You mean they actually showed the JGHG clips on a big screen behind Korn while they played?

Uh, HHH ALREADY HAS X-Pac "Get the Fuck Off My TV" Heat.....
-
Hasn't HTM not only burned his bridges with the WWE but also symbollic pulled down his pants and told Vince, JR, and everyone else in the WWE's top power structure to suck his balls? I doubt he'll show up....
-
UGH.......... That is one stupid ass poster. Not the least bit frightening at all...

They aren't associated with each other, as Jason was created by Paramount films while Freddy is New Line Cinema's baby. Jason's backstory is that he was a kid who drowned in a summer camp lake while the two lifeguards on duty were fucking and not watching him. His mom started to kill everyone at the camp, forcing the camp to be closed until one particular camp counselor decapitated her after one of her killing sprees. So Jason rose from the lake with a new adult body and continued to kill everyone at the camp to avenge not only his death but his mom's death. And one of the really stupid and retarded long-running rumors of the Freddy vs Jason pic has been that New Line wants to retcon Jason's origin so that Freddy is connected to Jason's origin and responsible for Jason drowning/coming back as an adult....

Welcome to the WWE, as run by the Clique. Nash and HHH get to feud over their belt while Brock has to deal with sloppy seconds in the form of Big Show, while the IC belt comes back in a PPV that will most likely be won by Clique hanger-on Billy Gunn.....
-
Most likely people will remember Billy was on SD and will still remember his previous gimmick as part of the ambiguously gay duo. Which will mean that the WWE will go over the top in terms of trying to restore the appearance of Billy's character being straight, right down to probably reassigning Stacy to work as Billy's valet and contantly having Stacy brag about Billy's ability to sex her up in order to create the illusion in the marks eyes about Billy being heterosexual...
-
Either that or they will bring him in as an ally of HHH's to help further the illusion that HHH is Flair incarnate by having Billy become his bastardized version of Tully Blanchard......

Unless things change, we'll have an ULTRA-SLOW Nash/HHH feud with Nash winning the belt at the Judgement Day PPV and HHH winning it back at the Raw-exclusive Bad Blood PPV in June. And in the sixty days before the next PPV where the Raw brand will be featured, expect there to be a TON of backstage shit being pulled as HHH will use every dirty trick in the book to keep the belt on him and to keep Golberg in the doghouse so that he doesn't have to job the belt to him. Lesner/Show will be bad especially since Big Show is the only viable heel on the roster less we get Team Angle split and sent up against Brock. Golberg/Jericho will be a nightmare and will hurt each other in the long-run as you know HHH will do everything in his power to dog the feud and make sure everyone in the back think that the feud and both competitors are killing the ratings. On the other hand, we'll probably get some cool worked-shoot interviews from Jericho ala his recent feud with HBK. Booker will most definately be pushed down to the midcard and I doubt we'll get any sort of feud between Booker and Flair. We might get Booker/HBK face-face feud with Booker jobbing to HBK to keep HBK strong so he can be another placeholder champ for HHH when Summerslam comes calling. Cena will most definately get depushed. Plus with UT coming back, UT will demand that he continue his angle with Cena and permenantly crush Cena like a bug.

Have Kurt show up on Raw out of the blue around July/August and have him literally kill HHH dead and win the belt (which would also serve as a way for HHH to placate the locker room prior to the wedding). HHH goes to SD where he can have his oncamera reconciliation with Steph to lead into their wedding (and to prevent the dredded Sullivan curse about oncamera/offcamera relationships) and have him feud with Brock Lesner and UT....

IRRC wasn't Killings recently offered a WWE contract which he turned down, do to him still being bitter with how he was wasted in the WWE during his first tenure and wanting to instead stay in NWATNA where he would have a better chance to shine than in the WWE? Plus, if Killings did resign, he'd most likely be shoe-horned into Teddy Long's stable of black wrestlers fighting against the Man for holding them down than be allowed anywhere near Cena....

No, Hush was the all-silent episode with the Gentlemen as the villains. The Body was the episode where Joyce dies.

When the film got nominated for an Oscar, the studio pulled it from the release schedule so that they could work on a Big Ass, "Up and Possible Won An Oscar!" type promotional campaign to hype the film when it gets rescheduled for release...

Spoilers for the finale of Buffy the Vampire Slayer have hit the internet. The much rumored "Spike turns evil and fights Buffy in the final episode" ending will not be happening it appears and something quite different and somewhat anti-climatic happens instead.... Spoiler (Highlight to Read): 1. Angel makes what basically is a cameo appearance as he sent back to LA and the magic amulet that the pre-destined Soul Vampire will wear in the final battle against evil that he brought with him is given to Spike by Buffy 2. Buffy's plan to beat the First Evil is to release all of the Uber-Vamps from the seal and then kill them all and seal the Hellmouth permenantly, essentially robbing the First of it's base of operations and chief minions which will force the First to have to start from scratch in terms of building up an army of minions to do it's dirty work.... 3. Buffy has Willow cast a spell causing every single SIT and potential slayer to have their powers activated without having Faith die. Willow, in a tense moment, tells Kennedy to murder her if she starts to go insane-evil again from using her magic. 4. The final battle takes place at the high school. 5. Anya is killed in the final battle, saving Andrew from being killed 6. In the end, Spike activates the amulet and is consumed in a blinding flash of light that kills off all of the UberVamps and permentantly collapses the Hellmouth. Unfortunatley this also triggers the complete and utter destruction of the entire town of Sunnydale. 7. In their final moments together Buffy tells Spike that she loves him but Spike, still angry at Buffy for kissing Angel, tells her to get bent. Buffy refuses to give up on Spike and begs him to try and escape with her. Spike tells her that he's literally pinned to where he is standing by the energy and begs Buffy to leave and not die by his side. Buffy reluctantly leaves and Spike is consumed by the light energy and dies... 8. The episode closes with two climatic moments: Buffy racing towards a school bus that the Scoobies and the potentials are loaded into and getting into the bus before she is killed in the massive explosion of death that destroys Sunnydale and Buffy and the gang looking onwards at the huge crater that was once Sunnydale and lamenting the destruction of their home while commenting that with the world now having a large number of Slayers scattered across the globe ready to fight evil, Buffy now can finally live a normal life at long last... 9. A possible epilogue is said to be in the works but not filmed where Spike is seen crawling out of the rubble inside the crater and revealed to have been restored to human form after his vampire form was destroyed by the light energy. The purpose of this scene will be to bring Spike back and to set up Spike joining the cast of Angel during the show's fifth season. BUT do to the fact that the WB has yet to renew Angel for season 5, there is a good chance that this scene may end up not getting film, much like the way the critical scene where Giles reveals to Buffy that he murdered Ben was cut from the final shooting script of Lies My Parents Told Me....

Especially given the ending. After all, there was a real sliver of hope that Booker T would win the belt. But they BUTT-fucked us yet again and I doubt that the ratings will go up for the show again any time soon...
-
It's not the USA Sexploitation tv series but instead a Fred Astaire-musical film...
-
And yet I ask...is that bad? Actually I was looking for some sort of reference towards what to expect from the film. I haven't found that much coverage of "A Mighty Wind" in the media, so I was wondering if this would be done in the similar tongue-in-cheek manner or if this will be played totally straight.....
-
Not really. If anything Angle, while having his character have a humor/comedy twist to him drew more than bald and boring Robo-Angle. Removing that aspect from his character rendered him boring and one-dimensional and no longer a draw.

Ugh.... No bonus Tracy Ullman Show shorts. Why can't Fox put the 49 shorts out on DVD for all of us who have never seen the shorts? Or at the very least put SOME of the 30-35 shorts shorts that have not seen any sort of home market release onto one of their DVD Box sets?

Marge vs The Monorail, along with the rest of the Conan O'Brian Trilogy (which includes MvsTM, The Front, and Krusty Gets Cancelled) are part of the Fourth Season...

Wow. That's a bit of an overreaction, don't you think? Somebody a little bitter? bitterness towards those who believe that Goldy can do no wrong...And when he is asked to do something every other Wrestler does for the sake of the business. He Refuses to do so to protect his character. And Suddenly he did the right thing and It is BULLSHIT to make him do it??? Why because he's new???? Where the hell did you get that Novel concept? If you wanna base it on he is new and it would damage his "Credibility" Then guess what he should be Low carding. He can Squash Funaki and Tommy Dreamer, and Bill Demott, and the OVW boys for a couple of Months...and IF we still had midlevel Titles he can go get them and Build Up. BUTTTTTTTT No He gets to jump to Main event level first PPV event. So if he gets to do that then he got no right to complain about getting beat down might damage his WCW trademark Monster credibility. Fuck Goldberg and his prima donna attitude. At this point, we need to put things in their proper perspectives. Mainly that Golberg and his attitude will most likely be the best bet we have to get the belt off of the whore (my new nickname for HHH given that's all he is in reality). Granted he'll be fired most likely for standing up to the whore before we ever get to the match between the two, but at the moment Golberg is doing no wrong. ESPECIALLY since Rock is gone after this PPV....
-
The problem though is that Golberg might be the only person with a chance to destroy HHH's reign of terror at the moment....
-
Smell the desperation on Red Hat's part. He knows that this new record's going to bomb BADLY at worst and make them the laughing stock of all of the music magazines at best.
-
Isn't "A Mighty Wind" simply a folk-country version of Spinal Tap?
-
Agreed. This is a classic HHH power-play situation. Bury Golberg until he's not over and then use his unoverness to reneg on his promise to job the belt to him. The situation doesn't look to good for Golberg, as he's in a catch-22 position: If he lets the WWE (through HHH's machinations) bury him, HHH will use it to get out of jobbing the belt to him. If he stands up for himself, he'll piss off Vince and give HHH the leverage he needs to reneg on jobbing to Golberg. And the idea of bringing in Sting is another strike against Golberg, as I can see Vince being willing to fire/job out Golberg the minute Golberg starts rocking the boat and standing up for himself on the grounds that he can simply plug Sting into Golberg's spot.
