BBQ wings for me. I like the occasional hot wing, but if I'm making a meal out of it, BBQ is my preference. Also... Spoiler (Highlight to Read): I'm also a pussy when it comes to eating them - I use a knife & fork. Hey, I don't feel like getting sauce all over my face & hands.

Why not? Smaller, faster guy uses his speed & agility to hit & run. Get a few good shots in on his knees/legs, and big guy can't stand up. From there, the small guy is more or less in charge. Against a big guy like Brock, it may not work, but Big Show isn't exactly Mr. Agility, so that strategy could realistically work on him. If you want to hit up RavishingRickRudo, he can give you some MMA examples of small guys taking out big guys, if you're so inclined.

It's just Rikishi vs. Chuck. Go Chuck!

Boo. The 2 tag matches on Velocity look good, and SD looks OK. Cruiser tag, Eddy vs. Bashams, and Cena/Rey should be good. Whaaaaaaat? I know it won't be on TV, but I found this to be pretty funny.

Why not? In WCW, during his "giant killer" angle, Misterio scored pinfalls against Nash & Scott Norton.

*Some* extra weight? The dude could hardly move his arms, he was so bloated. Uh-oh... Yeah, why bother entertaining fans at a house show? It's not like any are involved in any current storylines, so might as well have them give the fans their money's worth, rather than kick-punch-chinlock. Bah. When was the last time he even connected w/ it?

Hey, push Nathan Jones to the moon! He's new! I fail to see what's so evil about "the IWC" wanting them to push talented new guys, as opposed to just any new guy just because he's new.

Ric Flair: Greatest worker, wrestler...
Spaceman Spiff replied to Downhome's topic in The WWE Folder
I'd take Austin's last heel run over practically anything the Rock has done. He was on fire in the ring and on the mic. And Rey has the chance to be better than Flair? I like Rey, but we've seen the best out of him already, IMO. And with his knees, unless he revamps his style (most notably - cut out the West Coast Pop, which he has really scaled back), I don't know how much longer he'll be around. -
As for the match, I'm pretty sure JR noted at the beginning that guys had to wrestle guys, and girls wrestle girls. He changed it up later in the match, so either he forgot, or he was told to change it mid-match. As for the move, it was sloppy execution on Heidenreich's part. He basically just threw Stevie to the mat. Stevie couldn't control his landing, so Heidenreich is at fault.

So, anybody betting on Morgan/Jones squashing Kendrick/London, also?

Oh yeah! Brynn! Give me a high five bro! I'd hit that shit! It was a shame Brynn was never at the house much in Vegas so we could see more of her. That girl was smoking hot. Great body, beautiful eyes and a great smile, looks like she's down to earth but has a wild side to her as well. Trishelle's pretty hot herself, but IMO I'd go for Brynn first over Trishelle. How about when they were choreographing the dance routine on the skis? Hot damn! Brynn was all kinds of hot moving that body.

I never heard about that. Are you sure you're not thinking of Brock? quick on the draw there... woosh. Now all we have to do is wait for Goldberg to do the Van Terminator... Um...I believe you are confused with TBS... It's a legend that in his early wcw days, He was capable of hitting a SSP. Moonsault, not SSP.

I thought that was fucking hilarious, and he didn't manage the rest of the game...he just leaned in the tunnel and then sat on the end of the bench I thought it was pretty disrespectful. Yeah, I'm sure every ejected manager probably relays info to the bench. But don't come back to the bench in disguise (and a pretty poor one, at that).
-
Oh, that Austin. He's a rattlesnake, you never know what he'll do next.
-
Y'know, Lesnar/Show vs. Angle/Benoit sounds really fun, so long as they don't pull any of those "house show shenanigans". Eddy vs. Bashams sounds fun, too.

I wouldn't be in favor of an "off season", however you could cycle guys off TV and house shows to give them a break & keep them fresh. Give wrestlers X, Y, Z some time off - lets them get some time off, while others keep working. X, Y, Z come back, and then A, B, C get some time off. Much better that way - only a few guys at a time miss getting paid (maybe give them a minimum amount), plus you can build up anticipation when they're ready to come back. The last thing you want is somebody getting really over w/ the fans, only to have the WWE shut down for a few months. EDIT: I should mention Loss4Words (among others) is a big proponent of staggering the off-time, so this is basically his (and their) idea (lest I be accused of ripping anyone off).

Can't stand Bobby V. Just seems so smarmy. I had been pretty indifferent to him, but the "get ejected and come back to the bench wearing the fake nose & glasses" incident really turned me against him.
-
And here we are 2 years later, and the buy-out guys *still* job in practically every match.

I didn't really consider what Moore was doing on Velocity face or heel. Yes, he teamed with Hurricane, but he didn't express any kind of character whatsoever (not that nodding your head and shrugging is doing him that much better.) I think she meant this most recent Velocity, where Moore wrestled Tajiri.

So, I need the Patriots to win for me to win. But, I'm a Dolphins fan, so the PAts winning hurts me there. Hmmmm.... Fuck it, go Broncos. You can have the win, raz.

--1 pair of sneakers (all purpose - everyday use, basketball, etc.) --black work shoes (casual dress) --brown work shoes (casual dress) --1 pair of "outside work" boots --1 pair of golf shoes --1 pair of spikes (football, softball) No sandals/flip flops/etc. I've got this thing about not wearing "open" shoes/sandals (but yet I have no problem going barefoot - wierd)
