I think one of the reasons Edge has become so good is because he's gotten the chance to work singles matches and do programs with great workers and learn from that. Christian has gotten no such opportunities. The last high profile singles match he had was from WMX8 against DDP. I'm sure if given the chance that Edge had, Christian would succeed as well.

I'm a little biased because Christian is my favorite wrestler, but I'd say Christian is the perfect guy to push as a singles computer for the WWE. He's decent on the mic, he gets a fair amount of heat for a sidekick. He also does a good job of wrestling the WWE style, plus he was trained in the WWE developmental system so he's also home grown. They love that! He also doesn't have a goofy gimmick holding him back. Unfortunately there is no other singles title on RAW, so he might just end up like Jeff Hardy or RVD, randomly teaming with various wrestlers who also have nothing else to do. But, I'd say hanging around the first ever undisputed champion and feuding with two of the most popular faces on RAW not named RVD is a pretty decent push.

Are there even enough black guys on RAW to reform the Nation? They'd have to find some one who has charisma to play the Rock's role and D-Lo ain't it.

Explain to me how being big has anything to do with Albert getting over or deserving a push. Mark Henry is big. He's not over and never has been. 3MW are huge and they're not over. Being big doesn't mean you'll be able to get over or deserve a push You say Benoit's mic skills are mediocre. Well, so are Albert's mic skills! You think Benoit would have to be over exposed to get over? Well, what do you call Albert all of sudden appearing on Smackdown injuring one of the top guys on the roster, getting a feud with one of the most over faces on Smackdown and then being in the main event. I call it the start of over exposure. Who cares if they have to over expose Benoit,The WWE didn't have a problem over exposing Brock or Batista so why should they have a problem with Benoit? It's not like Albert just started in the WWE, like Batista. He's been here since at least 1999 and out side of the tag division he has shown absolutely nothing besides his ability to grunt and shout that shows he deserves such a sudden push. But you're right Edge needs someone new to feud with. That someone should have been Matt Hardy.

okay, this bothers me. if you can't even define what you're talking about, then there's no way at all to figure out whether or not there's any grounds for your claim. if you can't even EXPLAIN what you believe, much less justify it, then it's time to call the belief into question. [/socrates] The point of my post was to show why Edge is booked so strongly. And I explained why. Because he's marketable. In one of his post TMD said that Edge made his opponents look like fools and I simply said that I had no idea why that happens. Being booked strongly and making people look like fools are two different things and I have no reason to explain or try to justify the latter.

When I say decent, I don't mean giving earth shattering promos like The Rock . I just mean that he gets his point across in an efficent manner, he can pop the crowd sometimes and doesn't embarass himself or the company when he's on mic.

If you hadn't mentioned RVD's name I would've thought you were talking about Jeff Hardy! Yes, I'm trying say RVD and Jeff Hardy are somewhat similar.

I can't explain why he makes Angle or his other opponents look like fools. But I can explain why he is booked so strongly. Not only is he home grown, not only is he young but overall he's more marketable than Benoit and even Eddy. He's a good looking kid, he's decent on the mic and he's a good enough wrestler. That's the kind of guy you want playing a major role in the company. Even if he is having his hand held in his matches he still manages to keep up with the guys he's facing. And yes, I know Angle is everything Edge is and more but you need more than one guy at the top of your company so Edge gets pushed. And APO is right, faces in the WWE don't show fear.

Damn, that's a great interview. It sucks that he doesn't have job in the WWE because of some petty assholes. I totally understood where he was coming from. Alan Funk also had some pretty interesting things to say about HWA in his interview.

My CD collection was not that impressive prior to a couple of years ago. Two things have remained consistent in that period: 1) I've had a job, and 2.) I haven't had a steady girlfriend or any sort of real financial commitment. As such, I've been free to spend all of my disposable income--which is most of it--on music. I suspect that I'd choose music over adequate amounts of food if it came to that, though. I've never had a steady job and any money I manage to get my hands on goes towards clothes,video games and once I turned 18, porn. I do have a decent sized collection of burnt cds but only 10 or 11 store bought CDs. Someone started a thread like this last week so I thought I'd start another one. What did you like about tonight's RAW, if anything? I liked Jericho and Christian's confrontation with Trish. I like how Christian mocked Trish for barking like a dog. I also liked Lance's new tights. Actually that's all I liked. Man, Raw kind of sucked tonight!

I was wondering who you guys think is the best wrestler in NWA TNA. I haven't watched TAN since week 4 but the one person I was really impressed with was Jerry Lynn. Which is odd because I thought he sucked in the WWE. Maybe he was just lacking quality opponents

I didn't see the match with Jeff hardy but the RVD match was good. I only saw him on jakked and after hearing so much about him I was disappointed with what I saw. Maybe sucks was a strong word.

No I'm not kidding. Pick up the RAW magazine with Kurt Angle on it and you can see for yourself how truly fucked up Jeff is. As an added bonus there's a picture of him removing ticks from his dog with duct tape and a picture of him trying to put a racoons head in his mouth. At least thats what it looks like.
