    Worst hometown announcement ever?

No such thing exists. The cornier, the better.
  3. Can't confirm or deny the rumor, but I've been in enough Quebec wrestling lockerrooms to know that the rumors are centered around Grenier and not Dupree.
  4. Robert Horne is actually Mo. Other names: - Mark Magnus doesn't exactly scream "rebelling Arab-American". - Baldo-Train. 'Matt Bloom' would've been eons better. - Mark Canterbury. The former Henry Godwinn was actually pushed under that name for a short while. - Mikey McGuirk. I never imagined a woman with that kind of name. The man so nice they named him twice!

Worst ring attire of all time?

Right. I'm sorry, yellow does NOT fit the man. Plus: - Undertaker and his brown grampa pants of doom.

    Top 100 Drummers

I'll go with the family and say a lot of these positions are questionnable. However, we all know who the true #1 is on this list.

    New "Batmobile" pictures

    > S'all I'm sayin'...
  9. I've seen worse lineups. But they got Joe Millionaire!
  10. The pictures can be found here. Definitely worth checking out.
  11. In a match that's already highly praised on the CZW boards, Crazy Crusher defended his EWR title against Hell Storm in a truly vicious Ladder Match, to which clips can be found by clicking here.
  12. EWR is operated from Quebec City, Quebec, Canada. The french website should be a giveaway.
  13. I haven't been there in a while, but IWS is definitely another canadian fed to check out. www.syndicatewrestling.com
  14. Personally I'd go with Revolution 1.0 for the sheer crowd heat that is Steen/Daniels, and a nice violent TLC to boot. The full list is available at ROH's online store. By the way, confirmed for our February show; none other than current TNA X Champion Petey Williams.
  15. Good to see people enjoying it. To answer a few questions: - People most definitely enjoyed this match. Some were scared at times, (even I was) but both guys got the much deserved dose of respect from the crowd. - Hell Storm is one of the best pure wrestlers in the whole province, while Crusher is so versatile to the point that he can work any type of match and make it good. And these two are the toughest bastards you will ever meet. - I can understand those who say some of that stuff was unnecessary, but trust me, guys. I've worked alongside these guys for years now. I know them well enough to see that they know what they're doing, no matter how insane the spot. I've never seen them take a bad risk.

    Most Shameless Shilling in Wrestling

"And I got a SWORD, too!" Classic.
  17. EWR's anniversary show takes place on January 8th inside our new venue and the main event has already been signed. Two wrestlers who have made a huge impact in the fed had promised to come back eventually, and they will deliver next month: Tickets on sale for 15$CAN.

    If you were a wrestler...

Prefer to be given only finish and call everything else in the ring ? Lay the entire match out beforehand ? A mix of both. Give me a general rundown of who does what and then call some stuff in the ring. Taken from the um, one match I ever wrestled. Like to have your promo's scripted ? Or just be given a couple of bullet points, and wing the rest ? Bullet points. The rest just comes naturally. Blade often ? Only on occasion ? Would you rather never blade at all ? Only for big occasions. What style would you like to wrestle ? Why would you prefer to employ that particular style over others ? Bret Hart style. Nothing too flashy, straight to the "I must defeat you" point. Refuse to take certain moves ? Only take them when working with certain wrestlers? Almost anything, save for the Ganso Bombs of this world. I'd want my career to last a while. Are there any match types you'd like to wrestle in a lot ? Some match types you'd rather never have to work in ? Want: Battle royals, if only because you basically can do whatever you want and the only requirement is follow the booking [X eliminates Y when W shows up]. If I'm feeling froggy, cage match. Don't Want: Chain or Dog Collar Matches. What style of normal match would you like to do the most ? Would you prefer to sell or to dominate ? Would you like to do long matches ? Haven't tested my crowd working abilities enough to answer this. I'll say face, though. Would you like to have a manager or valet to work spots with, or would you rather just do it all yourself ? If I'm a heel, I gotta have a manager that will have undying devotion to me and is willing to get tossed around a little. And he'll also have to take a beating or two for me. Are there some types of angles that you would refuse to do ? Some types of angles that you'd love to do ? Don't Want: anything beyond the line of good taste. Want: I like to think I have an open mind. What promotion would you like to work for the most ? What promotion would you hate to work for ? The obvious answer would be WWE, but I'd say more 1996 WCW when the cruiserweights were starting out. I was also a fan of the Lethal Lottery where random partners would be paired up in a tournament and then the final eight meet in a battle royal. Any wrestlers today that you'd like to work against ? Any you would avoid working against at all costs ? Want - As a referee: Ric Flair, bar none. One of my dreams is to be a foil to his heel antics. As a wrestler: Mick Foley. I know he'd go out of his way to make me look good. Don't Want - As a referee: Mark Henry. I'd be bored to tears. As a wrestler: A pissed off Taker. What wrestlers from the past would you like to work against ? What wrestlers from the past would you not want to work against ? Want: Arn Anderson. I'd sell that spinebuster like a goddamn car wreck. Don't Want: Justin Hawk Bradshaw. I mean, yikes.
  19. -Hogan vs. Andre, Wrestlemania 3: Andre gets jealous of Hogan's success, turns on him by hiring manager Bobby Heenan and challenges Hogan for the biggest money match in recorded history. -Hart Foundation and Danny Davis vs. British Bulldogs and Tito Santana, Wrestlemania 3: Danny Davis screwed the faces out of titles, and so they want sweet sweet revenge. -Jake Roberts vs. Andre, Wrestlemania 5: Andre was afraid of snakes.
  20. That actually happened. At one point, Vince called out Owen (who had been doing sneak attacks from the crowd on DX) and told him to basically quit doing that. He then booked him in a title match against Shawn on Raw, where HHH promptly whacked him with a crutch to cost him the match.

    Most Disappointing Movie(s)

My bad. Agreed on Kill Bill 2. I expected a bit more from that last fight scene. And for those who say it's because David Carradine is too old to do this, just watch the Damoe Deleted Scene from the DVD. (which also re-enforces the awesomeness of David Carradine) The man can still go.

    Most Disappointing Movie(s)

Matrix Revolutions. Ok, yeah, close to everybody hated it but I tried to keep an open mind. I WANTED to like this movie, but the ending just left me bummed out. More to come as I remember them.

    Most Disappointing Movie(s)

Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy If only for the fact that 3/4 of the trailers never showed up on film. Is it true that they're planning a sequel from all the unused footage? Terminator 3: Rise Of The Machines Great movie, though the ending disappointed me. Would've been a great way to end the trilogy, but now I hear they're making a fourth one featuring Adult John Connor.

    Fav style of ring introductions.

What I prefer: Undercard gets the standard intros as the wrestler come to the ring to their music. Main event, and main event ONLY should get the japanese intros. [ie: intros done when all participants are in the ring]
