The Phillies - Someone Make Me Feel Better
Rob E Dangerously replied to Spaceman Spiff's topic in Sports
So, if Bowa gets canned, would he be a good manager for Kansas City? -
Buck and DeJesus combined: .185/.232/.185 Beltran with the Astros (though tonight): .250/.346/.545 Royals since trading Beltran: 1-11 Hm.. yep.. trading Beltran was a good idea
-
3 straight shutout losses for the Royals. 1 run in 36 innings for the Royals 1-11 since the trade Meanwhile.. Buck/DeJesus: 12 hits, 0 HR, 2 RBI, 3 walks/17 strikeouts Beltran the Astro: 11 hits, 4 HR, 7 RBI, 6 walks/5 strikeouts I wouldn't mind if they canned Pena
-
1 run in 35 1/3 innings for the Royals IN-FUCKING-EPT
-
Dennys Reyes hits a runner with 2 on and 0 outs and the umpire decides that it wasn't intentional and Pena pulls Reyes anyways. And Ron "Serial Killer" Gardenhire has been ejected. At least one manager in this game has some fire
-
The Runner is safe after Desi Relaford makes a wild throw to first. Ken Harvey's attempt to get the ball and tag the runner failed. Here's the scary thing. Harvey's still a better fielding first baseman than Mike Sweeney.
-
Inning two in Minneapolis: Mateo and Brown reach on hits Tony Graffanino strikes out John Buck flies out and Damian Jackson, the DH, is up Jackson strikes out looking. Jackson has 11 games at DH, 7 of them under the managerial genius of Grady Little (all as a replacement) and 4 under Luis Pujols' Detroit Tigers (2 of them were starts. The Tigers scored 1 run in those 18 innings)
-
Then again, Pena wasn't too happy with Reyes protecting our best hitter by nailing Cuddyer. Ya know Tony, he never wants to retaliate. Not when we have 11 healthy batters. Not when we've lost two players due to the Phillies throwing at them (Santiago and Stinnett)
-
Good news and Bad news: Bad news - The Twins score four in the first Good news - Reyes hits the Twins first baseman to get back at Lohse nailing Harvey Bad news - The ump warned both sides. I suspect this will be an ump who will throw some guys out if a starter accidently hits a guy
-
AND HE DOES FUCK Note to Tony Pena: When you have a man on second (Desi stole it).. DON'T FUCKING SAC BUNT It's hard enough to get hits, DON'T GO FOR ANOTHER OUT. Tonyball continues to fail here
-
And the Royals are having a no-hit time Desi hit by a pitch Berroa - Sac Bunt Harvey hit by a pitch I bet Stairs grounds into a double play. It'd figure.
-
The Royals lineup tonight 1- Desi Relaford (3B/.202) 2- Angel Berroa (SS/.236) 3- Ken Harvey (1B/.319) 4- Matt Stairs (RF/.256) 5- Ruben Mateo (CF/2 for 13) 6- Dee Brown (LF/.229) 7- Tony Graffanino (2B/.257) 8- John Buck (C/3 for 25) 9- Damian Jackson (DH/1 for 8) Yes.. Damian Jackson is the DH. 23 career home runs, .244 career hitter Your bench tonight is Jose Bautista and Alberto Castillo
-
Santiago is out right now with a broken hand Gonzalez is out with back problems Stairs might be traded. Then again, this team just tanked big time after Beltran was traded. It probably doesn't help that John Buck is 3 for 25 with 11 strikeouts so far.
-
Ken Harvey - 75 games, 89 for 279, 13 doubles, 10 HR, 34 RBI, 30 runs, 19 walks/50 strikeouts, .319/.366/.473 Jason Giambi - 59 games, 48 for 196, 9 doubles, 11 HR, 32 RBI, 29 runs, 36 walks/42 strikeouts, .245/.381/.459 It's a pretty even race between these two for the "scrub" team.

Federal judge nominee believes women should be
Rob E Dangerously replied to Rob E Dangerously's topic in Current Events
So conception by rape IS frequent? I'd say that it's more common than snowfall in Miami. Considering that the only time it ever snowed in Miami was in 1977 and all: http://www.islandnet.com/~see/weather/alma...02/alm02jan.htm Considering it is absolutely irrelevent as to whether it is frequent or not. Spicy's taking the extreme opposite on this too. When this guy's comparison was much more irrelevant It happens. Much more than Snow in Miami -

it's reserve psych.. or cutting off the nose to spite the face. Or something of that sort. but, ya know how they'll reply 1 - You're a leftist fool. Bush rocks. 2 - The Republicans are fine 3 - Hillary is working against Kerry 4 - Um.. Ann Coulter. Bill Owens. Um. yeah! 5 - KERRY IS AN EVIL FOOL WHO WILL SURRENDER TO TERROR AND GIVE OSAMA A HANDJOB yeah.. http://wnd.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=39309
-
http://wnd.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=39288 We'll see what happens there. Then again, as the Afghan war taught us, Islamic Militants and Communists don't get along. I wouldn't expect that here either.
-
Hunter with a home run. 9 starts, 9 home runs given up by Greinke.
-
Santana has 4 strikeouts though 2
-
I'd be happy about the White Sox wasting their money on Garcia, if the Royals management wasn't so freaking inept, and if the Royals didn't yield 8 runs a game to the White Sox
-
Correction: Desi is in left field, Bautista is at third base
-
And the Royals lineup tonight 1. Relaford (3B) 2. Berroa 3. Harvey 4. Stairs (RF) 5. Mateo (CF) 6. Graffanino 7. Dee Brown (DH) 8. John Buck 9. Jose Bautista (LF) DeJesus is out again after bruising his hand more last night. Sweeney is out with deadly back spasms. Your KC bench tonight: Damian Jackson and Alberto Castillo

Maybe they sampled the living hell out of Democrats for it. -=Mike Considering that Bush advisors are the ones saying this.. I'm sure they're able to do that.
