I don't think he does it solely to sell records, but just to get a reaction out of people, which in turn gains record sales. He doesn't bitch about selling records....but he bitches about how the media treats him and such when all he's saying is not to take him so seriously. There's a difference. Thanks, Sass. 8 mile is definitely worth your money. I don't care if you aren't an Eminem fan or not, the movie is acted very well and all the hype over his performance is true. Kim Basinger reminds me why I wanted her juicy pink melon in Batman after all these years. For the record, the story is similar to Em's upbringing but it is NOT a true story. Many of the aspects were changed for the film and for the better, I'd say. I don't think it would have left a good taste in people's mouths if it was just a movie about his life, considering how he's supposedly grown up. Dames
