Oops we're not nominating yet? Sorry.

That hilarious "Technical Difficulties" Screen
LaParkaYourCar replied to LaParkaYourCar's topic in General Wrestling
Sweet do you post there too? If you haven't figured it out I'm "Who" over there. -
I don't understand why wrestlers don't just do the normal Diamond Cutter sell for the RKO.
-
That's basically what this will probably be. A Pumphandle Juvi Driver/Michinoku Driver.
-
Okay, but I'm gonna put my nominations in spoiler tags. Don't forget Best PPV
-
Do we nominate through PM?
-
What does the font of the DVD box look like? I've seen one with a TV (computer monitor?) that has the World Title on it, but I'm guessing that's last years.

http://www.wrestlingencyclopedia.com/Moves...choDriverII.wmv <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yeah there's no way that's being used in WWE unless it's an Ultra-Safe version.

Well on the same breath why hasn't Undertaker been arrested for killing Paul Bearer? -
Man this is one stacked PPV.

Wait...Orlando Jordan won a match??? Is this Bizarro World??

Stupidest/Worst/Most Offensive Smackdown (Special)

Meh he's been more of a Goth Biker than a Zombie this time around....altough he does have nine lives. So maybe he's a Goth Biker Cat....yeah that's it. -

Taker hasn't been a zombie since like '97 when he "tattooed" that tear on his face and started acting more human...don't ask me how he came back to life though. -
No I don't think it's supposed to be a joke as it's more them really trying to keep him in check, but they don't quite realize that House needs to act the way he does to get the job done pretty much. They really think they're doing the right thing in trying to control him.

Sweet I got a feud.

Stupidest/Worst/Most Offensive Smackdown (Special)
LaParkaYourCar replied to Fuzzy Dunlop's topic in The WWE Folder
I just watched the clips of it on WWE.com and honestly I didn't find it that offensive. I found it stupid in that we're once again supposed to believe that a) Taker lived through that and b) Orton won't go to jail for that. Plus those explosions were terribly cheesy, but I wasn't offended because of Eddy's death. -
Well in the preview for next week they give away that it's sort of a ruse to mess with/keep House in check. In the preview Foreman is kind of fed up with doing it and she asks him if he'd like it better if it were "for real" or something like that.

Best Wrestler in the last five years: 1. Chris Benoit 2. Eddy Guerrero 3. Kurt Angle Best feud in the last five years: 1. HHH/Cactus (a lot of it happened in 2000 so it counts) 2. Austin/Angle 3. Benoit/Jericho As you can tell I haven't really cared about a feud since 2001. Sure I like individual matches and wrestlers, but there hasn't been a feud that's just caught my attention and kept my attention since 2001. Best match in the last five years: 1. Angle vs. Benoit from Rumble '03 2. HHH vs. Cactus Jack from Rumble '00 3. Chris Benoit vs. HHH vs. HBK from WM 20 Best brawler in the last five years: 1. Mick Foley 2. HHH 3. Undertaker Best High Flyer in the last five years: Since this is WWE only it's hard to think of three 1. Rey Mysterio 2. Paul London 3. Juvi Best Tag Team in the last five years: 1. Edge & Christian 2. Los Guerreros 3. Dudley Boyz Most Underrated performer in the last five years: 1. William Regal (Never given his due) 2. Big Show (When motivated I've seen him do good) 3. Scotty 2 Hotty (Yup you heard right. If he'd get a better finisher I'd like him more. He's had some great matches. The one with Dean Malenko from 2000 springs to mind) Most Overrated performer in the last five years: 1. RVD (as much as I hate to admit it, he became very formulaic the last few years, but he was still over like crazy in 2001) 2. Booker T (I'll agree with this pick since others picked him. I've become bored with him.) 3. John Cena Best promo guy in the last five years: 1. Rock 2. Angle 3. Jericho Best PPV in the last five years: 1. WrestleMania X7 (hands down) 2. SummerSlam 2000 3. Backlash 2000 Worst PPV in the last five years: 1. Great American Bash '04 2. Armageddon '04 3. Judgment Day 2002 Most disgusting promotional tactic in the last five years: Katie Vick Best promotional tactic in the last five years: The WrestleMania 21 commercials...those were hilarious. Especially the Angle/Christy "When Harry Met Sally" one.

Ummm I'm pretty sure Kurt Angle asked the second question in that meeting as Vince called Kurt by name on the second question.
-
Replace them for the last movie?? Why?? If you've had them for 6 movies why get rid of them for the last one? Everyone will be so familiar with the cast at that point that getting rid of them would probably kill the last movie.
-
I just got the DVD and was watching the extras. Who would have known that Konnan of all people was the one who taught Bret how to do the Sharpshooter?? I also gotta say I'd love to see that Bret/Dynamite Stampede match in it's entirety. That looked insane. Especially that spot where Bret whipped Dynamite into the ropes and Dynamite flipped over and took a huge bounce off the ropes.
-
Ah yes the MST3K episode that the poster Big McLargeHuge got his name from.
-
I guess because of Christmas. Well if I don't find a solid feud I will defend the X Title against someone atleast.
-
I'm said it cut off. I wanted to know what Gene thought about that groin pull. "He's a high flyer of the highest magnitude" that Hypnosis!

Stupidest/Worst/Most Offensive Smackdown (Special)

I didn't even see it, but it sounds to me that everyone is overreacting.
