    American troops shoot Iraqi child

http://www.abc.net.au/news/newsitems/s1000100.htm I'm sure something will be ignored if this story breaks.. maybe the big-ass gun. Hey, they only shot him in the foot, but i'm sure somebody will complain.

    Trish/Jerich & Xitan/Lita

I think this should result in Lita turning heel, because I can't stand her. "So what if they bet on that Trish? It's not like it's the first time that's happened to me. Anyways, I nailed Jericho first." Cue Christian/Trish-Lita/Jericho feudness

    Schilling traded to Red Sox

Damn.. Cartman and me have the same Sig quote. I'd have to side with Bear. Sharks don't have as much area to live in as Bears. Also, Bears have more ways to kill than Sharks. How else can a Shark kill you except biting you? He can't kill you with his tail! Schilling is on the money.. Sharks are overrated. Bears rule.

    To the Weaver Haters

Anglesault, the Yankees are the victims of the Republican Curse. They last won the World Series during a GOP administration in 1958. After that, they've lost five straight world series (1960, 1976, 1981, 2001, 2003) during Republican administrations. Give up hope in 2004 and vote Democrat for a Yankee win in 2005.

    Schilling traded to Red Sox

I read a story on Schilling and that board (which is down right now).. and they mentioned his username on there (Gehrig38) a short search reveals that he also posted on gamers boards and on the Phillies usenet group

    Schilling traded to Red Sox

Kim could be traded to the Rockies. He's already has a .187 career BA, I'd imagine that he'd hit .230 in Coors Field. I don't think the Rockies have a good second baseman though.

    Schilling traded to Red Sox

Except that Pedro and Schilling will be 32 and 37 in 2004. While Mays was 26 and Ruth was 23 in 1918. At the age of 36, Schilling is most similar to Bret Saberhagen. Granted, Bret didn't pitch when he was 36 (in 2000). But Bret also pitched 3 games at 37.

supposedly if the Big XII doesn't get Colorado eligible, they'll get KU in Fort Worth and let an at-large take the Tangerine Bowl

    Official College Football thread

supposedly K-State will be screwed, yet again first, the Cotton Bowl wants Oklahoma State instead of K-State, K-State would get the Alamo Bowl second, if Texas A&M beats Texas, then K-State ends up playing in the Independence Bowl. What a load of crap. K-State has to beat OU to get a respectible bowl game. Considering the bowl games are doing all they can to screw them over

    The Official MLB Offseason Topic

Why don't you do it big guy? Michael Jordan hit .200 in AA I'd imagine that he's be a better athlete than Plunderin the Great, the High School football linebacker.

yeah.. Type A and Type B bums. I'd say all 3 were good signings. And some other free agent news Jose Lima is unhappy with the 500K/1 year offer, he'd take 1M/1 year from KC. How about this rumor from an interview on the radio with the Royals General Manager Allard Baird No agent on the night before Thanksgiving Sounds like Allard has a hot dinner date.

Bored, you can pencil Auburn in the Music City Bowl and Arkansas into the Independence Bowl.. just for one reason Arkansas played in the MC Bowl last year, and the Independence Bowl wants to put Arkansas in the game to face Missouri

In 3 out of the 7 Cotton Bowls since the Big 12 title game, the loser of the title game went to the Cotton Bowl. A&M (in 1997), Texas (in 1999) and Kansas State (in 2000). The other 4? Orange Bowl (Nebraska, K-State went to Dallas), Alamo Bowl (K-State, Texas went to Dallas and Colorado, Texas went to Dallas again), Holiday Bowl (Texas, Oklahoma went to Dallas) Kansas State is the only Big 12 North team to ever go to the Cotton Bowl during the life of the "Big 8 + Texas".
