Plus, I'm pretty sure Dusty Rhodes owns the trademarks/rights to a few of those WCW PPV names (not sure which ones, though). Well, if the reports are to be believed, it's not like he *could* put on good matches. And those demographics are interesting. Almost 1/2 the audience is 35+. They better be careful, or all these "retro-gimmicks" (i.e. Mordecai, Booka Shango) might turn off a good portion of the audience.

Will Stevie Y be ready by the time the tourney starts? That was a pretty brutal eye injury he sustained, so it might be cutting it close as to whether he'll be ready. Hitchcock was saying in the Philly papers that Primeau may be the 1st alternative should anyone not be able to play because of injuries.

Usage & booking hurt Knoble (jobbing to Spike???), but his ring work has been wonderful. If you take into account Velocity, he's had 2 fantastic matches (vs. London, vs. Rey). The only reason they dont use him is because of his size. Other than that, he does everything the WWE wants their guys to do - work the mat, not many high/risky spots, good grasp of psychology, can cut a good promo (when he doesn't have to use the uber-redneck accent). It's obvious by watching him work that he's studied a lot of Benoit. The WWE is *so* missing out on not using the cruisers. That'd help them out on SD, plus giving them 1-2 more matches to fill out their PPV's.

Konnan should feud w/ Grand Master Sexay.
-
76ers - Moses Malone, Terry Catledge, and 2 first round picks for Jeff Ruland. Ruland played 5 games before injuring his knee, forcing his retirement. Phillies - Ryne Sandberg & Larry Bowa for Ivan DeJesus. No need to elaborate here.

Hmm, I like the opening the way it is now (although, I liked the 1 or 2 versions before the re-draft better [without the "Raw guys" - I'm not buying Spike as Mr. Intensity]). And nice to see they put the guy who's been on the show ~3 times in the last 6 or 7 months right up front in the intro.

Heh. 6 HR's in the game, which the Giants win 4-3.
-
You're selling out the Illadelph for NYC? Boo.
-
Odd Phils/Giants game. 4 HR's already (none by Bonds, but Jason Schmidt has 1), but it's only a 3-2 game. 3 solo for the Giants, and 1 for the Phils.

During a Jericho/Juvy match on Thunder (I think), Jericho hit Juvy with a backbreaker, only Tony was a bit excited and blurted out "BRECKBREAKER!" Not stopping there, he then proceeds to call a choke by Jericho on Juvy a bit later about 1.5 seconds before Jericho actually applied it.

Now he's got more time to stiff auto body shops, per God's orders.

Instead of bringing in Konnan, why not, I dunno, PUSH REY. Y'know, instead of having him be jobber to the big guys?
-
Amusingly enough, I just banned this person. fork it over, spff. I threw in an extra 20. Don't spend it all in 1 place.

I noticed this the last couple days. At work (DSL) and home (Cable), it's been loading extremely slow every now & then. During the day/afternoon, not just at night. Anyone else notice that?

Oh, please tell me nobody actually SAID that. *sigh* Any chances that the "superior officer" who told her to pose for pictures was her FRIGGIN' BOYFRIEND? -=Mike Not quite, but the guy who got her pregnant is another guard involved (Army Reserve Spec. Charles A. Graner Jr.). He's 35. She's 21. Philly Inquirer article about Graner (you have to sign up to read it [free to do so], the above quote is from here, I just didn't feel the need to quote the entire article) Some more about Graner:
-
That'd be more entertaining than watching Konnan.

For what's it worth, here's a "better" set of spoilers from 411 (better in the sense that there's more details).

Helms: "Holy crap, Jazz is naked over there!" Mack: "AHHHH! Oh, wait......dammit." --Or-- Helms: "OK, Rodney, bust out your 'King Hippo' impression!"

Eddie wasn't. Hell, I think he was actually in the WWF/E by that point.

Weak. I already know Berlin sucks. Plus, the Kylie pic doesn't work. Color me "disappointed". -

You must have missed it, but when Ferecito intro's Snoop for the 1st time, he called him "Snoop Perro" (however "dog" is spelled in Spanish). -
AHAHAHAHA! Good riddance.

He's pretty spot-on with his criticism's of the WWE. He's still a talentless hack who should have never been brought in, though. Heh.
