The new "South Park" episode this week is a return to the tired "Torture Butters" formula: The group forces Butters to fake his death and assume a new identity called "Majorine" so that Butters can get invited to the fourth grade girls slumber party and tell the group what goes on at the all-girl slumber parties.....

He is a huge mark for Shawn (just listen to his past commentary), but that wouldn't really answer the question. There does seem to be something more to the situation. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Cue the longstanding urban legend that Shawn was Vince's fuck-toy from 1994-98, hence his power backstage over the direction of the company story......

Why is Pierzynski an asshole again? Clemens, everyone knows why and then some. But AJ Pierzynski?

After this week's episode, I think it's Kimber: she's bisexual (something they've established that a lot of people haven't said much about given how it's been established in a by-the-by way), an emotional masochist (see her relationship with Christian), and her interaction with Kit when Kit accused Kimber of being Christian's accomplice made me wonder if Kimber slapped Kit not because she was saying bad things about her and Christian, but because Kit's rant hit just about all of the marks towards why Kimber was The Carver. It would also explain why Kit got targetted in the first place, since Kimber probably wanted to neutralize her before she realized that it was Kimber, not Christian that she was fucking as part of her "catch a psycho by fucking them" method of capturing serial killers. (And BTW, I totally think that the whole plot about Rhea being awake during her surgery was a red-herring plot twist. Recall what the Carver said to her before he killed her, obviously he knew her only as a fake Carver victim. Rhea herself said that people considered her a Carver victim prior to it being revealed that she was a fraud, so I can say that it was easy for Kimber to know that Rhea was a fake simply by reading/watching the news and going "I know I didn't cut that woman! She's a fraud!"...) Also, remember the Carver's catchphrase about how beauty keeps people from seeing the real monsters walking amongst us? Rings true towards Kimber's whole relationship with Christian during season one as Kimber kept thinking that Christian was a nice guy when in fact, Christian was a total and complete asshole towards her going so far as trying to trade her to another guy because he was tired of her. I would not be suprised if that caused Kimber (who almost carved Christian's face up in season one, remember?) to snap. As for why Kimber would rape Christian? Remember the whole AIDS scare Christian had? I would not be suprised if her raping Christian was motivated by revenge for Christian acting like a shithead and getting himself into a situation where he coulld have an AIDS scare. And as for framing Christian (providing that Kit herself didn't plant the condom or was outright lying about it being Christian's condom just to try and scare him shitless into confessing), I think that Kimber didn't mean to do it but was willing to let Christian freak the fuck out in jail for a bit before carving up Kit (who would remove all doubt to Kit and the police that they were wrong thinking Christian was the Carver) just for shits and giggles.

I'll concede you that episode, but that has to be one of the few instances where P&S HAVEN'T sucked Bush's dick in terms of current events.
-
Given Parker and Stone have become out and out Bush apologists with their creative output in recent years, I can't wait to see how they decide to defend the bastard's fuck-up regarding Hurricane Katrina. More "blame the hippies as murderous monsters"? Or will there be "Blaming the victims of Katrina for the hurricane" as the theme of the episode?

Speaking of DRS and his place in the credits of the show: Taken from the following interview David Rees Snell recently gave:

Zero Hour has it's moments. And Hal Jordan was wicked cool as the big bad, you got to admit it....

It was John Peters; he demanded a gay version of JLA member L-Ron as Brainiac's sidekick and the inclusion of Giant Robot Spiders and Polar Bears in the Kevin Smith script.

Bland first issue, mainly due to the fact that Geoff wastes 1/3rd of the issue on a lame Alan Moore homage. IDC #1 had a shitload more to occur in it's first issue, making me uber disappointed given the four dollar price tag the book had. Only the wholesale slaughter of the Freedom Fighters and the last page suprise redeemed the issue. That said, they REALLY REALLY should have deep-sixed the last issues of Villains United and Day of Vengence and merged them with Infinite Crisis #1. The Spectre/Captain Marvel battle would have been better than the rehash of "For The Man Who Has Everything" fight and VU #6's holy shit moment (the return of the as the true head of the SSOSV) would have boosted the main elements of the plot for the issue. Of course, the real irony this week is that IC #1 came out the same week as House of M #7, which is the first decent issue of HOM and of Bendis's entire abortion of a run on the Avengers. Of course it's also the first issue where Bendis treats Wanda as a living thing and gives the character actual time on page to talk and emote her feelings towards the shit plot Bendis has forced onto the character, which shows you how fucked up things are creatively at Marvel.

Television Without Pity's message board; some people who've seen the shooting scripts for the current season have been posting spoilers for the current season up through episode 311 in the Nip/Tuck forum section. A lot of the stuff has been confirmed via Spoiler Fix.com, in terms of major plot elements for upcoming episodes....

Or not; remember, show creator Ryan Murphy is gay and making Quentin bisexual could be Murphy's way of attacking bisexual men as evil monsters, if he decides to make Quentin the Carver. But that said, so far spoilers are all over the place with regards to what Quentin's ultimate storyline will be revealed as. Some have Quentin while others have

There has been considerable hatred for the Matt character amongst Nip/Tuck fandom since the whole "disfiguring the girl while driving stoned" storyline. That said, this season definately has the show's writers going full steam ahead with this hatred for the character as a major plot point. As for Matt dying? Actually it would work thematically so long as they don't have the Carver do it; Matt's the creation of the Christian/Sean/Julia threesome and given how they all have their own fucked up problems splintering them, it would make sense for Matt's death be the event that brings them back together. And as for the Carver, I also second the notion of it being Grace. Though Matt being the Carver would be even MORE fucked up and twisted storyline, especially since . And it would give the show a hell of a cliffhangr, as fans would be going over the older episodes trying to piece together the hows and whys and whens of Matt being the Carver....

Spoilers indicate not only will Matt not get his comuppence at least through episode 311, but that he'll be hurting even MORE innocent people before the season is out. Also in the "what the fuck" catagory:

As far as I'm concerned, Serenity can't crash and burn and die fast enough. Killing Wash ruined the movie for me and as far as I'm concerned, killed any interest I would have in seeing Firefly survive in any shape or form. The fucking franchise can die for good and so can Joss Whedon's career.....
-
My guess/hope would be Viggo Mortenson (crappy spelling). Though if Jackson wants to get cute and really fuck with Halo fans, he could get Dominic Monaghan to play Master Chief.....

Have to catch it; never watched the show and everything I've heard about Degrassi is that it's one big right-wing propaganda series that promotes fantasy 1950s conformity values......

This week's four-way IIRC is supposed to be the last multi-partnered sex we'll be seeing for a while. However, around episode 310/311 we get a callback to this week's "Costa watching Sean fuck" sequence when .

No, Kurt Angle and to a lesser extent Rock and Jericho were the one thing that made 2001 watchable. Heel Steve Austin was a gunshot to the head that killed the WWE so badly and fucked EVERY FUCKING THING UP, leading to the hellish nightmare we've got today. The only fucking way they could have salvage such a shithead, and ultimately suicidal decision, would have been if they had had the balls to burn the "Stone Cold" dead immeadiately after the 2001 WM and had Austin literally regress back to the stone age Hollywood Blonde/Stunning Steve Austin persona complete with him having hair on his head, a bimbo on his arm, no swearing or drinking, and Austin resurrecting his old "Your Brush With Greatness is Over" catchphrase as his one and only catchphrase. But they refused to do that and in the process they slit their own throats....

How long does Matt Hardy have left in the WWE?
JasonX replied to EdwardKnoxII's topic in The WWE Folder
Can anyone offer any justification as to why the WWE didn't bury Edge like the little shitstain of a bitch he is and ship him off to the ghetto that is Smackdown to serve as Batista's personal bitch? Seriously, with HHH back there is ZERO reason to keep the little shit around anymore on Raw. Send him to SD and let him cry like the baby his character rightfully is about how he got screwed out of his title shot and stuck in the ghetto IE Smackdown. He'd make the "I hate SD" gimmick work and we could get months of fun watching Batista humiliate and destory Edge non-stop......... -
2007, since they have Jake Roberts up next as their big nostalgia related DVD.

Uh, the fact that you said WU died when Fallon left makes me question your ability to judge the show. Fallow was garbage and only the novelty that was Tina Fey made it watchable and even THEN after two years Tina lost her novelty and it became utter and complete garbage unfit for human viewing. Amy and Tina are interchangable but at this rate, Tina is an over-exposed hack so Amy gets to stay. And Sanz, despite his flaws, gives something NEW to the update desk and keeps Seth (who's only interesting these days playing bastards opposite Amy and Rachel) from getting over-exposed. That said, they shouldn't have fucking gotten rid of Rob Riggle. He'd be perfect for WU, playing the overly macho alpha male WU guy to Amy's smarter and sarcastic counterpart.....

One scenerio I have thought up would be that Vic arranges for Ronnie to leave the Strike Team and serve as Dani's mentor as she gets promoted to detective status. Everything goes ok until Dani learns that Vic specifically had Ronnie assigned as Dani's mentor so that Ronnie could keep Dani (pregnant with child) out of harms way. And for added humor, we get a running gag where everyone thinks Ronnie is the father (because Ronnie drove a drunk Dani home after the celebration at the end of season four) and Ronnie being forced to play along with the notion after Dani tells him that she's wanting to keep it a secret that the father of her child is the informant guy from season three who kept hitting on her, since said reveal could cost her the promotion to detective. Which creates new tension as Julien starts harrassing Ronnie for not marrying the pregnant Dani, since Dani can't trust Julien enough to tell him the real identity of her child's father. Also, it would set Ronnie up to come to the Strike Team's rescue when the IAD investigation goes down via Ronnie using his status as "that guy in the background" to move around and derail IAD's investigation and possibly expose Acaveda's assorted secrets, with Dani's help (since Dani has a good relationship with Acaveda).
-
No word, though I would not be suprised if they have Acaveda reclaim the job under the notion that he wants in on Forrest Whitaker's character's IAD investigation of the Strike Team. Which could make for an interesting duel arc for the character and the Strike Team, as Acaveda goes all-out Captain Ahab when he finds out that Vic and the Strike Team are going to be busted at long last, throwing away his political career and his family in the process, and ultimately going down in flames when it comes out that he got raped/had a cop killer kill his rapist in exchange for immunity.....

Could have been worse; they could have killed Duncan off instead and have the whole twist of the Veronica/Logan/Duncan relationship triangle be a cruel bit of emotional manipulation on their part to shock you with Duncan's death. That said, the bigger issue is if they are going to end up running a storyline where they have Logan turn good again and Duncan evil just to fuck with people's expectations in terms of Veronica's love life. Which I hope they don't do since Logan might make for a cool big bad for Veronica this season what with them being former lovers and the possible twist that Logan isn't evil evil but driven to evil after being framed....
