Gonzo dropped an easy flyball with the bases loaded and all 3 runs scored. Johnson said something to him before going to the clubhouse and Gonzo followed him yelling back. The rest of the team went to break it up. All is not well in D-Back land. Such news makes me happy. I heard punches were thrown. Did Randy throw his punches sidearm?

Damian Jackson strikes out looking. Buck's the catcher. And he has 18 stolen bases in 7 years. In the years that they have CS info, that shows that he's 3 for 7. -- Also.. 2 runners score on a looper to Bigbie. 4-0 KC

Nothing like sending your catcher to steal home. and the Royals haven't scored for 31 and 1/3rds innings. Us stathead types like to bitch about smallball, but surprisingly, studies suggest that stealing home is a good move, provided you have a 1 in 3 chance of pulling it off. Even with your best hitter up to bat?

Let me see if I can explain this.. Angel Berroa steals second, goes beyond the bag, starts running towards third, and gets tagged out Meanwhile, Rafael Palmeiro legged out an infield hit.

Bruiser.. if you think that's bad.. you should watch how Tony Pena manages the Royals. Hint: Their leadoff hitter for 5 out of the last 6 games has been Desi Relaford. Who is hitting TWO-OH-TWO (34 for 171), 1 home runs, 10 RBI (and I've looked into this, he's the worst RBI man on the team too), His OPS is .541 And in their last 5 games (Sunday though tonight).. they have ONE FUCKING RUN One run in 40 innings At least Dusty Baker can get a team from 90 losses to the NLCS. Tony Pena couldn't do that.

Royals lineup tonight 1- Relaford (3B) 2- Graffanino (2B) 3- Sweeney (1B) 4- Harvey (DH) 5- Mateo (CF) 6- Stairs (RF) 7- Berroa (SS) 8- Dee Brown (LF) 9- John Buck © I can think of at least 3 things wrong with this lineup #1: Desi Relaford batting leadoff. But, Tony Pena, AL manager of the Year, insists on giving Desi insane amounts of playing time. Even if Graffanino is a better leadoff hitter. #2: Mike Sweeney is the best RBI man on this team, and Pena refuses to bat him fourth. Ken Harvey would be a much better #3 hitter. #3: Ruben Mateo batting 5th? I'm thinking we have a better right-handed hitter to bat 5th.. like Berroa I'm not too negative on Sweeney playing the field, even after missing 6 games with back spasms

    Bush Military records destroyed......

I'm going to wait awhile on this. Considering that the destruction took place in 1997.

    Should Bush Drop Cheney?

Hmm.. http://www.cnn.com/2004/ALLPOLITICS/05/11/cheney.health/ http://www.cnn.com/2003/ALLPOLITICS/07/08/cheney.health/ and i'm sure that would contradict Cheney, and various other reports. And bringing on Powell, Rudy or McCain probably isn't too likely. McCain turned Bush down in 2000. Rudy might be likely. But either one of those 3 moves the ticket to the left, when there's already some angry conservatives out there.

The GI is the same guy as the Sailor. The source picture is of the current version, which also has a new guy as the Leatherman. And it was sorta hard to blend Edwards head in with the Cowboy. You'll notice that the cowboy has an actual tan.

Meanwhile, here's more proof that Kerry and Edwards are more than just running mates: {j/k.. of course} Carl's waiting for 2008 for his "Get out of my freaking house" campaign"

was Drudge wearing his hat and a smi... ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww I suppose even asking WHY it matters would be a bit much... -=Mike it's called a weird joke Mike. No, I mean why would anybody here even CARE if Drudge is gay? If he is, more power to him. If he's not, oh well. No matter which way it goes, Brock is still a little troll. -=Mike I wouldn't. Although it'd be interesting to see how some on the right react to the news

I heard that elections will have to be postponed again in Afghanistan. *shrug* but they're free. Rob, do you wish to compare Afghanistan under the Taliban to Afghanistan now? -=Mike Seems there's a bit more opium, warlords are reigning over most parts, and elections will happen sometime. Compared to beating women in the streets, it's progress. Ya know.

JOTW, did you bash the press when Ford fell down some stairs? Hypocrite. I heard that elections will have to be postponed again in Afghanistan. *shrug* but they're free. Kerry/Edwards in 2004: "Let's see if we can force Dick Cheney to smile!"

#1 - I forget who the one guy was who claimed Drudge to be "closeted" [David something?] {doesn't matter either way, I just heard it} #2 - If only Kerry picked Carl from Aqua Teen Hunger Force as his running mate.
