Niko, I don't think we're hating on Z or WWE for doing this, we're just afraid of how WWE will most likely exploit him. TNA could have really used him to garner mainstream coverage and increase the company's image as a whole and that's also another reason why this comes as a blow. Dames

Gerwitz also wrote the HHH/Angle/Steph love triangle before his ending was vetoed by HHH and we got no blowoff. Dames

Whats the source? Dames

No discussion about the fact that I finally changed mine? The reason: I don't like that picture of me and it's not recent. I'll replace it with another when I get the chance. In the meantime, I mark out for Domokun. Dames

So, Daniel is the Asian guy from the TE3 casting special huh. Well, seems like he's lazy so you know he wouldn't have cut it there either. I've got to see these women. How funny is it that both Survivor and MTV are doing Battle of the Sexes this year. Coincidence? I think not. The deaf girl's definitely going to get voted out, there's no way she can win this. Why is Dave out of the loop? Dames

What about the VSE of A Different World, dealing with racism when Ron and Dwayne ended up in a brawl with white guys after they vandalised their car with racial slurs. That's one I'll never forget. Dames

I didn't notice any promotion for it either or else I definitely would have watched. Well, since there's no recap, anyone care to fill me in on what happened? Dames

When I went to college in 1998, I went to Rensseleaer Polytechnic Institute in Upstate NY. The tuition: $32,000 a year. I had a full ride for the first year, but then my grades slipped and I had to take out some loans. I left school in 2000 because I was very unhappy with the thoughts of transferring to another school in the city. This is where things get messed up. I couldn't find a job for 4 months and when I did, I didn't save my money. Constantly going out with my girlfriend and spending money like water definitely hurt. 9/11 came and took my job away and then a few months later, I was expected to start paying back my loans. At this point, I was unemployed and just couldn't do it. All of 2002, I couldn't pay and I've accumulated too much interest and late fees. Thankfully, I now have a job. I was able to defer my loans based on the fact that I was unemployed and I'm going to consolidate all of them, so in total, I owe about 18,000. Sad part is, I actually owe RPI itself $3,000 and they are holding my transcript hostage, so I haven't gone back to school yet. So yeah....student loans blow. Dames

Thailand was great, but Marquesas ruled. I wasn't aware that the Season Premiere started last night. Do any of you guys know of a replay? Dames

Not to sound overly cynical, but as someone who was there during 9/11 and works across the street from the UN, I'll admit, I'm fucking scared. This is the first time that I've admitted to it, but I work for the Anti-Defamation League, in their World Headquarters. My personal feelings or beliefs have nothing to do with why I work here. To me, it's just a job. We have great security, but I still don't feel comfortable. There's a large police presence right outside and in Grand Central Station, which is where I take the subway. It's not exactly easing my tension, you know. I just received an email going around the office from one of the directors here stating that he's received several phone calls regarding the possibility of the National Security Warning Level going up to Red sometime today. Whether or not its true...what can I say, I'm fucking scared. Dames

"Okay, now for the other news: As you may or may not know, 411 is doing a big reorganizational type thing on 3/3/03, and I made the decision last night not to keep the Smarks as a separate section when it happens. Myself, Jay Bower, Tim Livingston, Justin Baisden and GP Ryan will join the main site and continue posting as usual there. The rant archives will of course remain intact after the re-org. There's just no point in keeping a subsite in place when it's pretty much just me at this point. So I'll see you on 3/3/03 for 411Mania.com!" Well, this has a bit of irony to it, in my opinion. TheSmarks.com is going to be officially dead as of March 3rd and we're still around and thriving. Funny how things work out, isn't it? Dames

That just sounded cool. Must ban more people... Dames

ACDSee is THE picture viewer of all picture viewers. If you can find a crack for it, by all means, get it. Dames

Um... Mr. Noitaull, the WWE split came before any TNA broadcasts. Shark Boy has the Dead Sea Drop, which is known in other circles as a Diamond Dust. Basically, he's sitting on the 2nd rope, holding his opponent in position for a reverse DDT, but somersaults forward and ends in a Stone Cold Stunner. John London? You must mean Paul London. He hasn't competed in TNA yet, but from what I hear about his work in ROH, its a Shooting Star Press. David Flair has none. The SAT's have their own signature moves, but they usually only use Spanish Fly together to gain a victory. Dames

While the angle would be good, the matches wouldn't. Besides, he threw down the title and called it worthless. Why want it now? Dames

*Ahem*... As someone who has held the REAL WWF and WCW Titles, I can attest that they are indeed in the 15-20 pound range. How did I do this you ask? Well, at Axxess at last years Mania (which was a total waste of my time except for this moment), I got Chris Jericho's autograph. He had both World Titles with him on the table. I looked at them and said "so those are the real titles huh". Jericho: "yep". Me: "Can I hold them for a sec?" Jericho: "Sure". I picked them up...they were quite heavy. Security looked like they were about to rip my balls off so I put them back down. Dames
