It wasn't just stops on the campaign, I watched him on sit down interviews making the same mistakes, but you seemed to have missed the part where I praised him for his improvement. I may still not like him, but I can admit he certainly looks more professinal and statesman like now.

I think Bush has got better with his grammatical slips, but still, it was an absurd number of mistakes for a man seeking the highest office in the land to make. If he has a problem with his speech shouldn't he seek help to clear it up. I just thought he looked absurd during his campaign and I thought no one would vote him into office, but thats why I don't gamble. Full marks to him for his improvement, and I only brought it up because I was pissed off at him for some of his more recent comments. Specifically "I don't give a fuck what the Europeans think", I take that as an insult AND bad statemanship.

I have to say I am becoming more convinced by the day for the reasons on the attack on Iraq. But why couldn't Bush have been more like this at the start of the debate, or just waited till now to start it? No matter what happens now I think people will still be wary of the reasons fo an attack, and American actions in the future. But I still do want Saddam out, just to make that clear. -
Dude, you just kick many kinds of ass for saying that. But im drunk so just ignore me.

Um, I could go into detail here about how the French weren't really the cowards everyone thinks they were in WW2, but I don't think anyone wants to hear it, plus I have to get ready to go out too.

DeputyHawk, do you think Blair should recall Parliment before he makes a desicion? I certainly think he should. Without discussing Parliment, I think he would alienate a lot of people in the country and make himself look quite bad.

We'll we knew this was coming. My thoughts are that I will be glad to see the back of Saddam, and the invaison will go down without many problems. Problem solved? Not bloody likely. I have said before and will say again, if their is not a proper plan for Iraq after Saddam is toppled then the Middle East will explode, and it will affect EVERYONE. Even if their is a plan for Iraq after the attack, I still expect a hell of a lot of trouble in the Middle East for years to come. I WANT the attack to succed, and I WANT the aftermath to be relativly peaceful, but I don't think it will be, and I thnik the consquences of what we do here will be felt for years to come.

Saving Private Ryan. First 20 minuites amazing, the rest was just there. I can't honestly say why, just something about it really bored me to death, and this is from a MASSIZE WW2 fan.

I also back the plan for Air Marshalls, but has been said above, if it comes to firing a gun in an aeroplane, then your'e more than likly screwed anyway. As far as I know, even special forces expect casualties, when retaking a plane from terrorists on the ground. Add to this the fact that it will only be a couple of well trained (but not to special forces level) officers and the chance of having a major disaster on your'e hands is multiplyed. But saying that, something needs to be done, and this is the only option that I can see working, no matter how dangerous.

Well, Im back from my holiday, 2 days in Dublin, great stuff. I though the last supper was great, cause it showed the worst of both sides of the left/right. P.S I have been reading what I missed since I got home and I have to say, the worst of the left is certainly being represented by a certain persons biggest fan

Just thought I would say that im off on a short holiday, should be back in a couple of days. Its always a pleasure to read these forums, even if I don't agree with everything, so keep it up. Oh, and by the way, I like the French

O.K, I must admit I just don't LIKE the man, I never have, him and his entire administration (apart from a couple of notables) just seem to be far too arrogant. The whole Iraq business has just confirmed my feelings.
