  1. I'll try....but No promises. Dames
  2. I sure as hell didn't love the show. I think the Big Show's win was done well, although it was a poor decision. Any other way and Brock would have looked a lot worse. The Elimination Chamber match was quite disappointing as well. Dames

Dames Diatribe on Sur Series 2002

You honestly believe that the Elimination Chamber match was better than the Armaggedon HIAC? Could you explain why? Other than the Rikishi nonsense, that match was superior in almost every way, IMO. Dames

    Theme music

Worst was definitely Jerry Lynn's. Low-Ki had some pretty bad music....not nearly as good as the music he usually uses at indy shows and ROH. The best, IMO, is The Truth, followed closely by Styles. I like Siaki's....whatchu talkin' about. Dames
  5. Even so....shouldn't they take Sunday's take into account, or it included with those figures?? I'm sure there are people seeing it tonight. Dames

What's a man without his "move"

Oh, I know that. I just wanted to clarify it for those who pictured the Pedigree when I described the Money Maker. I've seen the Money Maker called a Vertical Pedigree before as well as a Sit Out Tiger Driver '91 which is also incorrect. Dames

What's a man without his "move"

I can live with that move description. Dace, the reason why I always called the Money Maker a Double Underhook Vertical Piledriver is because I've seen the Pedigree called a Double Underhook Piledriver in many other places. Hell, I even have the clip where HHH did a double underhook piledriver by accident. Dames

I don't like alcohol much, but DAMN....I love Fuzzy Navels. Dames
  9. And thats just the first two days...damn. It'll most likely break the 91 million the first movie made in its opening weekend. Dames

What's a man without his "move"

I've been watching Red for about 2 years in the indy scene and thats always been one of my favorite moves of his. Its funny how a few weeks after he first did it in TNA, Rey Mysterio did it to Chavo on the Heat before Unforgiven. Dames

What's a man without his "move"

Yeah, but the move is done MUCH quicker so occasionally the landing comes off a bit sloppy. Dames

What's a man without his "move"

The move doesn't start out with the opponent in Death Valley Driver position, I hope I didn't mislead you. The move starts out with Storm grabbing him in a Kryptonite Krunch, but with the opponent perpendicular instead of facing the ground. From there he swings him around and lands on his own back while F'5ing him so to speak. Dames

What's a man without his "move"

Red's Code Red is also very difficult to describe. While the opponent is hunched over in a position where he can be sunset flipped, Red jumps on his back and hooks his legs underneath his opponents arms. From there, he swings through with the sunset flip but the hooked legs make it so that his shoulders and back impact the canvas. Dames

What's a man without his "move"

This one is really complicated.... Basically, he holds his opponent across his back horizontally and whips him around into a falling face plant. Thats the best way I can describe it. Dames
  15. Jeez, I haven't watched Velocity in MONTHS. Mark Loyd is a terrible commentator. Michael Cole, doing color instead of pbp, mentioned Baron Von Rashke....and when Loyd asked him who he was, Cole actually told him "I'm beggin you to know your history". I found that funny for some reason as Cole doesn't seem to remember history to begin with. Dames

    The Unoffical Smarkie Awards

Well, technically Admins are mods as well. AC and I are being held down in this competition. Basically Admins have the ability to change the board as they see fit (kinda like Neo with the Matrix), which mods just help run it. Dames

What's a man without his "move"

Mamaluke always takes sick or just bad bumps in general. The infamous neck bump off the guardrail in ECW always comes to mind. Dames

    Now THAT is really dumb...

How did you see the crossovers with no WB?? My main gripe with this is that there are things in Season 4 of Buffy that will be spoiled if Season 1 of Angel is viewed first, like Faith waking up and things like that. Dames

What's a man without his "move"

I wish Tenay had called it. Mamaluke was a little too far back which didn't make it as smooth as it could have been. Dames

I preferred his Money in the Bank finisher better....I'm surprised he didn't pull it out on Wednesday. Dames

    Was he or wasn't he?

Loss, from all the reports I read at the time, Awesome WAS in breach of contract when he jumped. WCW wanted him to bring the ECW title with him to Nitro but Heyman was able to get his legal counsel to stop that before it happened. Heyman eventually let Awesome out of his contract in exchange for a supposed 1 million dollars, but made sure that he jobbed the title out to Tazz first. Dames

What's a man without his "move"

The Siakolypse is similar to the Roll of the Dice, but is not the same. He starts the move in a front face lock position (picture a vertical suplex in its birth stage) and then performs the rolling neckbreaker. The Roll of the Dice or Test Drive starts with the opponent in a reverse DDT position, so when the neckbreaker is performed, the opponent lands on his face. Skippers Play of the Day is the same thing as Randy Orton's finisher. Amazing Red's Infrared is not a Swanton Bomb at all, its a Sky Twister Press into a Legdrop or Splash, depending on how he hits it. It's Styles Clash, with a C. Styles also uses the Spiral Tap, a corkscrew twisting legdrop. Low-Ki uses 'Ki Krusher '99, a Michinoku Driver with the opponent in a Fishermans Suplex position. Kid Kash uses the Money Maker, a double underhook vertical piledriver. The SAT's have a double team finisher called Spanish Fly. With the opponent sitting on the top rope facing the ring, both members of the SAT's climb up to the top and hold him while moonsaulting, driving him down to the canvas. It's breathtaking to watch. Malice uses a chokeslam. Chris Harris of AMW uses the Catatonic. He starts with the opponent in a fallaway slam position and swings him around to finish it off with a Rock Bottom. D'Lo Brown has been using this move lately. There's more but I can't think of any. Just ask. Dames
