I agree with AngleSault, which strangely I find myself doing more often as of late. The '95 Yankees/Mariners series is still implanted in my memory like I just got out of Rekall. I'll forget Griffey rounding third at top speed, denying my favorite player of all time, Don Mattingly, his last chance for a ring. Never. Anyway, the Braves of '91 were great to me. The awesome series with the Pirates that came down to the last out, the series with the Twins, I rooted for them. Then they started winning constantly...and choking. Hell, I'll even go as far as to say that the Braves didn't beat the Mets in 2000, Kenny Rogers singlehandedly handed them a World Series birth that year. Think about it like this Bob. How would you feel if Chris Benoit got a title shot 11 times, yet was constantly losing? It would really make him look weak. The Braves can win all of the Division Titles they want, they always choke at the end. If you throw in the fact that '95 was the first full year since the strike as well as the first year with the new playoff structure and being in a new division, it was probably just a lack of preparation on the part of everyone else. Being the first year of the split and Wrestlemania being the biggest show of the year, you figure that Raw and SD would be battling over who gets the main event slot in terms of the World Title Match. Everyone assumes that it's SD, but it's never been said. Now, IF Kurt Angle wasn't hurt and it was still Angle/Brock and Booker/HHH, I've got a CRAZY idea that might be crazy enough to work. This could be implemented towards next year's Mania though. Vince comes out one day and says that the GM's can't agree on the main event slot. The week before Mania, or hell, at No Way Out if they've got the title matches figured out, he makes a match. The challenger of the Raw Title vs. the challenger of the SD Title. The winner of the match gets the main event slot. Imagine seeing Angle trying to help Brock win a match, or HHH trying his best to make sure that Booker goes over. It would just be a unique dynamic with good crowd heat. That is all. Hey, you could even do a Raw vs. SD tag match and see the partners deteriorate, but hey, I'm overthinking things. Dames

I thought the winner was only guaranteed a title shot at their brands respective title, not the main event. One brand won't look bad if the finish is muddled with interference, which is what would most likely happen. Besides, in the case of Brock/Angle, if it was still on and still in the same way...Brock could afford not to look too strong going into Mania at the expense of Booker T. Dames

OH...I'd LOVE to. Kid Kash picks the opponent up in a Fishersman's Buster position...and then drives his opponent neck first into his KNEE. And it's never won a match for him. Dames

Oh COME ON! The acting is TERRIBLE!!!! ESPECIALLY the owner, Mel, overacting EVERYTHING. The blood is the fakest I've ever seen and of course, the mustache. The only thing that looks good is the arrow through the throat, which still looks real. If you take a good look at the money shot, it's just Angela's head photoshopped onto someone else's body! When I was at home for almost a year and a half doing SHIT, I would get about 10 calls a day from telemarketers. Shiet, now I just hang up on them within the first few minutes or I tell them that the person they're looking for isn't home. Dames

I agree with you AC, but you know they'll do it anyway because it made so much damn money. She got it at a horror convention (she got to see the FvJ trailer!) although there's a few places by my way that sell them too. She told me news about a Buffy convention coming to the city (Anya was at the convention promoting Darkness Falls doing a meet and greet) but it was moved to Seattle. Bummer. Dames

I think we were all pretty split on it. I'm sure there are some people out there that really don't agree with Austin's walk out, but guys like Taker and especially HHH never really drew much money for the fed, while Austin broke his neck for the company and brought it back to number one almost singlehandedly, which is why his actions aren't as "crucifiable". Phillip, like I said to you in PM, I have no problem with you what so ever, but I do have a problem with the way you report. When you do nothing but praise, but keep your negative comments to yourself, it isn't fair reporting. I'd like to think that I'm a very honest and fair reporter and have been recognized for it by TNA management. I don't go out of my way to bash or be overly cynical. Feel free to keep on posting. Just a warning....some people think the Japanese version is better, some don't. Personally, I didn't like it and it had NOTHING to do with subtitles or Japanese culture or anything trivial like that. Dames
