Meanwhile in other news Tom Gamboa was fired by the Royals. Then again, he was the bullpen coach and the Royals bullpen ERA was the worst in baseball

Sox.. Bring back Terry Bevington!

Carlos Lee is too high of a price to pay for an overrated, has-been manager whose specialty is micromanaging his way into one playoff failure after another. I was going to suggest Magglio for TLR hahaha.. so, should KC fans want LaRussa in Chicago?
-
Any ideas on where these guys will be going? Manuel might get another job as a coach. Hargrove.. maybe not Also.. I hear LaRussa is the guy that Chicago wants. The White Sox would have to compensate the Cardinals for LaRussa, right? (like Winn for Piniella) How about Carlos Lee to the Cardinals for TLR (moving Pujols to First Base)? I know the Cardinals are looking to cutdown on salaries (Tino is gone after this year) I hear Eddie Murray is the next manager in Baltimore. Which is good if you like the idea of what Trammell has done in Detroit. What happened to Cito Gaston?

what are the odds that this story is exaggerated? -
I changed my manager of the year vote from OLD AL Manager of the Year 1. Tony Pena 2. Ken Macha 3. Lou Piniella to NEW AL Manager of the Year 1. Ron Gardenhire 2. Ken Macha 3. Grady Little I explain it on my ballot

Her name is Jennie Finch

KU's four wins are over UNLV, Wyoming, Jacksonville State, and Missouri KU will probably be 5-2 when they go into Manhattan to face K-State (they'll beat Baylor and lose to Colorado)
-
"Dear Rome, Did you see Lou Merloni move that runner over to 3rd with nobody out? That may merit MVP consideration. Sincerely, Peter Gammons"

I changed my votes again amazing what four home runs in a game can do for your MVP status!

WON'T SOMEBODY THINK OF THE CHILDREN!?!??!?!?!? Never mind that the hysteria over pedophiles and other sick fucks isn't enough to force MSN down, remember, it's an EXCUSE. Not a reason. Sure, there is no way in hell that they could stop everybody from doing that sort of thing. It's remotely possible to stop some of the sicker rooms from being made, but it appears that they want to end conversations between people. Go here - http://chat.msn.com/find.msnw?cat=TN I guarantee you will find some odd rooms. MSN is selling out for the money again, for the fools that want to put up money to still chat. Let me quote something. That hits the point. MSN doesn't want to, nor can they police this sort of thing. Nothing sort of 'whisper monitoring' can stop that. Anybody have any numbers on how many MSN meetings end up with stuff like that happening? I bet MSN thinks of charging for Messenger too, I bet that'd make the children safer too. MSN gotta be the nanny, since none of these children have parents or anything. Anybody else see this as a stupid move (inspired by an excuse)?

Their names were David and Scott Hillenbrand, just in case you wanted to know. They've directed 'Hostile Takeover', then 'King Cobra' (with Pat Morita and Scott Hillenbrand and some giant snake. "There are countless things in this film that are truly laughable, including the scene where Pat Morita tells Hillenbrand that he injects himself with snake venom to acquire an immunity to it. You can see the regret in Pat's eyes. He knows this is a stinky movie, and he hates having to say what he's saying."), and also 'Pinata: Survival Island' aka 'Demon Island', starring Jaime Pressly ("DEMON ISLAND is such a bad movie that it doesn't even give the people who seeks it out to watch it in the first place what they came for."). Pinata: Survival Island is about some teens in Mexico who are haunted by a demon inside a pinata. No, that is not some joke. Anyways.. they're the guys behind 'National Lampoon's Dorm Daze' (starring Tatiyana Ali, Topanga, The Shermanator, Ham Porter and Boti Bliss as the hooker) I came into the thing thinking that the NL movies have sucked lately. And even after they talked, and we saw the other trailers, and after I got a movie poster. I had to check on the movie. Well, the critics say.. it sucks. "It's not just that "Dorm" is crass, juvenile and full of toilet humor. That's standard stuff for raunchy comedies. The killer is that it's totally devoid of humor. At a preview screening, college-age viewers -- the movie's prime target audience -- were walking out less than halfway through. I was jealous." "The longer the film runs, the more interesting a watchdial becomes." Ya know, my poster will stay with me. No matter how badly the film bombs. Just because it might become valuable crap. Anybody else heard of this movie? For a movie with some good looking people (Fishel) and some funny people (Patrick Renna), you'd think a better movie would come out, but from what I've seen and heard, it ain't happening. "It's a free country, I can get a whore if I want to!"

Where did I land on the California ticker? Me for Governor! Gagne for Closer!

Arnold would be a great governor for Callyforneah!

Tyler, you sure you're not voting for this Comejo guy?

Graeme seems like a nice guy, but he fucking sucks as a pitcher. The Royals are 1 and 14 in the games that he's pitched. Not to mention that he was acquired as a 'left-handed specialist' and Pena never really used him in that role. Oh yeah, it didn't help that he SUCKED against LHB too.

Whoa.. it's been 35 years since a new university was dedicated in California

"Bustamante finished college four months ago" And he looks like a catfish too
-
'Mr. Sharpe, any comments' Bustamante, I think you need to stop eating so many fish tacos. How do you expect a man who can't decide between having a full head of hair or being bald to be able to make the decisions. I don't care if you wrote a textbook bill because I wrote the Bill of Rights. Amendment I: You have the right to have your ass kicked by me. Amendment II: You have the right to medical care after I kick your ass Amendment III: Buy the t-shirt Amendment IV: Eric Gagne's facial hair must be pre-emptively attacked Amendment V: Say your prayers because when they say "One Nation under God, they're talking about me"

I will now run for governor and answer questions ---- What do you expect to accomplish in the time remaining on Gray Davis’ term that he could not? I expect to finally lose my virginity and also I will attempt to solve the budget crisis by having Al Davis held by his ankles and shaken for loose change -------- How would you propose enhancing revenue and/or what specific cuts would you propose to achieve a balanced budget? I will enact a 'Bonds home run tax', charging the citizens of California a sum of $500 dollars for each home run that Barry Bonds hits. A tax of $10 dollars will be charged for each walk he earns. ---------- Everybody talks about wanting a colorblind society, but what does that actually mean to you? In other words, how do we know when we have succeeded? We have succeeded whenever men and women of all races can loot and pillage together as a show of rage after a jury decision -------- Leaders in the business community are convinced that this state is losing jobs and unable to attract new businesses. If you agree, what are two things you would change to make this a more business-friendly state? If you disagree, what are the misconceptions you would like to correct? I disagree. With all the illegal immigrants in this state, the oppertunities for business are endless. You just have to be creative enough to think of these ideas. -------- How are you going to insure that all Californians have adequate healthcare? Homeless people will live in the Arrowhead Pond to protect them from the elements. I will also expect Californians to learn how to fend for themselves and practice self-surgery ------ What should be the top priority for California right now? More costly recall elections ---------- If elected Governor, will you support the expansion of charter schools in California? I will support the expansion, if the school can build a new stadium with skyboxes and 40,000 people. Then that school will get the Expos ------ What is the single most important piece of legislation either signed or vetoed during this past legislative session? The one that people got really pissed off about -------- Do you support reducing the Vehicle License Fee (car tax), and if so, where would you find the revenue to replace the loss to the budget? I support reducing the Car Tax. I will make up for the loss in revenue by selling our orphans to sterile couples for a hefty fee ------ What services will your Administration expect local governments to provide and what stable source of revenue will you give them to do it? I will expect Local governments to stop bitching at Sacramento. I'll let them have a Visa, but if they go over the limit, it's shit city for them! -------- Under Governors Pat Brown and Ronald Reagan, California spent up to 20% of its General Fund on Infrastructure - such as roads, bridges, colleges, hospitals and water systems. Now we spend closer to 1%. Proposition 53 on the ballot raises that figure to 3%. What are your positions on Prop. 53 and what will you do to invest more in California's aging infrastructure? I'm for a hike to 2%, and I will also repaint the intrastructure to make it look new. -------------- As our population continues to age, the demand for government services to seniors will increase dramatically during the next decade. What do you intend to do to proactively manage this demand? More Matlock, that should distract them
