My guess will be the return of Rock for another month-two month engagement with the WWE before going off to film a new movie. If HHH's health problems finally FUBAR him, expect the WWE to repeat the post-WM 98 reformation of DX with Evolution as part of the never-ending "Operation Get Randy Orton Over With Any Means Necessary" plan to make RO the next big thing despite the fact that no one gives a fuck about him save for Vince and HHH....

Don't you know that one of the iron-clad rules of WWE announcing is that Jericho is a loser regardless of whether or not he's a face or a heel and that anytime he gets beaten up it's because Jericho deserves to be beaten up?

If Weaver has a terrific year next year with the Yankees, will all of the Weaver haters on this board give up the Weaver-Hating and give the man his props? Or has the last year turned Weaver into damaged goods, so damaged that his reputation will never be redeemed?

What are some of the best music DVDs out there?
JasonX replied to BifEverchad's topic in Television & Film
I'm all over this. In fact, I've already dropped hints to the Mrs. about a possible X-Mas present. Otherwise, the only other music DVDs I have are the Alice in Chains video collection - which rules. And both of the Skinny Puppy DVD's [video collection and Ain't It Dead Yet, live show]... I guess you could also count the CASH dvd that came with Johnny's last album, too. I'd really like to be able to find a DVD of [old school] Misfits shows, with Danzig et al. I wouldn't recommend the Skinny Puppy DVD because it omits the group's best video, "Worlock".... -
The long awaited "Taking of HHH" column is up at http://www.1ryderfakin.com/ Warning: It's pretty lengthy and the title is kind of misleading. It's more of a legnthy GH and Joe-esque parody/attack at the WWE, HHH, Chris Benoit, Trish Stratus, and the Internet Wrestling Community with Scott Keith naturally being singled out for abuse in particular....

In a nutshell: Nash and Savage are feuding and during one skit, Molly Holly (then Mss Madness) and Geogeous George II lures Nash to the parking lot where he is nearly killed by a hummer that tries to run him down. After the segment, Savage starts hinting that he has a secret ally helping him try and kill Nash. This leads up to the return of Sid Viscious, who we are all led to believe but is never outright stated as beign the hummer driver and Savage's accomplice. End of story? No, in fact things get complicated even more. Several months later Hogan returns (as a face) and starts feuding with Nash for the world title. This leads us to an angle where someone, Luger if I recall correctly, brings up the hummer incident to Nash and accuses Hogan of being the hummer driver who tried to kill Nash. This is where the hummer angle color change takes place, as Luger presents pictures of Hogan and his hummer (which is a totally different color than the one in the oriignal hummer attack segment). Eventually it's revealed that Luger was lying the whole time and that it was all part of an elaborate mindgame being played on Hogan by the two of them to screw Hogan up so that Sting could win the belt from Hogan. Then, in the famous Russo/Bischoff era debut episode of Nitro, the issue of the hummer came back yet again as Bischoff used a hummer to try and kill Hulk Hogan with it being insinuating he was the hummer driver all along by the announcing crew...

It's been rumored that Trish will play a role in Austin's inevitable return to TV by way of her manipulating Jericho into using his blank-check style favor that was given to him on last week's Raw to bring Austin back. At which point, given how Austin HAS to look invincible and make everyone around him look like a pussy, they will most likely reveal that Trish and Austin are in cahoots and purposely tricked Jericho into bringing Austin back....

WM 20 should be a celebration of the past 20 years, I'd be so down to see Hogan/Savage or Trips/Cactus or Taker/Kane....its the culmination of years prior. I don't care about ***** match, I want to markout like ma'fucker. Fuck nostalgia. The WWE should make NO mention to the history of WM at WM 20 and use it to spotlight/pass the torch to the midcard guys who should be main eventing but not do to bullshit politics ala WM 10............
-
credit: PW.com They should just ship Austin to SD as a wayh for Heyman to make life miserable for Vince and be done with it. Keep him off of Raw and let Austin bury different people for a change...

The last two seasons of Reboot (seasons 3 and 4) are already on DVD.

Actually it was with the 97-98 season that Groening essentially abandoned the show into the hands of Mike Scully in order to work on Futurama. Season 9 (which ran from 97-98 is the point that the show started sucking and blowing and has inspired amongst many Simpsons fans the "Mike Scully ruined the Simpsons" theory as to why the show has sucked in recent years do to the correlations of Scully's assension to running the show and the sudden and utter drop in quality in the show...

They reran an episode from last season where the show opens with a South Park parody. In it, OJ Simpson shows up out of a crippled robot's fart and starts killing everyone in sight, including Calista Flockhart and Steve Guttenberg. He then vows to "find the real killer" while holding up the decapitated head of Cartman to the camera.... After watching this, Bart and Milhouse start doing a rather silly dance while singing "Cartoon Violence" at the top of their lungs....

HHH: No, he's family and literally bullet-proof for obvious family Golberg: Possibly, but there is no one else in the upper card face to support Raw save for him so he is exempt Angle/Benoit/Lesner/Cena: Take the fall for not being able to carry the Hosses Shane MacMahon: See HHH Kane: Possibly but Kane (along with Chris Jericho) has been carrying Raw these last couple of months so I don't see him taking the fall, especially since Kane is bulletproof when it comes to McMahon stupidity. UT: Possibly especially if HHH wants to eliminate his only real remaining rival in the WWE power structure Chris Jericho: Possible but then again, like Kane, CJ has been the glue holding Raw together. Not to mention HHH needing to keep CJ strong so he can squash CJ again and again when he turns babyface soon. Eric Bischoff: Work on the "Monday Night Wars" DVD brings back old feelings in Vince, causing him to blaime Bisch for the problems of the WWE. Steve Austin: Cause you know Vince is just waiting for the right time to get his revenge on Austin for fucking him over last year and refusing to do his part to get Brock Lesner over....
-
No he won't. If HHH is going to be in it and win it, he'll be the iron man. If not, expect Orton to be the "Iron Man".....
-
We get what we asked for, but we'll wish we hadn't. Yup, Vince is Satan. Are they just going to forget Heyman and Bishoff are GMs?! Bisch will stay on Raw but resume his pissing contest with the talentless Stephanie McMahon, who will most definately reunite with a newly face turned HHH.... Austin will go to SD and either Heyman will turn heel again or Heyman will become Austin's #1 bitch who's job it is to get Benoit, Cena, Angle, Guerrero, and Lesner to bend over and take it up the ass while Austin belittles them and torments them on a regular basis.
-
It all depends on HHH. If HHH doesn't get the belt back tomorrow, HHH will win the RR. If HHH DOES win the belt back expect Randy Orton to win it in order to give him yet another rub...

Steph is rumored to be part of the card. Just not an announced part of the card....

ACTUALLY they were supposed to have a shitload of extras for the first season of Three's Company, but that because of the untimely death of John Ritter (who was working with Anchor Bay to coordinate getting all of the extras, including the various unaired pilot episodes that featured other actresses in Joyce and Susan's roles as well as manufacturing new extra features for the show) Anchor Bay decided to respectfully shelf the plans for extras on the DVDs and release Season One (which was ready to ship save for said extras) now and wait a couple of months and put the extras they had been working on all on the Season 2 set)....

The Wrestling w/Shadows director emailed me back
JasonX replied to bob_barron's topic in General Wrestling
Problem is that a good chunk of those clips will never see the light of day, as the WWE forced the documentary makers to sign a clause in their contract stating that they could not use or show in any shape of form, ANY footage involving Steve Austin and Undertaker in the context of them being anything other than their WWE characters.... -
It all depends on how the WWE decides to play out the inevitable HHH/RO feud that no one wants.... If HHH is so fucking paranoid/consumed with being champion that he can't let RO have a lame duck run as champ, expect HHH to squash any of the top midcard guys on Raw (Jericho, RVD, Booker T) or even get Austin to come out of retirement for a match. If HHH somehow is willing to let RO have the belt and will be willing to go into WM as the challenger, expect HHH to win the Royal Rumble ala Ric Flair in 92....
-
My guesses: 1. Vince/Undertaker: Either the rumored Steph heel turn or Kane will interfer and cost UT the match. 2. Team Austin vs Team Bischoff: Either HBK or Trish turns heel and helps cost Austin the match and his job 3. Team Angle vs Team Hoss: John Cena turns heel again and costs Angle's team the match...

Alien: The Theatrical cut which is widely available and the recent theatrical director's cut which reinserts several cut scenes including the imfamous "egg" scene where we learn that the aliens turn victims into Alien Eggs Alien: The biggest one. There are TWO versions floating around: 1. The theatrical cut 2. Special Edition: This is James Cameron's original cut before the studio butchered the film upon it's release. KEY scenes are reinserted in this version such as how the aliens infest the colony as well as the famous scene where we learn Ripley had a daughter who had died while she was in space in stasis, which is considered by many to be one of Sigourny Weaver's best performances in her entire career. Alien 3: Again, Alien 3 was butchered by the studio before it came out with about 30 minutes of footage cut or never properly finished SFX wise. A workprint version exists that has this rough cut of the film but the one with the upcoming Aliens set is as close as we'll ever get to a legitamite release of said workprint....

http://www.411mania.com/wrestling/news/new...hp?news_id=7978 The Undertaker has been making recent media appearances stating that he will not be returning to his old "dead man" gimmick soon, as has been rumored on the internet. Despite this, the plan right now IS for him to lose his Buried Alive match against Vince McMahon at Survivor Series, then return around WrestleMania XX in his old persona. 'Taker refuting the claims is only to keep the story a surprise. While the plans may actually change in the next few months, it has not yet. [1wrestling.com]

Does the first season of Upright Citizens Brigade have the "Abominable Snow Gimp" sketch?
-
Actually it is, though only in reguards to the original. It's part of the Holy Trinity of slasher movies Jamie Lee Curtis did early in her career before she became a major league Hollywood actress.
