If they end Smallville and make a Superman movie that ends up being crappy I'll be pissed.

Actually I think it was just the guy who plays Clark they wanted and maybe Lex Luthor.

Supposedly the show was supposed to be training the cast in their parts so that they could eventually play those parts in a new Superman movie. But the creators of the new movie didn't want that cast. That and if you've read the rough draft script it sounds horrible.
