that they'll never give him a serious push. And reports are that Brock was going to play job boy for Taker, and that they had no set plans for him post-WM. Bottom line, the WWE had plenty of opportunities and options to make up for the loss of Brock, and failed to come through on all of them. -

IIRC, "POW" refers to a member of a standing army, while "enemy combatant" refers to rogue fighters, i.e. terrorists. If that's wrong, feel free to correct me. -

And it fails to pass. And check out a quote from PA's favorite senator, Rick Santorum, from this article: http://www.billingsgazette.com/index.php?i...gop-divided.inc Rick Santorum: embarrassing us Pennsylvanians yet again. -
If I choose a post count below 100, would I still be able to change my user title at will?

Smackdown (*Spoilers*) for 07/15/04

Hey just remember none of this (JBL run) had to happen if it wasn't for Big Baby Brock. So when he comes crying back to Vince, make sure he gets some of your hatred ok? -Benoit to Raw -Edge to Raw -Big Show hurt -Angle hurt -RVD & Booker buried in the midcard Yeah, it's all Brock's fault Not that he'll be coming back any time soon, but I'd welcome him back w/ open arms. And speaking of Haas, didn't Angle make a Haas/Reigns match for this show a couple weeks ago? What happened? -

Smackdown (*Spoilers*) for 07/15/04

Spike pins Knoble in that tag match. Guess he's gotta get that job back, even after beating Knoble like 3/4 straight times. Grr.... Also, according to the Insider, there's a "Heidenreich coming to SD" promo. Wow, they've learned nothing from Nathan Jones, Suzuki, Mordecai. -
I'm not feeling HHH/Orton in any permutation of heel/face dynamic.
-
Where's Kotz? I saw ::shudder:: Kylie in the 1992 show.

I'll go on record as saying those segments were fantastic, too. Such a shame it had to get killed. Plus, I had a little thing for Chastity, which didn't hurt.
