As long as you can pass your drug test..

Random point: If I felt like spending 30 bucks right now, I could join the NAACP. Anything else you want to mention to back that up? I'm sure that if they were that bigoted, there'd be something else. Maybe racial slurs. Or something of that sort. He is invited to speak at the National Urban League conference in under two weeks. And i'm sure that he might have some links to other black groups too. Even if he's turned down the largest of these groups for four straight years. I'm sure there's other links. As for adding Powell.. what do you expect the effects will be of a Bush/Powell ticket?
-
NAACP = KKK Ooooook. I must have missed the murders with links to the NAACP. Or the NAACP barbecue. I'm sure there's other ways to state how absurd that comparison is. As for reasons. Hm.. i'm sure there's reasoning for turning them down four times and being irritated. Bush isn't fooled like Reagan and others. Ya know.

How about this.. from OOTP5: 17 innings Royals @ Red Sox Jimmy Gobble throws 8 innings for me. Allowing 11 hits, 3 runs (2 earned) Dicky Gonzalez throws 6 2/3 innings, 5 hits, 4 runs allowed So going into the 9th, it's 4-3 Ryan Bukvich, my closer, gives up the tying run. But pitches well in 3 innings. I then have to use 5 more pitchers. Bottom of the 17th, Konerko knocks in JJ Davis for the winning run, 5-4 Red Sox Numbers from the game: JJ Davis (Bos): 4 for 7, 3 runs Adam Morrissey (KC): 3 for 6, 1 HR, 3 RBI Deivis Santos (KC): 0 for 7, 4 K Mike Sweeney (KC): 0 for 8 I didn't put in any subs. And my bench is questionable anyways. My lineup was Bobby Hill (3B) Dee Haynes (LF) [2 errors in this game] Sweeney (DH) Ken Harvey (1B) Maxim St. Pierre (Catcher) Quinton McCracken (CF) Morrissey (2B) Santos (RF) Berroa (SS) My bench was: Juan Brito (Catcher) Justin Gemoll (3B and hurt) Luis Gonzalez (SS) Luke Allen (RF, hurt) Boston countered with Damon (CF) [replaced by Chris Magruder, LF] Nomar (SS) Manny (RF) [replaced by Michael Keenum, 3B] Mark Bellhorn (2B) Mike Kinkade (DH) JJ Davis (RF) Yorvit Torrealba © [Kenny Perez pinch ran for him, Varitek replaced him] Konerko (1B) Shea Hillenbrand (3B) [replaced by Trot Nixon, CF] And one more thing.. I got the stupid umpire for the game. The Boston Manager was ejected in the 13th inning. Winner: John Rheinecker Loser: Curt Leskanic Time of game: 6 hours, 22 minutes

We demontrate our flaws here in HD! (check Mike's sig!) -
7-2 final in Baltimore. John Buck doubles, goes to third on a wild pitch, and scores on a sac fly by Graffanino (meanwhile, the pretty much worthless "leadoff" guy Desi Relaford flew out to shallow left with Buck on third) Mike Sweeney adds a solo home run and then Matt Stairs makes the third out

Comparing Wood and Greinke to Detroit's pitchers isn't that complimentary. Almost every 2003 Detroit pitcher was god-awful anyways. Only Bonderman really has much of a future. Maroth is awful. Cornejo is awful. The 2003 Tigers were last in the AL in strikeouts. Had they been able to strike out more people, they probably could have had a much better year. I'm not too concerned about Greinke. He's unique. Mike Wood is a concern, since he didn't strike enough people out in AA or AAA. Probably the second best pitcher in the KC system is Denny Bautista

7-0 for the Orioles The Royals follow up on 3 shutout losses and a shutout victory by being shut down for 8 innings. Stairs with 2 hits Mateo with 1 hit John Buck had a walk and nothing else is going on. Ruben Mateo was caught stealing for the first time today, making him 11 for 12 in stolen bases. I think there's a reason why he only tried 11 steals before coming to KC. One strikeout though 8 innings for KC pitching (1 by Wood, 0 by Field, Anderson and Sullivan). Proving once again that if you can't strike people out, YOU WILL LOSE

Better yet, let Bradshaw and Scott Steiner have a debate in the middle of the ring. Put it on PPV!

Honestly, lineup positioning means very little past the first inning, and given what Pena has to work with, I think Allard Baird is more to blame. Baird doesn't beat up the players and injure them Baird's been pretty freaking decent as a GM Baird and Pena aren't in the same page either. Examples: Mendy Lopez - Pena kept finding ways to put Mendy in games, even if he hit freaking .105, and Baird just sold Lopez's contract off to a Korean team. Adrian Brown - via Rotoworld: "May. 21, 2004 - 8:04 am et Royals' manager Tony Pena told reporters that Adrian Brown will continue to start against left-handed pitching. He will start in left field tonight and tomorrow against the A's Mark Mulder and Barry Zito. The 30-year-old Brown is not a fantasy worthy player." "May. 21, 2004 - 11:50 pm et Royals designated outfielder Adrian Brown for assignment. Manager Tony Pena must not have been in communication with GM Allard Baird when he said Brown would continue to play left field against left-handers. Brandon Berger will take over in that role." Pena is more to blame than Baird. Pena's the one batting a .201 hitter leadoff over our left-handed leadoff man of the future David DeJesus (9 for 37 at leadoff so far) BTW: today's bench is Damian Jackson, Ken Harvey, Alberto Castillo and Jose Bautista
-
And your Royals lineup for the day: Desi Relaford (3B) Tony Graffanino (2B) Mike Sweeney (1B) Matt Stairs (DH) Ruben Mateo (RF) Dee Brown (LF) Angel Berroa (SS) David DeJesus (CF) John Buck © Pena's batting a fucking .201 hitter leadoff and sending David DeJesus back down the lineup because.. i'm not really too sure. Probably because he's an idiot. DeJesus is the leadoff man of the future. And Relaford's getting to bat leadoff. Aaarrrrrrggghhhh

Go Andres Blanco and Ruben Gotay!

Apparently the stuff about forgiving people and blessing those who curse you doesn't apply to anything about conventions.
-
I'm pretty sure Powell won't be picked for this spot, and he's probably not that enthusiastic about being the Vice President. And Powell as VP won't factor in too much when it comes to African-American voters, who'll still vote for Kerry by a huge margin. And nevermind that Bush will be the first sitting President since Herbert Hoover to not attend an NAACP convention. But, ya know.. they called him 'names'.. so he's snubbed their convention for four straight years. It's justified. (Apparently Bush wasn't fooled like his daddy or Ronald Reagan, he knows that it's a trap. Ha ) Then again, the people who hate having Powell as Secretary of State probably won't be able to do anything if he's the VP candidate
-
The Royals sold opening day hero/.105 hitter (4 for 38) Mendy Lopez to the Samsung Lions of the Korean Baseball Organization. Mendy hits 13 home runs in 30 games in AAA, and he's off to Korea

Actually.. apparently there's an indy wrestler named "Truth Martini" (I think.. something like that anyways) with the same gimmick and he's been around for quite awhile.. Anyways, point is, I HIGHLY doubt WWE, or TNA, steal gimmicks/angles from anyone. It's not rare for people to have the same idea. Besides, WWE has a good creative team (Ha!), why would they need to steal ideas from anyone? I was messing around anyways. Carl Williams would pwn me if he wanted when it comes to that nickname
