Damn that thing is 12mb I'm not downloading that on a 56k unless I have the time.

I used to post at the Wrestleline forums, but those were filled with the biggest assholes known to man so when I saw a link for The Smarks I went there. I liked it there much more than Wrestleline. I think I joined The Smarks forum in about July 2001.

Wasn't the dumpster incident the test for NAO to join DX or something?

I don't really remember those matches. I'm glad someone mentioned Bret Hart/123 Kid. I may hate Sean Waltman, but that was a great match.

The Foley/Funk match happened in the middle of the Dude Love/Austin feud. After Unforgiven Foley vowed to not wear the Dude Love outfit again after Vince gave a title shot to Goldust. Dude got pissed and Vince said to prove himself he should rip Terry Funk's heart out. Foley and Funk had an awesome match while Austin did commentary. After the match Foley attacked Austin and went back to Vince and reclaimed the Dude outfit showing that he was still in Vince's camp. After that came the suit wearing, false teeth wearing Dude. I think that's how it went down.

I was always scared of the "Test of the Emergency Broadcasting System" noise as a kid. It was just a loud obnoxious noise and I heard the word emergency and freaked out.

Put Blurricane in there for the IZ side of things. I'm always trying to get him in matches since my first feud with that character really won't take shape for a few more weeks.

Anyone wanna be interviewed by "Ace Reporter Gary Holmes" as a backstage segment?
-
Hey that's always fun. Or do a table spot where they get wiped out.
-
How so? I usually write the match then go back in and write commentary so that I know what to have them say to point out certain points of the match. I think it adds to the emotion and energy of the match to have commentary.
-
Script format that he was talking about pretty much pertains to speech and music only. You can write the rest of the match how you want.

The booing was edited out and you could tell the crowd reactions were mixed and spliced. Look at all the wide shots of Limp Bizkit on stage when the crowd has their backs to the camera...no one is moving, but magically when it's just crowd shots they're moving.

I had always figured they made it up for The Big Bossman. I've never been to Georgia.

Cobb County is a real place??
-
Geez they must have clipped a lot out.
-
greatest application of the sharpshooter I've ever seen.
-
Bah they clipped the match!
-
Haha when Rhyno isn't trying to talk all tough he sounds goofy.
-
Geez Luger sounds like an idiot on that tape. This is up there with interviewing Pillman's wife on the pathetic scale.
-
More to poke fun at. After watching the Bret/Bulldog match on my Confidential DVD I noticed that Vince never called a move right. He called a Russian Leg Sweep a neckbreaker and he called an Inverted Atomic Drop a reverse piledriver.

You know this is one of the few times I saw what Jesse's hair looked like back then when he wasn't wearing a hat or bandanna. Whoa when did they record that Gorilla Monsoon interview?
-
Well that was an interesting way of staying in character while still doing a normal interview.
-
I found after writing my first match that doing the script format made the match flow better and made it easier to portray dramatic moments in the match.
